Business Owner
Bob Dooley, the owner and President of Lake Norman Pool & Spa, was born and raised in Statesville, NC. After graduating with a business degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Bob moved to the shores of Lake Norman in Troutman and began a career in sales with the Pitney Bowes Company. After a 3 year stint with this company, Bob accepted a position in 1984 with Pacific Industries, a major manufacturer of in-ground swimming pool components, as a regional sales manager calling on swimming pool dealers and distributors throughout the Southeast. This early experience allowed him to visit and learn from hundreds of successful pool and spa companies in his territory, which prepared him for the largest undertaking of his life… to start his own company.
