Specialties

Our ice cream is made fresh in-​house throughout the week with only the freshest ingredients straight from the dairy. We have 20 hand crafted flavors to serve each day and rotate in new and creative flavors each week. We also make our waffle cones in-​house.

Our friendly staff is here to make sure you try a number of different ice cream flavors so you can make that all important decision! Pick a traditional favorite like Vanilla, Strawberry or Mint Chocolate Chip. Maybe you’re feeling creative and want to sample the Minnesota Salted Toffee or Honey Lavender. We’ll keep adding new recipes so you can keep trying new creative flavors!

We decided to give this place a try after determining it was not worthwhile to wait in the insanely long line at Little Man. The staff were very friendly and gave us plenty of samples. There is a nice creamy base to all of the flavors. I got the honey lavender which was excellent. This place will definitely be our first choice next time!

I’m gonna have to try and go back again. When I went there last time the ice cream was decent but nothing to rave about. I wish that the prices or scoops were more competitive with the other large Ice cream location near by. They also weren’t open during their posted business hours last time I was going to go.

What better way to celebrate a cold February weekend than a scoop of ice cream! I would’ve taken a picture of my chocolate ice cream. However, looking at a picture is like smelling the wrapper of a Snickers bar, you won’t get the full effect. The staff is friendly and you can try all the flavors. This is their second location off of Platte St as their first location is in Littleton. Love this place. Definitely a good dessert after spending a day down the street at Denver Beer Co.

I guess the other reviews are accurate. We finished up dinner and went looking for ice cream, and there was an enormous line at Little Man. Inside Scoop was on the way home, so we poked our head in.
The friendly guy behind the counter was happy to provide samples, and placed impressively large single scoops into standard cake cones. My strawberry basil scoop was delicious and creamy — I also enjoyed the salted caramel.
Maybe there’s something truly special happening elsewhere, but I didn’t have to wait in line and I got a delicious scoop for a good price. I’ll be back.

I love ice cream and finding a place that has great ice cream AND inside seating in the winter was a total score! Their hours are understandably limited this time of year but I was happy to find they were open over the weekend so we could enjoy ice cream for dessert after our dinner!

As a connoisseur of ice cream, I’ve sampled (if sampling is available) all of the different stores in Denver, in search of my favorite. I lived in Denver for a year or so, before moving back to San Diego. I return to Denver often to visit friends/​family. On my last visit I discovered the new ice cream store on Platte Street. Well, I discovered my favorite… they serve the BEST ice cream in Denver.
After my samplings of their Minnesota Salted Toffee and Coffee Chocolate Chip, and more chocolate flavors, it was decision time. I decided to go with the Ghirardelli Chocolate.
Yummy, Inside Scoop, I’ll be back for more!

Nutty Irishman is where it’s at! I am a fan of Inside Scoop for a lot of reasons. One of which is because they have fantastic ice cream and great customer service. The gentleman that helped my gf and I was so courteous and willing to let us try samples. We enjoyed taking our scoops to other local shops in the nearby area followed with a brew over at Denver Beer Co. This small shop is perfect for that quick stop craving.

Good place to get ice cream in the area when not looking forward to a long wait for Little Man’s ice cream. While they don’t have many wacky flavors like some of the well known stores do in Denver, that is fine by me as I love the traditional flavors. I had the Ghirardelli (basically chocolate with dark chocolate chips) and it was great! I was able to taste several flavors and the staff actually encouraged it. Great new find for ice cream in Denver.

Delicious and unique ice cream. It’s a cross between Sweet Action and Little Man. The ice cream has a great base and is very creamy. Had the honey lavender, it was like a sweet cream with hints of lavender and honey. Staff is very friendly and has a welcoming environment. Loved it!

Arguably the best ice cream I’ve had in all my years living in and eating around L.A., and definitely the best since moving to Denver! The oreo and coffee were both dense, creamy, smooth, and rich with great depth of flavor (especially the coffee) and without fallIng prey to the cloying call of sugar. Two of us each tried one flavor and were immediately sold, instead of the usual 3+ rounds of sampling. On top of the deliciousness, the prices aren’t as ridiculously high as other artisan ice cream ships. ($ 9 pints from Carmella, I’m looking at you! We grabbed a couple pints to try at home, too…) The tables are nicely rustic; the atmosphere is simple and pleasant. Win win!

We live in the area and are very excited to have an alternative to Little Man with the hour long lines. The lemon crunch is absolutely delicious! I love the bits of vanilla wafer. We will be coming here often.

Wow! These guys did it again! I’ve been going to the Inside Scoop down in Littleton for years, and now they have a killer spot on Platte St. The décor is fantastic, with some amazing paintings by a local artist. Of course the ice cream is delicious. Welcome to downtown Denver!
