L.A. Insurance – Denver

I have been getting my car insurance from Dani at this location for years. She has always gotten me excellent prices, is incredibly helpful and answers all of my millions of questions. I have never needed to use any of the insurance providers I’ve had through LA so I can’t speak to their ease of process but I know that I have saved a ton of money on my full coverage with them. I just got a new car and my insurance barely went up. I fully recommend giving Dani a call for your insurance needs.

Crooks in every sense of the word. I don;t know if it’s LA Insurance’s fault, or the insurance company (Safeway Insurance in Tempe, AZ) that they underwrite with, but I have been dealing with the rude and uneducated people at the local Denver LA Insurance office. Basically, I paid for 6 month insurance policy and they convinced me I should have the payment deducted directly from my checkings’ account on the 1^st of every month which I agreed to. I paid for the first month in the office. Then the 1^st rolls around, plenty of money in my checkings account but the payment never comes out. I check daily and by the 5^th it still hasn’t come out, nor does my bank show that it is even pending. Then I get a cancellation letter. Fair enough, I go get insurance down the street, Then I get a notice saying I owe LA Insurance/​Safeway $ 75.00. What? I call, can only talk to the rude lady at LA Insurance as Safeway doesn’t seem to have real people and bounce your calls to LA Insurance. She proceeds to tell me the payment was rejected for non sufficient funds and that they covered me for 12 days regardless before cancelling and charged me a $ 25 NSF fee, No way. I told her I have bank statements showing that there was plenty of money in the account and a letter from the bank stating that no direct withdrawel was pending from their company. SHe tells me I should have called and paid it then. Oh, wait, yeah, of course, it’s my fault you convinced me to do direct withdrawel and then didn’t do it and then supposedly covered me for 12 days without asking. I don;t think so. SHe told me sending in proof would not do any good and I still owed $ 75 for their mistake. Wrong. Thank goodness I have perfect credit and don’t have to worry about a little $ 75 ding on my credit report but a crook is a crook and LA Insurance is one of the worst!
