If you’re looking for a rushed, 50 minute massage with no opportunities to maintain sustainable relationships with your therapist, look no farther than cherry creek’s New Paradigm. If the name«Massage Envy» was slapped on the front sign instead, nobody would know the difference. The spaces are overtly cramped, relentlessly cold, and the ambiance is minimal and mediocre. the music buzzes in every room, and there is scheduling discrepancies every time we go in. clients are rescheduled with minimal notice, despite their 24-hour cancellation policy for clients. the therapists are quality, but aren’t given time to talk with clients, and the therapists have no choice but to provide an impersonal approach. it’s not the place to go if you’re looking for quality. it’s not the place to go if you’re looking to treat anyone you love with bodywork. it’s not the place to go if you want to find a great therapist to help you with chronic issues. it IS the place to go if you enjoy short, distracted, one-time massages, with a possibility of your therapist being replaced within the month. it IS the place to go if you don’t necessarily appreciate long-term wellbeing, or ethical practices for therapists.

We bought a couples massage for Valentine’s Day 2013 via . The expiration on the voucher is June 18, 2013. I have been trying to schedule an appointment since mid-February, and have left many voicemails and even slipped a note under their office door requesting a contact. Now the telephone line just rings & rings with no voicemail option at all, I see from a photo on Unilocal that a new sign on their door indicates that they are closed/no longer in business, and their web site domain is no longer registered. They have three complaints registered with the Colorado Better Business Bureau. We called LivingSocial today(since the voucher expires in 3 days), and they happily refunded our voucher fee to our account, accompanied by apologies and an additional $ 5 bonus. If you have a voucher, call for a refund ASAP!

My boyfriend purchased a couples massage promotion threw amazon local which goes threw living social. I called New Paradigm for the past month trying to make an appointment, the number I called was 303)321−1200 which just rang and rang and rang. I gave them the better half and figured their line was busy or they might not be around the phone. After I called over 30 times, I finally gave up, I am assuming they closed their business down and ran with everyones money. I am hoping Amazon refunds our money, though I am very upset with the inconvenience of the hassle it has brought us.

Upon arriving for my appointment yesterday at 4, I found a note taped to the door that states they have closed for business and are«sorry». I had received no phone call notifying me of this cancellation/closure, and had left work 40 minutes early to ensure I wouldn’t be late. Very frustrating. Another couple who had arrived for an appointment had also not received a call regarding the cancellation of appointment and closure of the store. The woman(of the couple) talked to the dental office next door, who said that NPM moved out last week. Their phones are off– no voicemail or recording available. They took our money and ran!!! Very upset by this.

I had a groupon for a deep tissue massage here and I just had my massage this morning. The décor is very simple and it was easy to find parking. I saw Christine for the massage and she was great! She did have to step out in the beginning of the massage because she forgot the aromatherapy, it really wasn’t a big deal to me(we’re human we forget things). Her pressure was firm and consistent throughout the massage and she used a lighter pressure in certain areas when I asked. I had her focus on my jaw, neck, shoulders and upper back. I’m a bad clencher at night and carry a lot of tension in my jaw I usually wake up and my jaw is really sore. She worked out all that tension and worked on all the muscles associated with your jaw in the neck and upper back and I feel great! I will definitely go back.

We purchased a Groupon for the couple’s massage and called several weeks before the expiration date to schedule an appointment. The place was so booked, the first day they could fit us in was the last day we could use the Groupon! We arrived twenty minutes early for our appointment, as directed by the automated appointment reminder, but«in the interest of time,» we were urged to drink our champagne and do our foot soak while we were filling out our patient forms. Not very relaxing. After all of that rushing, our massage therapists weren’t even ready at our scheduled appointment time. We were left in the waiting room for a full half hour before I finally stepped out into the lobby to ask what was going on. Luckily, we were still given the full massage time(about 55 minutes of actual hands-on massage, with the appropriate amount of time for getting dressed). However, this was only after they mistakenly sent a male therapist to our room after we explicitly requested females. After much ado, the massage itself was not as therapeutic as I had hoped it would be. The therapist’s touch ranged from too soft(I felt like she was just rubbing lotion on me) to way too hard(I swear, I heard my bones crunching!). Also, I get massages fairly often, but this was the first time that it actually TICKLED. I left feeling relaxed(thanks to the mimosa), but without having any of my actual muscle tension worked out. Needless to say, this was an interesting experience to share with my spouse, but I’ll be happy to return to my usual massage therapist in the future.

I’ve had a mixed experience here… the first therapist I went to was awesome, then I showed up one day for an appointment and she wasn’t there — they told me she quit and they put me with someone else. The replacement therapist had a completely different style and we didn’t click at all. Since then I’ve tried a few others, some great, some okay. It happened to me a second time that I showed up for an appointment and they switched me to someone else at the last minute, which I think is inconsiderate and unprofessional. The only other issue I’ve had is that their pricing is inconsistent — it changes by the month and is always different online versus in person… not sure what’s going on there.

I’d flown into Denver to see family from Europe, which really put my body out of whack. So my sister suggested I hit up New Paradigm(she goes there) and, whew, glad I did as the massage therapist worked wonders on my back. They took me on short notice too, which was much appreciated. I’m visit Denver rarely, but if I were back in town needing a good massage I’d be back! Thanks!

I purchased a Living Social 60 minute couples massage with a foot soak and a beverage for two. I have been trying all week to make the appointment, and they have never been open between 10 and 11AM — during their advertised business hours. Finally an employee named Tory called me back, and was so incredibly rude when she declared that while regular customers get 60 minutes, the Living Social customers only get a 50 minute massage. I explained that the voucher stated a 60 minute massage, and their website claims they always give a 60 minute massage, where other businesses give only 50. She actually hung up on me, which was completely unprofessional, and I don’t even want to go to New Paradigm as they sound very shoddy.

I purchased a Living Social couples massage deal and finally used it last night. Located in an office building in Cherry Creek North area, they did a really nice job to create a warm and inviting space by decorating the wall, ceiling and relaxing music playing in the background. Our special included a glass of wine or bubbly while having a foot soak for 10 minutes before the massage. Then we were showed to the massage room for a 1 hour rub down. The massage really lasted a full hour too, not 50 minutes as is common practice with so many spas. Afterward we were given a bottle of water, free bath salts and told about special they offer online. I thought my masseur, Eric, did a great job. He listened to what I told him was bothering me. Only thing I didn’t like was the quality of sheets on the massage table. They were very itchy. Plus– free parking.
