Business Owner

An international art broker and designer for the past 40 years, Jay heralds from NYC.

In 1987 he moved to Aspen where he co-​owned and art gallery and eventually made his way to Denver. He remained in the art business at the prestigious Cherry Creek North District for many, many years and in 2002 he was involved in the home that eventually won «Colorado Home of the Year.»

In 2011, Jay decided to launch Palette Painters & Gallery 5280 Designs, LLC.

We love working with Jay and his crew. Jay has an amazing eye for color and helped us pick the perfect color for our new kitchen. His crew shows up on time, does a meticulous job, and are very respectful. We used Palette Painters for both our exterior trim and kitchen and plan to use them in the future for all our painting needs.

We had the exterior of our house painted by Palette Painters & Gallery 5280 Designs. Jay and his crew were meticulous in preparing the house for painting. Everyone in the neighbor commented on how detail oriented the crew were in painting the house. Jay and his crew were also very respectful and polite while painting the bouse. The exterior paint is better quality than the original paint and it shows. The house looks beautiful. I would not use anyone other than Palette Painters & Gallery 5280 Designs to paint the exterior or interior of our house.

Jay the owner came into my home for a consultation. He listened to what I wanted to do with my space regarding colors and patterns. He gave me quite a bit of feedback and recommendations. He was very creative with his ideas. Once I agreed to hire his company, he brought in his crew and they painted the entire first floor of my home. I have had many compliments from family and friends on the color concepts that were used. I have now referred him to several of my own clients as I can personally recommend this company from my own experience. The crew that painted was very professional and respectful of my space. I would definitely have them come back to paint again.
