Established in 2009.

What about Moe’s? Our staff is the backbone to our award winning BBQ and our best BBQ awards. Our staff is dedicated to learning our unique craft of pit fired and slow cooked BBQ. We use fresh select ingredients and it’s all from scratch; our rubs, sauces and our southern side dishes. Our pit masters are always teaching and refining their technique to deliver some of the best Southern BBQ! Lunch and Dinner at Moe’s paired with a great sports bar and if that’s not enough, bowling, billiards and full catering services. Moe’s is fun for the family, kids, and business clientele and set up for all your party needs and catering services for both in house and we can bring it all to you.

Ordered the Brisket. It was sliced thick and both my wife and I thought it was too salty. Sides were good. Atmosphere was poor mainly due to tables not being clean at all.

Very overpriced and the food is ok at best. There are many better options in Denver. The music is turned up way too loud at times and it seems like the tables are always filthy and my napkin dispenser was broken. To top it all of the woman that took my order was far from friendly.

I would honestly give the food itself 2.5 stars… The cornbread was jalapeño style and blahhhhh… Not sweet or tasty at all. The potato salad, meh. I got the smoked turkey sandwich… It was ok. Nothing amazing or that I would recommend to others, also the BBQ sauce itself… Meh. Everything was just… Meh, and not cheap.
The place itself is roomy and chill, but after having been to Memphis, TN where BBQ is like magic and any other BBQ spot in Denver this doesn’t even compare. Go somewhere else for good BBQ… There’s TV’s and beer so maybe that’s why you should come here, but definitely not for the BBQ.

Amazing! Been coming here for years and it’s always delicious! All the meats are wonderful! They sometimes have fried green tomatoes to! The staff is very friendly at this location! This is by far the best location to go to if your going to try it. The only downside to this place is the Mac and cheese has no flavor, salt or nothing! It could be so much cheesier to unfortunately. But everything else it amazing!

Had the pulled pork, bama style. Good, tender. BBQ has good flavor. The sweet potato casserole is damn good, just like how it’s done in Texas. Food came fast. Id come back.

The food is spot on, and it’s a really good sign when I sometimes look forward to the sides more than the meat (which is already pretty damn good).
Unfortunately, the service is not so great. Last time in the cashier misunderstood my order and I got something I didn’t want. Brought it to her attention, and she just told me that’s what I ordered… that’s not how you run a business. Eventually got the right food, but was still charged for the more expensive meal she thought I ordered.
I’ll still come back, because the food quality outweighs the service issues. Keep it up in the kitchen folks!

This is definitely one of my favorite places to go for lunch, but unfortunately I had a pretty disappointing experience. I went with the 3 meat platter plus nachos to share. The nachos were great as always, chips were even crispier. One of my favorite meats to get are the wings, and unfortunately after having a couple, I saw a couple of hairs on the wings. I’ve heard that sometimes when not cleaned completely, you’ll have leftover feather remains, which is pretty disgusting.

Recently my guy and I came here during the day because he was cravings BBQ, and I’m a kid who likes mac n cheese and BBQ places always have it as a side!
I haven’t been to Moe’s in quite a while so I was glad we decided to stop in, and was extremely glad about the easy parking situation.
Our server Emily was very friendly and helpful. They have a decent beer selection on tap. I’m not much of a red meat eater so I took a risk going for catfish and I’m so glad l did! The flavor was great.
The mac n cheese of course did not disappoint. There was a little too much mustard in the potato salad. Overall good experience, we’ll be back!

Just came from Moe’s and GOD DAMN that Catfish sent me on an existential journey thru time and space until finally the squash casserole and white BBQ sauce slapped me back down to Earth and into consciousness. Tyler, Emily and Logan provided some of the best service I’ve ever had and were so welcoming and amiable that I will not hesitate to return ever! ALL HAIL WHITE BBQ SAUCE AND THE BROADWAY MOE’S!!!

Went here at 8:30 on a Monday night. They close at 10. Parked and walked over an icy parking lot to get here and then got inside and the owner/​manager said they had decided to only serve wings because it was a slow night. It’s just odd to me that a restaurant will just randomly decide to cut their menu down to one item. How about putting a sign on the road so I don’t have to park and waste my time walking into your restaurant only to find out you aren’t serving the barbecue that is in your name? Won’t ever be back.

So, I love the Moe’s on Parker. And it was a real struggle to find BBQ I love in Denver. There’s a lot of Kansas style BBQ here. This usually proves for great bbq and beans but I’m a huge fan of bitter greens and something cheesy with my bbq. My husband assured me that if I liked the spot on Parker, I’d love the one on Broadway. I was skeptical but he was completely right! The mac and cheese was great, the collards were great and to my surprise the grits were AMAZING. I can’t believe I ever questioned them. They’re perfect, with little bits of sausage and jalapenos and a significant amount of cheese. I’ll definitely be back. Great music too!

Great spot for a quick lunch. Pulled pork sandwich is perfectly cooked on a great bun! Make it Bama style with coleslaw and their white bbq sauce. Mac and cheese is solid, but kind of a small side. The star of the show is their jalapeño cornbread. Super dense, not very spicy, but simply delicious!
You can avoid the ribs. I added 2 as a side and was not very impressed. They are meaty, but besides that, nothing more to write about.

The place is nice — good location, plenty of space, good tvs, and clean. However, the food is quite unimpressive. I got a pulled pork sandwich with 2 sides for $ 11. The sandwich and sides were like mini versions of what I was expecting, which is the right amount of food to get me full without being overstuffed, but it’s not enough food for the price. The bbq sauce has a nice flavor, but the meat lacked flavor. The mac and cheese was just ok, and the banana pudding was really just pudding (2 vanilla wafers, no bananas at all).
Also, don’t go here on a fall Saturday expecting to watch SEC football, like the restaurant’s website advertises! When I walked in, they had a couple screens showing a CO St game and a couple showing Notre Dame. There was no SEC football at all.
All in all, the place is not bad, but really the only Southern thing it offers is the sweet tea (which is actually pretty awesome)!

Yet another place where I’m waffling between 3 and 4 stars. I usually end up here on MemDay or LaborDay with my cousin, and he treats me to a meal we take as a picnic elsewhere. The pulled pork sandwich, ‘Bama style, is my go-​to dish most of the time here. I usually get slaw (very good) and mac-​n-​cheese here (very good+), which is why I’m letting this fall into 4 star range. The BBQ itself is, as many have said, pretty average — certainly not bad though. The waitstaff has always been helpful and ready to serve; although sometimes I question the musical choices one hears in the background as they order. I may get a plate next time versus just a sandwich and sides and see how they do.

Very good BBQ food at a nice price. Love the Southern style cooking, but the hospitality doesn’t follow suit.
Comes off as lazy when you have to order with the bartender and you’re sitting at a table. There’s no servers to assist, and the last couple times I went Moe’s was out of ribs and brisket.
You’re table’s maintenence is ultimately neglected once you’ve ordered, and they are slow to clean up after guests leave.
If you go to Moes for BBQ, television and beer than you’ll be great. Just don’t have the expectation of anyone taking care of you while you dine.

It’s not bad. And despite what a lot of people seem to say, it’s not great bbq.
I’ve been here a few times, and each time I find myself saying «mehhhhhhhh.»
The food is fine, the staff is fine, but nothing blows me away. It is typical bbq, and in a town lacking in amazing bbq joints, that’s about all I can say about it.
I never come here of my own accord, but a couple friends love it, and if they want to go, I’ll tag along.

Pulled Pork Bama Style is my go-​to dish here. If more than a week or two goes by and I haven’t had this I start to get the shakes. I usually pair it with potato salad and banana pudding… I also hesitate to share this but Meatloaf Monday’s smoked meatloaf is incredible! The reason I hesitate to share is that it’s delicious, it’s popular and they sometimes run out before I make it over for a late lunch so I feel like I’m just shooting myself in the foot by telling you about it. But it’s REALLY good, so give it a try and I’ll just do a better job about getting to lunch on time.

Went and saw one of my friends bands ply which was nice, but the food was crap and I went up around 9 to order some snacks and they told me everything was done to be ordered for the night? How crappy is that, I can’t eat and watch my friends band play for another 3 hours? The service was fairly nice but everything looks old and could use remodeling.

Headed to Moe’s last minute to get some BBQ fix. Disappointed.
Ordered: Rib sandwich with two sides for $ 10.79 OTD.
I can’t get out of my mind the sensation of biting into my rib sandwich, and crunching on cartilage. Three different times. Appetite lost. Meat was over-​salted as well. Whomever is cutting the meat back there, keep more of watchful eye. Three big chucks of bad meat, let alone one, kills the whole meal and experience. Had sides of potato salad and grit cake. Grit cake was deep fried and tasty, potato salad was even keel, and the cole slaw was great, but the sandwich, very unacceptable meat cuts.
Customer service was nice, and the vibe was mellow.
Parking was plentiful with a private lot.

In a town without much quality BBQ, a place like Moe’s can do alright for a while. I certainly used to think this place was fine with reasonably priced food and a small, but well selected beer list.
But I don’t know… I’ve since have had other, better BBQ in town and don’t really think Moe’s is up to snuff anymore. And besides, they effectively raised their prices by uncoupling the drink from the combination plate. And compared to other BBQ joints, the little cups of sides are downright stingy.
The ‘bama style BBQ is also not my favorite. I prefer Texas or Kansas City. The meat here generally just doesn’t seem as tender, and fall off the bone as some other places I’ve been to. And now that there are more options in Denver (including places that do the above style more), I just don’t feel the need to come here very often.

Got a bite to eat from their food truck. BBQ pulled pork sandwich was very good but not worth $ 7. Side of coleslaw was $ 3 and very small. Not the best coleslaw but the sandwich made up for it. BBQ sauce has a unique flavor.
