Was here for a convention and snuck out two days in a row for the Siam I Am kale and spinach salad with tofu. Really good and healthy option.

First off the entire place smelled like bleach or some kind of cleaning product but salad was good. I always feel like the put a lot of dressing on even when I ask for lite on the dressing. If yiu want a big ass salad with all sorts of options for ingredients, this is a quick stop.

I really like Mad Greens — their salad selection is interesting with all sorts of different flavor combos… and the team that makes your selected tasty goodness is laid back and friendly. I also like the location — and it’s not badly priced either.

The salads and sandwiches we had were wonderful! My only critique is in the design of the food line… I wish the glass that separates the public from the food was higher. People lean over, point and speak their order to the staff. Would be great if their design was like Subway and Chipotle.

Great food! Great service! Very knowledgeable staff — very serious about my food restrictions. Will definitely return whenever I’m in this area again.

Umm… yeah. Service at this place was a joke. The girl at the ordering station didn’t know the ingredients to any of the menu items and was asking customers to read them off. Then a line of about 6 people piled up before the next employee could take our bowls and finish our meals. Everyone was served out of order. When I paid, my wrap was sitting right there by the register but no one knew it was mine so they didn’t hand it to me until five minutes later. There were about 10 dirty bowls piled up by the trash. Guess they don’t have time to bus them. And my meal definitely wasn’t worth $ 10.25. It was just a bunch of romaine and a small amount of chicken salad. I won’t be coming back.

Eat better and healthier without losing all the great flavors! I sampled their salad and 3 different kinds of hummus at an event. I really loved the beet, garlic and avocado hummus! They were really smooth, creamy and delicious! As a healthy foodie and vegetarian, it’s comforting to know that there’re restaurants that cater to vegetarians and are very budget friendly at the same time! It’s definitely a welcoming addition to a growing list of healthy eateries in Denver! I can’t wait to eat at their café for a full meal in the near future!

I won’t be back. We went about 45 mins before closing and they were already cleaning the floor with all the chairs on the tables, removing any possibility of sitting down for a meal. The greens were soggy and the staff were rushing us. There is not reason to go here when you can go to Choppers for the same prices, better atmosphere and to have the salad chopped instead of trying to gracefully shovel down a 6 inch piece of romaine.

Needed a quick meal before a tour at the Byers Evans House. Moved though the line quickly and had a delicious da Vinci salad. Easy, convenient, reasonably priced. Wish I had tried the sodas. On a weekday, avoid going right at 12 or 1, when you’ll see the lunch hour crowds roll in.

I stumbled in from the art museum across the sidewalk badly in need of a pick me up. I wasn’t expecting much; just needed something to eat pronto. The cheapest thing on the menu was $ 6, but I will always try something with pesto on it, so I decided to go ahead and eat lunch here. I ordered the Marilyn Monroe without the sun dried tomatoes and a soda and found a seat. All of the tables were dirty even though they didn’t look very busy, so I figured I was about to eat something awful. However, the Maine Root soda perked me right up. I mixed the vanilla crème with blackberry and it was delicious. They brought out the sandwich and it was fantastic. I will absolutely be finding one of these closer to home. I would give a better rating because the food itself was so good(and the folks at the counter were friendly and fast), but when I pay $ 10 for a meal I really don’t want to wipe down my own table to be able to eat it.

Do you like salads? This is your place. They have sandwiches but salads are their thing. It is like subway for salads. You pick your size salad. You pick the greens and then you can have any of their thirty or so items in your salad. I got romaine lettuce with pumpkin seeds, onion, celery, tomato and kalamata olives. Then you pick from about 20 dressings and the amount of dressing you want. They hand toss it. Very fresh and very good. They have Maine root drinks on tap. Recommended.

Friendly staff. The food was quick and my wrap tasted fresh. There was a shortage in seating. I loved the soda selection. Local sodas, fair trade sourced.

Yum! I had the Don Quixote salad which consisted of Baby Greens, Hass Avocado, Jack Cheese, Mango, Roasted Corn and I also added the Southwestern Grilled Chicken(always need a little bit of meat in my salads). They recommend the creamy ginger dressing to the Don Quixote salad but I chose to add a light balsamic vinaigrette. The small chopped mangos also gave my salad a special kick to it. My body felt completely cleansed and so healthy after I devoured my salad. I wish Seattle had a place like MAD Greens. I’ll definitely be going back to this place on my next trip to Denver.

I stumbled on to this little gem by pure accident and on a mission to eat healthy. Their salads were in the $ 10 range by the time I was done but I feel it was so worth it! You walk in and see the display of fresh, yummy ingredients! I was overwhelmed by the menu because there are too many delicious choices. I ended up getting a salad that starts with an «O» and added grilled chicken, avocado, and a yummy cucumber yogurt dressing. This salad was tossed in front of me and placed in a HUGE bowl! BYFARTHEBESTSALAD I’VEHADIN A WHILE!!! It was just delicious! I ate every last piece of it. I wish I could go here every day for lunch! I would not deter from a daily salad! Love this place! Def must try!

I go to this location probably once a week. It is better to go either at 11 or after 1 because it gets crazy busy, but then again most places on 16th do. The last time I went, the lady who helped me let me use an expired coupon(BOGO), gave me extra avocado for free, and my «regular» sized salad was so big she had to put it in a «large» to-go bowl. She was very friendly too and seemed like she enjoyed working there– which is why I felt motivated to write this review. Thanks!

The chipotle of the salad world! I love the pre-designed options best!(it’s also cheeper than putting all those great looking topping on and paying a fortune!) You start with the base, then you add you toppings according to your order! At the end you choose your dressing, definitely get it on the side unless you like alot — you can ask for light, but it doesn’t’ always work. The line move pretty fast, even at high noon. it’s definitely an option downtown, but there are other places i enjoy for a salad more! The staff is pretty friendly, they change their gloves between orders — which is nice!

Great salad place — ingredients are fresh an of good quality; the service is quick and friendly! I have had the Don Quixote and the Mad Cuban — both fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed them. Also, if you work downtown this option will not leave you feeling ripped off.

On 16th Street there are so many places to try out. MAD Greens advertises itself as a healthy eats location that is both vegan and vegetarian friendly. I am neither vegan nor vegetarian and I really liked the place. Food(4 Stars): I had the Marilyn Monroe Panini, which was delicious and consisted of pesto sauce that went really well with the ham. Keep in mind that their paninis are not too big, so two halves is perfect for a full lunch. Everything tasted fresh and it was toasted to order which made me even happier! Italian Wedding Soup with Meatballs: This soup was SOYUMMY. It had a nice broth with 4 meatballs and small balls of pasta that made the soup really fun to eat. It wasn’t overly salty and went well with the sandwich. I would definitely order this again the next time I am at Mad Greens. Just So You Know: It gets pretty crowded during lunchtime, so make sure you are ready for the line. There is no outside seating but there is a cafeteria-like corridor next door where you can have your lunch. Businessmen and local office workers frequent this place. It is the Subway of salads.
