The first time Young cut my hair it was a little short but okay. The second and LAST time I asked her to take off ONE inch (it had been 4 months since my last haircut) around chin length. Instead she took off at least 2 ½ inches a little below my ears, it doesn’t turn under well anymore and the back is barely an inch long. I didn’t realize how butchered it looked as my eyesight is poor, until I got home. She did say several times, «It’s pretty short» but I trusted her to follow the length instructions I had given her. Never again!

Young is the best! Her prices are very reasonable and I always get a good cut and color! I can’t believe some of the reviews on here. I have sent several people to her and they are wowed by her too! Everywhere I go people come up to me and ask me who does my hair. While I often keep it trimmed myself — Young is the best at getting my hair professionally done. I have to believe some of the reviews about her are absolutely incorrect or over-​dramatized.
I highly recommend Young and it looks like Shannon is great too, although I have never gone to him.

I have gone here twice now and will not go anywhere else going forward. Young was my stylist both times. They really take care of you and are very skilled at what they do. Received huge compliments on my hair cut and color. I highly recommend this salon.

I recommend here to see shannon, and I was very pleased. My cut, color and highlights were prefect. He took his time and made sure I was happy. The price was a little expense but after seeing the results … worth it! !

After reading the reviews, I went here and requested young. I would give her 5 stars for the cut and 0 stars for the color. I cut 10 inches off and went with a super short style. She did great with the cut. The color is another story. She kept saying how great a color it was. When I got outside and saw it in the natural light, it was orange not blonde. When I tried to talk to her about it, she refused to give me a refund and told me she would charge me to fix it. I would have gone back every month for a trim if she had just refunded my color. Instead I had to go elsewhere. No way was I going to go back to have her screw up the color again. Use caution when going here.

Young has been cutting my husband’s hair for many years and he thinks she’s the best. So I decided to try her salon «Perfect Cuts». It is a spotless, stylishly decorated salon. I was really pleased with my haircut. Young did a great job! She offers an array of services at competitive prices. I’ll be back!

I love Young! I always ask for her specifically. I have short, thick hair, and every salon I’ve gone to, no matter how much I told them ‘I’m trying to grow it out’, would hack away, like they were doing me a favor. And a poor hacking job at that. I have short hair, and no one does it so nicely like she does (especially because my hair has a tendency to make a «wave»). I’ve been stopped and complimented about my hair quite a few times.

Do NOT go here. They can do either good or very bad. They will mess up your hair and then yell at YOU as if you had done the wrong, then tell you that they won’t fix it ‘for free’. They also misquote and overcharge — BEWARE. Once I was quoted $ 40 and paid over $ 80. Another time a girl messed up my hair and she quoted me $ 40 TO FIX HER OWN MISTAKE and then charged $ 120! Then she ruined it AGAIN and would not fix it… then she yelled at me (literally). That was Yasmin.
Sometimes the staff is great, but all they care about is the bottom line — not your hair or the customer! You can show an EXACT PHOTO of what you want and they do something totally different! I spent $ 250 and lots of tears there before I had to go somewhere else to have it done. Do NOT get your hair done there! It’s my fault for letting them touch my head again but like I said, they can be great or terrible. Don’t take your chance. Spend your money where people know what they are doing and will stand by their work.
