Le Rendez Vous

We hosted a graduation party here in December of last year. Olga was wonderful! The location was excellent, and the appetizers were fantastic! In addition to Olga the remaining staff members were very helpful. The service was top shelf, And the décor was elegant! I know there is a cultural mix of furnishings, but that’s what makes this venue so great! I would host another event here without hesitation. European flavor with a touch of Harlem jazz! Great job, Olga and staff! We’ll meet again soon!

Le Rendez Vous was the spot for my «bridal shower» back in March (an excuse for my girlfriends and I to enjoy a night out together — and I was the guest of honor that month).
We spent the evening upstairs which worked out really well for our group! Our evenings usually consist of lots of wine and appetizers so this was a great spot for us and I hope we end up back there for another evening!

This place has potential but is lacking. What is lacking? An identity. When you walk in there is a combination of French, Italian and African safari with a Liberace flare. One would expect to see some old world wine by the glass in a place with a name like this, but there was only one, not very good Italian wine and the only french offering that I saw were champagne. Sitting on the the oversize white couches I searched for something that would inspire me but I was left with a glass of wine that my date did not want. I would recommend that they seek to expand the wine menu to hold some weight to the concept I assume they are attempting to fulfill. Give me a Bordeaux that is a good representation of the region there are some great Cote du Rhone or perhaps Chianti classico or riserva. Have some options on the menu that are worthy of being across from a nice wine shop. I understand that there are different pallets but I felt there was not a good middle of the road option. I would be happy to come in a taste all the options as they are looking to build their wine list. I think it is a fun space and I will go back to peruse the menu. I will update this review when I go next time.

Le Rendez Vous is the perfect place for lounging and intimate conversations. French décor and a very fine wine selection. Live music is a special treat.

Like walking into Louis XIV sitting room. Stuffed mushrooms were great as well as the liberal pours. Great place for an apéritif or afternoon glass between shopping trips.
