Seriously, how do they get so much so much flavor in food without dairy and meat? Everything I’ve eaten here is delicious. I was made to give up dairy for breastfeeding, but Native Foods has helped me get through the cravings for cheese, especially. The prices are a bit high and takeout takes a bit too long sometimes(though online ordering is helpful), but I am a big fan and return often! In fact, these days, it’s once or twice a week!

I am not a vegan by any definition but this place is absolutely delicious. I live right by this location and the staff is incredibly friendly, you can tell they enjoy working there which makes a big difference in this industry. I have, at this point, tried most of the items on their regular menu and I haven’t run into anything I haven’t enjoyed. They also have seasonal items come up that are always delicious and their beverages are not to missed.

Large selection made it challenging to choose what I wanted to try! I really enjoyed the meatball sub! It was flavorful and memorable. The seasoned fries I got on the side were quite good as well. Not impressed with the chocolate cupcake at all. The frosting had a funky chemical taste and perhaps wasn’t fresh based on the texture of the frosting. I got my food quickly though and the employees were very sweet.

Love this place! I came here for lunch for the first time and got the Thai Meatball bowl. It was so delicious and flavorful. I am generally a healthy eater but I tend to trade off taste for nutrition. No trade off here. I will be coming back for many more days to come and try the other dishes.

I have been to this location 2 times and it was awful. I really love portobella sausage burger and thai meatball but there were awful. Burger has merely anything on it, it was just bun and lettuce. And thai meatball broccoli and red bell pepper were burnt-black and too much sesame oil in it that makes it sooooooo bitter. So i asked them to cook me another one, a waitress was telling that this broccoli was roasted, roasted veggie looks black And tastes bitter, no sorry, and she was looked irritated too. Later she was asking that if i wanted free desert, i dont want that, i just wanted to eat what i love to eat. The cook must be not good enough for native foods. You should train him. Also staff were not friendly. They were like forced to be friendly. Native foods should check the food quality and taste of this location. I will never go back there, unless it does good job as Glendale location or Boulder one. Your food taste awfully different than other location, and portion too.

A great option within walking distance of my office for something different. I’m a big fan of the menu, but it’s a little pricey. Ingredients are fresh and the staff is always friendly. They also have a good rewards program!

Love this place, but I’m extremely disappointed that my thanksgiving meal that I ordered 2 weeks ago will not have gravy, bc you guys run out of it… Yes you did offered me a meal, but I just had dinner, and there is no way I can get my own gravy done now. Disappointed.

After many visits to this location, I’m going to have to downgrade my rating. They get five stars for the food but three stars for the service, averaging out to four. The service is always super friendly but they frequently get order details wrong(i.e. Fried vs grilled chicken), the food is often slow to come out, and the condiments station is almost ALWAYS out of something — frequently this is napkins, ketchup, or ramekins(today I used a ramekin lid for my ketchup). They also start breaking down the tea and juice bar around 8pm even though they are open until 10. My biggest pet peeve though is the twister wrap. The is one of their specialties, so you’d think by now someone would have figured out how to wrap a tortilla so that its contents don’t come spilling out the other end when you pick it up. Whatever sauce you ask for is liberally applied and then pours out of the bottom of your«wrap» and soaks your once crispy fries, which of course are on the same plate as your sloppy-ass sandwich. Get these service issues fixed, management, and I’ll gladly put my five star rating back up!

Ah, Native Foods Café … makes me feel weird because I feel like I’m eating meat sometimes, and it makes me uncomfortable. BUT, it’s tasty. I recently fell in love with their seasonal Korean BBQ Sub(which is big enough for 2.5−3) and their Yo Amigo Taco Wrap(which is enough for 2). The Korean BBQ Sub does not taste«Korean», but it is packed with a whole lotta flavor(and also reminds me of a Banh Mi)! I really like the seeded baguettes that everything’s sandwiched between; it’s crunchy, yet soft and tames the crazy flavors down! The Yo Amigo Taco Wrap is tastes exactly what is sounds like: a taco in tortilla. The reason why I like this item is because there’s a bit of zing to it from the chipotle sauce, which really adds a lot to the wrap! I will say, however, that the food has been consistently on the saltier end. Not just a little bit, but as if someone spilled the salt in the food and didn’t bother to re-season kind of salty. The kind of salty that makes you want to drink water for the next 48 hours kind of salty. The salty where … Alright, you get the point, right? Salty, salty. So, perhaps, I’ll stop by another location to see if just this particular place with salt-loving cooks. Other than that, Native Foods is a nice treat to have, away from my standard steamed vegetables and fruits …

At first I was a little hesitant to try what my friends call, «hippie food» but this place was delicious. I actually ordered online about 3 hours ahead of pick up, and the process was smooth as silk. Images of the food would be nice, but having been here once before, I knew the basics. Ordered the Thai Meatballs and they were great! Maybe a little crunchy, but complimented the quinoa and the slaw nicely. I gave this place 5 stars due to customer service. I arrived 10 minutes before my order was ready and thought it’d be great to chug down some of that lavender lemonade while I waited. The total came out to be $ 3.01 and I only had $ 3. Luckily, the cashier said, «wait! I have a lucky penny!» And reached in her pocket to pull it out. I said that I couldn’t take her lucky penny, but she insisted. Hopefully some luck comes both our ways! Definitely check this place out! I’ve been delighted with their meatless flair.

Came here for dinner last night after work and it was busy, but not overly full of taking to long. We placed our order and the nice man at the counter forgot about our desserts and we said something so he gave us those and they never rang up our drinks we when asked for cups. We found a booth to sit in and never got a number for our food but that’s okay we can just wave them down. The lady came out we couldn’t tell if it was our food but she returned to the kitchen and then saw us and apologized but no big deal it’s not her fault at all. We said we didn’t receive a number and she said we were put on someone else’s ticket for the number. The staff is friendly though. The chicken bacon avocado club … Let me just say it might be my new favorite thing there ! Oh gosh for one their chicken is so amazing you would not know its fake ! Then topped with tofu bacon and fresh avocado and a great chipotle sauce ! With a side of French fries its a dream. The blueberry lemonade is one of my favorites as well I’m sad that’s it’s only seasonal. The blueberry crumble is also seasonally but it’s huge and taste so fresh and fruity almost more of a great breakfast ! The chocolate ganache cupcake is great too. It’s cold and in my opinion cake taste better cold when the frosting is cold ! It’s rich and tasty ! Overall I will be back eager to try more.

First time to this chain restaurant. Was with a friend who needs to steer clear of gluten. This place has lots of options. I was not very hungry. I felt like there were not a lot of choices for a light appetite. I had a bowl of tortilla soup and it was very, very good. My friend had a summer special that had grilled avocado and he really liked it. Great friendly service. Loved the chalk art on the walls. Very cool. If I’d had more choices for a light meal I’d have give it 4 stars

I have always been interested in vegan food since my sister-in-law and brother have become vegan. We were greeted with friendly faces and asked if we had dined with them before, my friend and I were both first timers. I had the Chicken, bacon Avo sandwich and my friend ordered the Ensalada Azteca. I was sort of bracing myself for an odd tasting sandwich, but it was not bad at all. For chicken that isn’t chicken and bacon that isn’t bacon, It was a tasty sandwich. I then decided to try my friends salad and it tasted delicious. The dressing complimented the salad very well and it’s a very light, refreshing salad. Now, I have to mention their drinks. They are absolutely amazing. Sometimes teas and fruit drinks end up being watered down or too sweet, but I could not stop drinking their blueberry lemonade. Their drinks are made from scratch daily and you can tell! On my next visit I think I will stick to a salad or try one of their earth bowls? either way, I was a very impressed customer and will be back.

I just love this place! It’s the type of place it after you’re finished with your meal feel really good about yourself and being in the fabulous state of Colorado you potentially want to go out and work out and be active. Often people eat to fill themselves rather than to fuel themselves so I find their healthy options, and gluten free alternatives awesome. They even have desserts available that I can indulge in. But a particular experience that I want to mention is how I am very pleased and thrilled by their honesty and professionalism. You see an absent-minded blonde moment I left my paycheck on the table and somehow they cross reference me through my receipt or my rewards card and contacted me through my email to let me know that they had found it and it was secured in their safe. though there may not have been any real danger or catastrophe, I appreciate the quick manner in which they reached out to me and tried their utmost to resolve the situation and get the check back in my hands! Thank you very much!

If I was vegan this place would be a total gem… However, I am not vegan, and I do not plan on becoming vegan anytime soon, and that’s not chicken!!! The service was not exceptional. We had a man helping us who just seemed blazed out of his mind. Luckily he didn’t mess up our order, but he was very out of it. After ordering the food took about 15 minutes to come out which I found to be a little long of a wait. Because Native Foods is across the street from where I work I will probably be going back. However, next time I will not be ordering any«chicken»

After numerous visits here I thought I should chime in. As a celiac with major gluten issues, I can honestly say I haven’t had any problems here, though I’ve always let them know about the condition when ordering. They communicate the allergy info to the cooks immediately and generally let a manager know as well. The GF options are pretty limited, and the Baja«Chicken» Tacos are far and away my favorite. My bf and I both tried some kind of Mediterranean bowl once that was pretty awful tasting, but all of our other meals have been good and if you’re just breaking into vegetarianism, their faux meats are about as good as they get and the staff at this location has been consistently cheerful and helpful with my questions. And DO subscribe to their loyalty program. They can look you up by your email every time you eat and it’s gotten us $ 20 in bonus point kickbacks in the past 6 months. Every little bit helps ;)

Valentine Cupcake was ok. Nothing special. Actually disappointed a bit. Bland flavor just sugary itself. Decoration is cute though. Had chocolate chip cookie as well. I am allergic to nuts so I asked one of employees there to make sure, after purchasing, for it says chocolate chip on the wrapping but the receipt says ‘peanut butter cookie’. Maybe cashier punched the wrong item button? Anyway, she said she will ask about the ingredients but she never came back to me! She passed my table on and on several times and even asked other folks– white people, everything ok or etc. Again, never to me either. Hello– am I not visible? Is this sort of racism? Not really pleasant experience. Will NOT go back this location unless they change their attitude.

I’m still trying to enjoy vegan food. I had their version of a reuben… it was oddly good, but I wouldn’t choose it over the real thing. That said, I’m intrigued and plan to return to try other things on the menu…

I was really impressed. I had a Tuscan garbanzo soup and a Thai meatball bowl. The soup was fine. The bowl was outstanding, with crunchy seitan meatballs, steamed broccoli, with kale and other vegetables served on a bed of grains with a light sweet chili sauce. I was sad when I got to my final meatball. I think there were only four of those — another one would have been nice. But the dish was really special. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had never heard of Native Foods, now I see there are three in Orange County. None are close by but I will make a trip for food this good.

Okay. I’m going to nudge up my rating. After eating there again today for lunch, I’ve decided they definitely deserve four stars. We ordered the Reuben and the seitan is really well done. We really enjoyed the potato salad as well. I still think they need to work on better salad choices and their tempeh, but they’re sandwiches are really good.
