Red’s Towing, Inc.

So rude. He blocked an entire road and then didn’t apologize or even acknowledge that I was there waiting to get through. When I called the company to complain about their rude driver they said it was an emergency vehicle. I could see that if there were an actual emergency, but some dude’s car dying outside his house and off the street isn’t a good reason to block all of traffic and be a jerk about it on top of it.

Had my car dropped off at my mechanics shop. His lot was full and had to move cars to get my car in the lot. The driver was very rude and obnoxious to my mechanic. I understand he has other jobs, but their was no reason for this behavior! I wouldn’t use this company again even if they paid me!

This is my second run-​in with Reds in 3 months, first one I paid for, they were 45 min late, they smashed my gas tank loading my car, then the topper was the driver trying to take a picture of my car on the flatbed, but he couldn’t figure out how to do that and wasted 20 min of my mechanic’s time. The second was through USAA and they left me stranded for 3 hours, kept lying to me about their arrival, when they finally showed up the driver was very curt and short with me, although did no damage to my car.

Terrible terrible terrible! Got in a car accident, they were supposed to tow my car. They came 15 minutes before they told my ETA. The dispatcher was extremely rude, I showed up and the driver was just as rude. I signed the tow authorization and then the tow truck driver drove away. They refuse to give me my signed authorization back and have been rude.

The dispatcher was completely rude. She actually hung up on me as I was asking a question. I will never do business with this P.O.S company again.

They hire punks that threatened my 75 year old father!
I was leaving to take my dad to his doctor appointment and came out to find truck number 117 blocking my driveway so we could not leave. The driver was leaning up against his truck like he was waiting for someone and not in the middle of work. My father asked him if he could kindly back up the truck two feet so we could get out of my drive. He flat refused and then began to verbally abuse my father. I called the number on the truck to speak to someone in the office and he was rude and told me he didn’t have to move and hung up on me. I then looked over and noticed this punk ass driver was in my fathers face. I stepped in between them because I thought he was going to attack my dad meanwhile I am calling 911 for help.
The driver after seeing me call the police quickly began loading up the car he was going to tow and took off before the police arrived. I called the office after all of this was over and got no where with them

Insurance company set up the tow, and gave them the wrong address. When they called and I corrected them, they were rude, any attempts to try and smooth things over were ignored. When they arrived at the right address they were rude, and distant. I will never use their services again and will be alerting the insurance company of their poor service.

Today I was paired with Reds towing through my USAA roadside assistance and it was okay. The driver was respectful and offered me a seat in the air conditioned truck while I waited for him to hook my car up onto the truck bed. When we got to the repair shop, he was kinda short with the staff because he couldn’t find a spot to drop my car off, but I understand that he was in a rush to get to his next call. In that line of work, time really is money I suppose. Overall I feel like my needs were met and if I were in another emergency situation, i would trust the company to transport my car to my local repair shop.

I called on a Sat afternoon, driver was super friendly. Waited only 45 mins from my Allstate roadside assistance call. I was with friends so did not go with my car, big mistake. I have been using Moutianview Garage on Pearl street for 4 yrs so I know the layout of the parking lot. I told the driver where the key drop was & just put my last name on envelopes they guys will know from my voicemail what needs to be done. Well, Monday morning I get a call from Mike, he is very concerned cause my car was left unlocked, keys on front seat & my new stereo was professionally removed. I called Reds & they said it was not possible, send them a letter of concern. I filed a complaint with my insurance agency & will never use them again. I sent my letter with receipts & never heard a word from them.

This service deserves 0 stars. Tow truck never showed up. Don’t support this business.

One of my coworkers had a dead battery and their insurance called Red’s Towing to jump his vehicle in our company parking lot. Upon arrival, the tow guy was super rude. He refused to jump his hybrid because hybrids aren’t «real cars.» And that he would only help a man who drove a «real car.» After the third rude comment, we basically asked him to leave. My coworker then called the tow company’s office to complain and ask for someone else to help him and the woman was INSANELY rude. We are completely mystified how they are still in business, especially after reading these other reviews.

I have my tires missing too my car was there in 2012 and I had the same problem a different types of tires

Word of mouth is the best free advertising a good (not this one) company can have… getting caught ripping off a customer. Hurray to the Gal and Fox 31 for exposing the poor mange/​ownerr of this company! Step up and be a man, and cover her tires instead of threating letters from lawyers! Evidently you were never taught morals, values and ethics!!! hurray again to Fox 31 and Heidi…

I knew way before this report about the lady having her tires stolen that this was a horrible company. I seriously have no clue how they are in business still. I’ve known several people who have worked for them and because of their shady business dealings left them for more professional companies. The company is managed by crooks I hope this story is enough publicity to take them under. A few years back they got in trouble for illegally towing people’s cars from the wrong lots. This place is horrible and has always been run by people who are only out for themselves finiancially. alot of drivers for them are good honest people and those are the ones who don’t last because they see the bad dealings and theft that goes on there and leave.

After seeing the news report and how they treated their customer I’ll never use them.

You guys should have just came clean and admitted the tires were on her vehicle when it arrived, now you can enjoy all the bad publicity.

I was paired up with Red’s Towing through my insurance roadside assistance. I was having car trouble and needed a tow to a local mechanic. The tow driver (I think Mike was his name) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My truck was having problems getting into gear; the driver recognized this problem and helped fix it. I hope I don’t have to use them again because its no fun being broken down. But if I do find myself in a jam needing a tow I’ll definitely call Red’s!
