Love the people! Wish the shellac would last longer.

I walked in at 6:50 pm(they close at 7:30) to get my nails done and one lady asked me to sign in. As I was signing in, another lady asked me to leave and come back tomorrow because they were closed. Verbatim. I then asked her if she meant they were closed at 7:30 and she paused and then without confidence said no, 7. I just said ok, thanks and went to my car. A guy came out and knocked on my car window and tried to smooth it over and say that she meant to say what I wanted would take too long. I had to excuse myself so I could make it to the salon that greeting me very warmly and finished what I wanted in 45 minutes. Yay SALONJOA :) Not a way to gain new customers, Nail Touch vy. Thanks anyway!

First time at this place and won’t go back. My previous manicurist moved out of state. I was a walkin and needed a pink and white rebase. I know for this service it’s best to get someone with experience. The owner, Minh, said he could do it and said he had 10 years experience. After he basically spent 5 mins filing, he took me over to another gal to do my nails. I thought, okay, we’ll give it a try. Although she did her best and was nice, she had NO experience with this service, not to mention she was very hard to communicate with. I literally, after an hour and 45 mins, took the file and started filing my own nails to get the heck out of there! I’ve never done that in my life. I told the gal it was not her fault(she was trying). The owner should NOT have given me over to her as he was not busy and spent the rest of the time just overseeing the salon. He did come back over at the end to check her work, because I think he knew I wasn’t happy. I live in the neighborhood and was hoping to find my new manicurist.

Not so good. Actually, my experience was fairly bad. I got one of the gentlemen, so I can’t necessarily speak for the ladies. The leg«massage» during the pedicure could hardly be called thus… he basically just lazily moved his hands up and down my legs and my feet, it was actually more annoying than anything and I had to hold back from telling him to just stop it numerous times. He mostly seemed like he was falling asleep(and said he was at one point). He didn’t even clip my toenails until I asked him to. During the manicure, the little bowl of water he dipped my hands in actually had dirt and remnants of someone elses nail clippings in it. Nope nope. The color selection was not as extensive as I’d hoped… they favor OPI in here(which is fine, but I’m usually more of an Essie girl myself). I usually don’t get fingers done because they tend to chip quickly, so when I do I usually just get one coat of something very light. It chipped and bubbled by the next day, whereas the last mani I got in this style lasted for a long time. I would have given this place one star but the dude did suggest another similar color when a color I chose was coming out badly, which was nice and worked out better.

Very dirty. Watched them wash the pedicure tub with nothing but water after we were done. Dust everywhere. Yuck.

Worst pedicure ever. The man that did my pedicure(Khin?) kept talking about how tired he was and how his back hurt. He cut into the corner of my big toenail and it has hurt ever since. The salon is dirty and very old. Would not recommend this place at all.

I’ve gone to Nails Touch for a couple of manicures and even a pedicure or two now and I will likely keep going back. For $ 12(for the basic manicure) I think it’s a reasonable deal. The paint usually lasts me about a week. I have almost always been seen immediately without an appointment(although you can make one if you’d like.) And the ladies that work here are really quite friendly. The pedicures last a while longer. I usually go every 3 or 4 weeks for that and again, they are reasonably priced. Considering the fact that it’s close to my house in addition to all of the above it’s easy to make this my go-to manicure spot when I’m in need of a no-frills appointment.

I started going here about 6 months ago. Great service, friendly Tech’s and always welcoming me with a bottle of water. The owners are wonderful people. Mimi, recently has done my nails and did a fantastic job. The shop is always clean and bright. Thank you as it’s hard to find a great nail salon.
