Absolutely delicious! I had the beef kebab twice and it was wonderful both times. My MIL had the gyro; also very good. A restaurant that doesn’t try to be anything else but what it is, serving simple, well executed food. They deliver within a three mile radius, which is very convenient. The baklava wasn’t my favorite; however, the rest was so good, I don’t care.

I used to order delivery from this place for a big, cheap tub of sub-par hummus. You got a lot of it and a very decent amount of pita. I also liked their fried mushrooms, though I thought they were a bit over priced. Tonight’s order was mushrooms and hummus. What I learned: they cut the fried mushroom portion by about half without lowering the price. The hummus is somehow even more watery and flavorless than it used to be, and you get half the pita. Won’t order again.

Went here recently with a friend for some shisha and a bite to eat. We sat in the hookah half of the establishment so we could have both at the same time. The hookah is good, and they have a very wide range of flavors available to smoke. The pipes are clean, and they’re brought to you fairly quickly, and they take care of the coals etc like a good shisha place should. Music plays in the background all day, but gets a bit too loud later on at night. It’s open during the afternoon, which makes it a great spot if you want a place to hang out and do homework or read or visit with friends during the day. Five stars on all of that! Had a vegetarian combination while there. It was standard fare, not bad, but not the best I’ve had in the area, either. Probably a 3 star in this case, which is good enough when you’re hungry and want something quick The only real ding I have against the place was the bathroom. Compared with the rest of the establishment, it stuck out like a sore thumb. The restaurant and hookah area are well put-together, decorated and painted a nice color. The bathroom wasn’t very good: poorly-stocked, no paper towels, no paint job, rudimentary plumbing, unswept, etc. It was clean enough though, so two stars on the john. So, depending on why you want to go here, you can choose for yourself. If you want to go for hookah, I’d say absolutely yes go! For food, yes go if it’s close to where you are, though you may want to go elsewhere if it’s a longer commute. The bathroom isn’t so great, but it’s serviceable enough, but if you’re a squeamish type, you can skip it.

Gross!!! All around horrible. Delivery was an hour late, food was cold and even heated up; it was gross. Want some advice??? Order through POSTMATES& Pete’s Kitchen. Get your food on time, be satisfied or your money back. GrubHub and Pita Grill & Hookah is a fail and waste of time. I hope you take my advice!

Don’t like this place at all, manager is a little boy who doesn’t understand how to admit to his own mistakes. And I witnessed him yelling, no, screaming, at an employee, a woman nonetheless, over i dont know what but I thought it was really uncalled for and unnecessary. And then to make it better when she sought helo from someone else i overheard him say he didnt do it. And no one should ever be treated that way. I don’t treat people that way… ever. I never would, and if I did I’d apologize like a man instead of trying to lie like a little girl. food here is good, hookahs are fine, but the treatment of the employees is not okay, I don’t support businesses where someone is that heartless and unaccountable. Be careful how you treat people it might come back to haunt you later. The other manager is actually a man and doesn’t yell at women, so continue to support the business just because he doesn’t deserve to be screwed over. I’m sure you could guess which is which. One is really nice and one is really really scummy. And if you can’t tell take a look into how you read people because from day one of going there i knew. Also getting paid 5.00 an hour isn’t okay. That’s below waitress pay… and pretty sure that’s illegal? But I’m not a lawyer so I don’t know.

Just stopped by for a quick bite before a show at Ogden. We ordered the hummus, taboulii, and a Turkish coffee and everything was delicious.

I have ordered from this place twice. The first time I ordered the gyro combo, veggie pita wrap combo, and hummus. Everything was delicious and delivery was on time. The second time I ordered, I got the vegan combo platter. Half of what is supposed to come in it was not there. I’m sorry but if I’m paying $ 16 for this, put everything in it. It was missing the grilled veggies, baba ghanoush, edamame, fried tomatoes, and okra. How do you miss that many items in a combo? The hummus and pita bread were awesome. The grape leaves were disgusting but it was my first time trying them and knew I might not like them so that’s not on the restaurant. The falafel was terrible. I really like falafel. This was disgusting. The salad was a normal salad and tasted fine. I will still order from here again because I liked what I got the first time. But I will definitely be sticking to that order from now on.

I haven’t been this disappointed by a dinner in a long time. I ordered delivery and yes, I ordered late, but that was the appeal of this restaurant. Ordered a buffalo falafel sandwich for the husband, hummus to share, and a shawarma plate for me. He said his sandwich was fine. The hummus… was just strange. Seriously, the weirdest taste. You get a great sized portion, but it’s just not good. I have no idea what type of chicken I got, but it is unlike any shawarma I’ve ever eaten. Not a good flavor, but a good portion, served on a bed of lettuce that was already turning brown. The grilled veggies were a slice of tomato, a vertical slice of bell pepper, and a few hunks of onion. Rice? Nowhere to be found. The garlic dip was the one redeeming feature of my meal. Well, that and the pita. To conclude, I will pretty much never get food here again. At least the delivery guy got a good tip out of me before I saw the food.

Really enjoyed myself here, the place has new management and they were very accommodating for me and my friends. I arrived with three male friends and they put together some couches for us to sit on. One of my friends is a hookah aficionado and asked many questions, we got one hookah for about ten dollars and some Moroccan tea with sugar and honey — it was soo sweet and delicious. We all agreed it was some of the best tea we had tasted, and got another pot and asked for just honey cause it was very sweet. The tea came with a beautiful intricate teapot and decorated cups as well. Kareem, who works there, sat down with us and told us some stories about Morocco. He also told us if we same back he would make a hookah out of some fruit which sounded cool, and shared some interesting hookah tips like adding lemon to the water. We had a really nice, relaxing time and it was good to find a place that stayed open so late, until 1 am. We will be back when we have friends in town, I don’t smoke hookah frequently but this place has the perfect vibe and you can tell they are trying to make the place better. I liked the ceiling pattern, and will be back to try the food in the second room and to partake in some more hookah of course.

After waiting an hour and a half for delivery, on a Tuesday, the food arrived wilted, soggy and flavorless. By far the worst Greek /Mediterranean food I’ve ever had.

I was a little hesitant to order as I saw previous comments, but I feel new management did an excellent job. My order initially said 45 to 65 minutes and it arrived in 35 minutes on a Saturday night at 8pm. Food wasn’t bad either. Few corks, bread was a little stale and the soup didn’t really have much taste, however the Gyro was excellent. Alltho, I dont think it was worth $ 14.00 dollars a plate. I probably won’t pay that much for the plate again. I feel $ 8 to $ 10 is more likely fit. Overall not too shabby.

If you are a legitimate Hookah smoker this is the place to go. I traveled here after being very disappointed and actually grossed out by gypsy house café(a mile away) They have a great selection and super nice employees. The woman there who helped me(dreads with glasses) was so helpful and knew her stuff! You can tell she loves her job. I’m docking one star only because the ambiance needs some love. This is one thing Gypsy House Café has that this place doesn’t. They lighting is bad and the furniture isn’t good. They need better couches and seating areas. It feels too Miami Vice and not so much Casablanca. Get on Craigslist and find some cool vintage stuff, guys! Make me want to stay and hang out, not smoke and leave.

If you are looking to lose a few pounds fast, have the next few days off to spend on the toilet, and you like your hummus stone ground in an ashtray… I recommend the food from Pita Grill & Hookah. Don’t do it!

The food is decent, but you should order 2 hours before you think you might be hungry because they are soooooo slowwwww every single time. Seriously… I live 0.4 miles away from them and I’ve never gotten my food hot. Lukewarm at best. They could do much better for themselves if they’d get their delivery act together. Until then I’ll just call Jimmy John’s.

This review is for the restaurant side of the business, as I haven’t visited the hookah side in years. The first time I came for dinner with a friend, everything was a-okay. The waitress was enthusiastic and engaging, the lentil soup was some of the best. But holy crap. I have since come back two more times. On my second visit, the wait for food, though we were the only dine-in customers, was around 40 minutes without an apology or warning. Thinking that may have been a fluke, my boyfriend and I went there around 9 the other night and were once again the only customers on the restaurant side. We were told the food would be just a few minutes and waited. And waited. And waited. After a full hour had passed with no water refills or any real explanation we got up and asked the kitchen how much longer it would be. When they shortly answered that«it is coming along,» a man who seemed to be the manager came up from the hookah side, told us that if we «don’t like it,(we) should leave.» The unprofessional manner in which this so-called restaurant is run is appalling. We waited for an hour, got nothing, and then got kicked out for complaining.

Ordered delivery on a Tuesday late night and it took over an hour to get here with a $ 3 delivery charge. my salad was drowning in dressing and the gyro was bland. My mozzarella sticks had nice flavor but were cold :/the grape leaves were the best part of the meal. the banana shake had great real banana flavor but had too much sugar added. The food was lacking flavor. This was not a terrible experience but I will not eat from this restaurant again. Edit: I don’t know what I was thinking but for some reason I decided to order here again. My gyro had a ton of dirt(that’s right, dirt) in it. I nearly threw up and have been psycho freaked out by lettuce ever since.
