Howard Head Sports Medicine Center

I was in a bit of a pickle after getting my clavicle pinned back together in Vail. Prior to surgery, I wasn’t informed that I’d need to have constant PT post-​op; I thought I was having only one session in Vail to go over the basics of how to recuperate. Here I was, in Boulder, with nobody in town to accommodate my needs, either because they didn’t take my insurance, or I needed to schedule 2 weeks in advance. I decided to call the Howard Head team in Westminster, and it was easily the best decision I made (although the commute from Boulder sucks in traffic, it is totally worth it)! To say this team has accommodated to my needs well is an understatement.
I visited them for the first time 3 days post-​op, and they let me come in ASAP. I was so doped out on Percocet and unprepared for everything (still very embarrassing for me to look back on that first day), yet they were so professional, understanding, and nice about it all. And trust me, I am no easy client; if they can handle me, they can handle any of you out there.
They are doing an amazing job rehabilitating my shoulder! I especially like that this location is smaller, which equates to the patient getting more 1:1 time with the PT than elsewhere. I’m soooo happy to be out of my sling after only two weeks!
If I get injured again (which I hope is never), you bet I’ll be back in touch with these guys! If you live in North Denver suburbia or Boulder, don’t even consider doing your PT elsewhere! Thanks Zach, Sarah, and Brad :-)

Most amazing bunch of people I’ve met during my whole knee surgery process. Both the Denver and the Vail clinic have helped me immensely in my recovery, thank you Howard Head!
