wayyyy better priced than i had expected.
and from what i’m told, they are very reasonable when taking in/​exchanging clothing.
good quality pants /​shorts were like $ 7-​$ 15 ! that’s amazing!

Dropped off/​brought in items on April 6^th, and much to my dismay I have to agree with the evaluations below. The store reviewed over 200 items and deemed 85 worthy of the store, which for this I understand due to the difference in taste among clothing styles. They ran through the items so fast it was hard to understand what the criteria was, but that is here nor there. I was disturbed that the young ladies (approx 19 – 21) did not understand the value of the items I had brought in. Many items had tags on them never worn, all brand names (Ann Taylor Loft, Express among others) and gave no explanation of the pricing at all, but rather a sheet of paper which inventoried the amount of items by type with no value associated with it. A total of $ 150.00 for the items, but here is the kicker… they would have given me over $ 200.00 in a store credit… They were very curt and were is a rush. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE at ALL! As you see I was disappointed so I reached out to the owner Cherrill S. Davidson via e-​mail to inform here of my experience but she never replied and has not till this day, which I found odd seeing as she had communicated via e-​mail regarding bringing items in. I have never written a review ever but i this case I feel it is needed because I chose this business based on reviews and had a horrible experience and I wanted to share so others can be informed before they go there. Cherrill if someone wants to discuss there issues with your store you should at least respond in some manner. I did not want a refund, more money or a store credit I wanted to share information. As a business owner I would expect this is the feedback on Unilocal you never want to receive, however you have brought this on yourself. WARNING to others DO NOT GO HERE if you have any great items because this store is not worth your time.

I would highly recommend this store for teenagers and young adults primarily. Most of the items sold tend to be lower-​end and aim more for the younger clientele. (Fyi: This is not the consignment shop to go to if you are an older professional woman looking for work attire.)
That being said, I am giving them five stars for their excellent customer service and their amazing selection of designer jeans with the lowest prices in town. I found a pair of «never been wore» Seven jeans for $ 25 and Joe’s jeans (my favorite) for $ 20. Also, I have found some excellent priced Coach purses at this location as well. Not sure why the other reviewers mentioned bad customer service. I have stopped in 3 – 4 times and the salespeople have always been helpful and super friendly.

Went here today after cleaning out the closet, but left disappointed. I moved to CO from phoenix and used to sell stuff all the time for good $ at My Sister’s Closet in Phoenix, so when I saw this store I was hoping it would be similar.
It was not similar. They only took 7 items out of probably 40 some articles of clothing. Was it a style issue? Not sure as I looked around the store while I waited and checked the quality of the items on the floor which is something similar to Charlotte Russe, but used.
For the 7 items they paid out $ 14… $ 2 an item??? I wish I had done one of those online ‘swip swap events, even $ 5 a piece would have been so much better. Needless to say, I wont be back.

Always received amazing customer service here and never had a wait time. They have tons of great clothes and a great men’s selection to choose from. You guys are awsome…

This store is a great concept but horrible «follow-​thru» and THE WORST customer service I have encountered in some time. I only found out about this store a few months ago and on my first visit, I spent five minutes just walking around the store looking for any employee that could open the dressing room so that I could try on a $ 10 skirt. But it did give me a chance to look at many items they had for sale. That was when it occurred to me I should bring in some formal gowns that were taking up closet space. They were not stained, dirty or torn in any way and were nicer than some of the stuff I saw that day.
I called the store to ask about bringing something in to be looked at by a «buyer» to determine if they would take it. I was told buyers were always there and I could stop in at any time. Seemed simple enough. When I stopped in yesterday evening, I brought three dresses with me. All had only been WORN ONCE and had since been stored in plastic bags. I walked in the door with my arms loaded with these floor length gowns only to be told I needed to wait 30 – 45 minutes to be assisted. I then explained that I had called and was told I could come in at any time and didn’t need to make an appointment. The response was that I didn’t need an appointment but she was finishing up some paperwork and wouldn’t help me until she was done. WHAT? I could better understand if there were actual Customers ahead of me, but she can’t put her pencil down for 5 minutes to help a customer standing right in front of her? Before I walked away from the desk she then told me «maybe» she could be done in 20 – 30 minutes.
So, I took my pile of dresses and went to sit on the benches outside while I waited. Of course, no one came to get me, and after 20 minutes I went back inside and she was finally ready to help me. But before they would take my dresses I needed to fill out an information form including my name, phone number and email address. No problem I thought at first. She took the dresses and 5 minutes later I was called back to the desk only to be told they could not accept my dresses. Seriously? You couldn’t have determined that 20 minutes ago??? But since we would not be conducting any business, I asked to have my personal information form returned to me. She refused to give it back saying that all documents had to be «turned in» at the end of the night. No matter my objection, she would not return it. We did not do any business and I’d prefer they not keep my personal information just so they can sell it to the highest list bidder. I certainly don’t want any promo material from them.
Now, I realize my dresses are not fresh off the shelf, and I was not expecting a huge payout. I had even determined I would probably do in-​store credit to make it worth my while. But let’s be honest, this is a SECOND HAND STORE so I’m pretty sure the customers walking in are not looking for off-​the-​rack Vera Wang. And compared to the cheesy «Romy & Michelle’s High School Reunion» crap I saw hanging on their walls, mine were way more simple and classy. (Two of my dress brands: Morilee & Alfred Angelo — and I took pictures of their stuff and mine to compare) I can only conclude that the clientele they cater to are under 20 year olds, because my dresses could easily be worn by someone attending a black-​tie wedding, or a theatre production, etc. If you are over 35, do not shop here! And whatever you do, do not give them any of your personal information because they somehow think they are entitled to it even though they offer nothing in return. Talk about shady tactics.
This whole experience (combined with my first visit there) has just sworn me off of their stores entirely. I will not be back.

A co worker of mine was raving about the southlands location which i have not yet visited but is on my list!
the store is clean however it does smell like a thrift store (which i expected but i know bothers some people) lighting is a bit to dim for me.
Very organized however the selection is not very huge. Everything i looked at was no lower than 13.99 that included some target items which in that case i would just purchase new. over all i did find a cute blazer (for 13.99) that i purchased. They have a texting promotion going where they will text you discount offers weekly.
I am not going to give up on this one and try the southlands location!

Thrift shopping is not only for the ladies… there is great men’s clothing here too. Changing my wardrobe because of weight loss can get very expensive… but this place has great gently used clothing and some new clothing as well. This place has a good selection of women’s clothing also. Tip: you can join their member’s club which sends texts for discounts.
I have also donated to this place to help others find good clothing to wear for themselves. Highly recommend!!!

Eh… not very impressed. I’ve tried shopping there a few times and while they have a ton of clothes, a lot of it is cheap/​not great quality (Target brand etc). They do have a decent selection of jeans though, which is the only reason I will go there.
The people who work there are pretty unfriendly. If you want to try something on (shocker!), you have to track someone down and ask them to open a fitting room for you. Of course, a lot of stores are like this, but in those stores it is easy to find an employee and it’s not a big deal. At MBFC, you usually have to go to the cashier and ask them. And they aren’t nice about it. I’ve shopped there probably 5 times and I always dread the rude employees. They are way more focused on chit chatting with each other than being helpful to customers.
Also, it smells like Goodwill in there. But you won’t find «vintage» clothes here.
I would much rather shop at Plum Consignment (in Stapleton)… it’s clean and friendly and they have excellent quality clothes. And their prices are comparable to MBFC.

What a GREAT concept! A thrift store that organizes their clothing and only displays nicer items! I mean — I LOVE the Goodwill, but hunting for clothing is a nightmare!
This store is organized by type of clothing (business, casual, dressy), then by size (I am plus sized, so I am glad they have this) and then by color! They also have shoes and jewelry organized the same way.
I was able to get 4 tops and a ring for $ 43! What a great store!
I wasn’t greeted when I came in the store, which was fine by me because I was focused on shopping, but when I checked out the clerk apologized for not helping and explained that they were understaffed, which I thought was really nice! :)
I would say … if you’re out at Northfield, definitely stop by and check it out! I guarantee that you’ll find something you’ll like!

Brought a few trash bag of clothes/​shoes to resell here.
I had some good pieces from calvin klein, ann taylor, toms shoes, etc. It literally took them about 10 minutes to give me their final total: either $ 40 cash or $ 80 store credit. Not bad at all.
The selection of clothes they sell there are impressive as well. From rags from Target to nice Paige denim jeans, you find every single size you can imagine here. They even have a dressing room!

My all time favorite hobby is to go thrift shopping for unique, hip, vintge consignment and of course the low price for lotsa clothing! what person wouldn’t? I was walking in the Northfield Shopping Center and low and behold found a clean, modern shop. Thinking it was a regular store with cute vintage finds, but ultimately be told they’re a modern day thrift shop! HOW EXCITING!!! I rummaged through everything, slightly used clothing at its best. Some pieces of clothing had their original tags! Saaaay Whaaaa!!!
This location offers both clothing and accessories for Men and Women from sizes XS — XXL. They have children wear at other locations (Southlands). What’s really cool is that they offer to buy your clothing in exchange for cash or credit in the store. I say take the credit ;) hahaha but if you need the cash, thats good too!
Remember the store is always hit and miss. You can find fabulous finds, then some days you won’t. Upon my first visit, I cleaned out the store of a real coach bag, fake louis vuitton pouchette (i know i know the LV is fake but it was fun to buy hahahahahaha LOL), a Wilson leather jacket, BCBG pumps, London Fogg trench coat and some vintage maxi dresses. I did look thru the men section and found labels such as Ben Sherman, Penguin, and the mall brands like Abercrombie, Hollister, etc… The clothing ranges from $ 3-​$ 12 each. The jackets range from $ 15-​$ 40. And their real consignment items are from $ 39.99 — $ 299.00.
The ladies are all very kind and welcoming to any questions you may have. So start doing your spring/​summer/​winter cleaning and share your attire with the rest of Denver :)
