Got there at 11:10 last week to get some breakfast, they said they stopped serving breakfast at 11:00. Today, got there at 10:35 and they told me they stopped serving breakfast at 10:30. Why can’t you just make me a breakfast sandwich and why can’t your employees give me accurate information? I’ve been in the food industry and it really doesn’t make that big of a difference to throw on a breakfast sandwich. As for service, some employees are very nice and some are kind of rude, especially when they give you inaccurate information.

I’ve visited this specific Panera location a handful of times. Each time I’ve visited, it seems like this location just can’t get it together. You would think with the location and traffic in the area would help with that, but I guess not. The first time I visited this location, I didn’t have the best experience. I had received a gift card around the holidays and was hoping to redeem it at the time. After my friend and I had ordered our food and it came time to pay, the cashier said that they couldn’t accept my gift card. She mentioned that their server was down(apparently only the server that processes the gift cards) and that they wouldn’t be able to accept any gift cards that day. I hadn’t planned on using any more than maybe $ 5 of my own money for the remaining balance after the card. I wasn’t satisfied with how the cashier handled the situation which was not my fault. She didn’t offer to take a percentage off of my order or anything. I’ve definitely worked in the service industry my whole life and know that she wasn’t going above and beyond to accommodate me. I wasn’t asking for my whole meal comped, but at least a 10−15% off my total would have been nice for the inconvenience. The second time I decided to return to use the gift card was a bit better, but not the best. Once again, the cashier didn’t seem like he had a clue to what was going on. He couldn’t seem to get our order correct and wasn’t very pleasant. The food was mediocre and seemed to just have been thrown onto the plate in a very ‘school lunch’ fashion. Sadly, as much as I want to frequent this location, I just can’t seem to bring myself back after the past two experiences. I hope to hear that this location gets better in the future!

Ordered a grilled cheese yesterday at my favorite Panera on Capitol Hill. Big mistake! The bread was stale and the cheese that oozed between the two slices of bread was burned almost to a crisp. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Panera. By far the worst meal. I don’t think the grilled cheese is considered a popular item… that may have been my mistake.

I’ve only been here once during a weekday lunch. The place was packed but I was impressed with how quickly the staff moved the line to order. It did take a bit to get my order but like I said, it was packed. The staff members were all super friendly and working their butts off. The food is fine — you get what you pay for.

Food is fine for the expensive prices; however the service is awful. Always a long line and they often get the order wrong. I feel like staff is too busy chatting with customers and each other, and not focused on getting there job done right. McDonalds has 2x the accuracy of this place. I love the Rapid Order option, can skip even having to deal with the staff, but the order accuracy is twice as bad then waiting in line(which I feel is on purpose).

Panera. I used to love you. But you have lost my trust and I will not be dining here any time soon. I unwrapped my turkey bacon avo BLT and ate half of my sandwich. I go to take a bite out of the other half and see something black on my sandwich. I look a little closer, and this black thing is a bug, with legs and wings. See the attached picture. You ruined my day. I had to go get something else to eat at Tony’s, where they actually use quality control.

I love Panera, but this location always leaves wishing for better. They are frequently out of things, the stuff is highly unprofessional(often acting as if they are in a bar, even hitting on customers). If you want a breakfast soufflé — you must arrive by 9:30 at the latest, and even than its a 50:50 chance they’ll have them). Placing is «rapid» pick-up order is pointless. 2 out 3 times I’ve done I ended up waiting for my order longer than people that just walked in. They say it’s 10 minutes — it’s actually around 35 – 45 minutes. My review isn’t based on 1 or 2 visits. I’ve been coming to this place for the past couple of years, but recently have been driving to more distant locations simply because this place has been getting worse and worse. Basically, this Panera needs new managers that can get the place at better organized and the workers a bit more professional. The food, however, is good.

The employees here are incredible. I’ve been going to this Panera for about 3 years as I live down the block, and while the quality of the food may fluctuate from time to time, the quality of the employees is always at five stars. Thank you for being a non-snarky, nonjudgemental establishment in Cap Hill where I can get a coffee without an attitude! This place also provides a quality environment for studying on the weekends. Thanks Panera on Grant!

Panera isn’t a place I go to a lot, but I always enjoy it when I do! I really love their soup and sandwich(pick 2) option. You get a nice sized sandwich and a good size cup of soup for a reasonable price. I love their french onion soup and their paninis are warm goodness! This location is very spacious and has lots of seating. They are quick and the food tastes fresh. A great place to go around the Capitol.

This is by far my favorite Panera location. The staff is super fun and friendly and really seem to enjoy their workplace. It gets pretty busy during lunch on weekdays so I try to get there after 1PM. Panera always has new menu items and I am always satisfied with their products.

I LOVE Panera Bread! I LOVE Panera Bread! I LOVE Panera Bread! I have over 40+ check ins here. I LOVE Panera Bread! I love their food, breakfast or lunch, you can’t go wrong! What do I like… let me see… I Love their Power Breakfast Sandwich, the one with ham, egg, and cheese. They will even«personalize it,» and make it without the cheese! After all, I have to watch my weigh! LOL! This sandwich will«hold you» for several hours in the morning, until you are ready for a mid-morning snack! What else… I love their quiches too! Yummy, and small enough to help you not feel«guilty,» you know what I mean. I LOVE their bagels, especially the cinnamon crunch one! Oh My Gosh, you feel like you are eating more than a bagel, you are eating absolute mouth-watering yummy deliciousness! Lunch — I don’t have one specific favorite, I have bunches! I love their soup– each one taste homemade, down home goodness! I will have the«Pick 2.» This is the cup of soup, and a sandwich. Now, don’t get me started on their sandwiches! I LOVE their sandwiches and their paninis! There is the tomato and mozzarella panini, the chipotle chicken panini, the frontega chicken panini is wonderful!, and so many more! They have freshly baked bread and other wonder-licious pastries too. Their cobblestone muffin — don’t even get me started! LOVEIT!!! Their are also salads too! OHMY! Why would you go anywhere else!?! And to help you out, Panera now has order ahead, all yo do is order on-line for delivery or rapid pickup, Why go anywhere else? I really DON’T know!

Five years ago was the last time I hit up Panera. Now I remember why. .. . My honey and I went to a neat dive bar by accident a couple of nights back(don’t ask:). Started talkin’ to the owner who was a great guy, and stayed late. As we were leaving we had a long conversation about chocolate chip cookies and he mentioned that he liked the chocolate chip muffin tops they serve at Panera. This morning when I passed by Panera on an errand I remembered the conversation and stopped in for that much-touted muffin top. Well, that bar owner and I might share the same taste in beer, but not in muffin tops. No thanks, Panera. I think I’ll find my muffin tops elsewhere. Yours truly, David«Muffin Top Muncher» M.

For a chain, Panera does a good job of trying to maintain the stability in the food which made other chains so profitable whilst still having an air of a more regional or local joint. Overall I enjoy my trips and meals with this bakery/restaurant.

I live in the building connected to Panera and I cannot express to you how many times I’ve been tempted by the smell of baked goods wafting through the lobby. I often come down here when I run out of coffee in my apt or want iced coffee but am too lazy to walk more than 50 yards to get it. The coffee isn’t spectacular but it’s drinkable. On par with Dunkin Donuts, minus all the flavorings. The food is decent too, I prefer their breakfast items. Cinnamon crunch anything is bound to be good. I used to love their Broccoli Cheddar soup but I’ve had it recently and it wasn’t as good as I remembered… I don’t know if it’s the recipe that changed or my taste buds. The french onion soup was kinda disappointing too but I should’ve seen that one coming. Overall, I mostly just find myself here out of convenience but if it’s convenience you’re looking for, this isn’t the worst option.

I feel like I’ve run into a streak of NOT topnotch service in Denver recently and Panera Bread definitely did not disappoint in this light. As a resident in downtown Denver, I would say the one hiccup to absolutely loving my building & location is the lack of food essentials. How is there not a Panera Bread in walking distance to 16th Street!?! Nonetheless, I had a hankering for Vermont White Cheddar Mac & Cheese and only one place does it right… So I got in the car and drove to the 13th/Grant location of Panera Bread. During my visit — I truly only had two complaints… The associate who QUIETLY called the names of customers to retrieve their order and the other associate packing up the to-go orders. Needless to say, these two associates were terrible displays of customer service and worked hand-in-hand… which may have constituted the overall terrible customer at this location! I witnessed the one kid calling out names as if Panera was located in the middle of a Library and THEN had the audacity to argue with the customers when they didn’t hear him! When we got our food, the Caesar Salad was on its side and in between a hot Panini and a large order of Mac & Cheese. Possibly hire better students?

By far the worst Panera experience I’ve ever had. I’m a sales rep who does a lot of catered events around the country and I always use Panera. On this occasion, I was unable to order by internet so I had to call. Lets start with the call. The kid who answered the phone spent 5 – 10 minutes arguing with me about whether they were the closest Panera to the company I needed the delivery made to. After finally proving to him that they were, he took my order and yet again argued with me about what I wanted(pretty simple, 15 box lunches of a variety, cookies and a variety of drinks) delivered at 11:00 am. Today, the food was delivered 15 minutes early and I was not there yet. The drinks were not delivered and the lunches were not boxed, they were all individual sandwiches, a big box of pickles that people had to reach into to get, knives only for the silverware. I was so disappointed by this branch. I will never use them again nor would I recommend them to anyone. That being said, the local company that they delivered, too will also not use them again(and they have in the past).

Carbs-a-plenty. What do you expect from a business with BREAD in its name? At least you know what you’re getting yourself into. The salads are pretty decent as well but with everything they add on top I wouldn’t call it healthy. Still, this place will do in a pinch. The location of this store is its best asset and also its biggest downfall. When the downtown lunch crowd hits there is always a long wait. The physical set up is a bit cramped in the area where you pick up your meal. It’s right by the drink fountain so lots of people just mill around waiting for their name to be called. However, there is always plenty of sitting space — it’s actually a huge place. I find the food to be a tad over priced for what you actually get. Then again, this is the middle of the city so jacked up prices are to be expected. More times than none I opt for a simple sandwich — the turkey bacon is really good. Otherwise a bagel in the morning will do you right. At least they are fresh. Never had any problems with the employees who usually seem nice. The patrons can be fun when you listen in on their dismal conversations. Remember that project in Communications class when you had to observe a conversation at a public place? Well this is the best place to do it cuz you will hear some whoppers! Only when I’m in the mood for carbs do I come to Panera but at least I know exactly what I’ll get.

I’m not anti-Panera in general. It is what it is… a sandwich shop chain, interchangeable with Atlanta Bread Company and Corner Bistro. I am, however, a little put-off because of this particular Panera’s service. I thought it was just me coming in at odd times right before they close super early(7:30pm) for dinner or first thing in the morning when the staff was cranky. But, on Saturday, we went for the first time and took our friends’ 2 ½ year old. We ordered three meals and went to sit outside. When I came back in to get the food, I asked if there was a tray to carry everything back outside. I was greeted with no. I then went to try and pick everything up myself. The staff watched me do this, staring straight at me, without offering to help. Then I headed to the door, a staff member walked right by me without even offering to get the door for me. Luckily, a nice fellow patron offered. Not cool.

I had been to this Panera bread location for couple of times. It is closer to my work place, so I had been there for lunch. They have ample seating and the staff is friendly and service is excellent. The wifi is good and there is a time limit of 30 minutes during the peak hrs. Every time the taste is consistent and the food is fresh and they maintain the quality. I liked the tomato &mozzarella Panini… toasted perfectly and tastes superb and I am a big fan!!! Soups — cream of chicken and rice… its tasted yummy, but they serves on limited days only. Creamy tomato soup topped with croutons… The soup is very hot and taste excellent.

Some places are a bit too convenient for their own good. Panera for example is right in between by apartment and work, providing the perfect location for before-work working and lunch working. It has free wi-fi(though annoying restricted during prime lunch hours) and decent enough coffee and treats to keep you energized. The staff is nice and the food is just ever so slightly overpriced that you don’t realize until you see from your bank statements just how much was spent here. I’m not the only one who feels this way. If you want to know what the important to know people are doing, just eavesdrop on the myriad conversations of the rich and powerful at this Panera. It’s located less than a block from the capitol and power brokers power brunch and lunch and breakfast like no one’s business(but their own of course). Why wouldn’t they? Panera sure is convenient.
