I’ve owned my Vespa for 10 years and never have I been happy with any service until I used Rolling Wrench. Matt addressed ALL of my issues and my scooter runs as good as new. Prompt, knowledgeable and on time. He actually came out to replace my spedo cable in the rain! The tuneup was much more comprehensive then the other shops in Denver I have tried and it was cheaper. He also enjoys showing you how to fix issues on your own. My new go to scooter mechanic form this point on.

Matt really cares about his reputation and so gives extremely excellent service. I have been to 2 other repair shops and they never seem to have fixed the problem. Plus, one of the places was really sketchy. Matt came out again when the battery died! it’s hard to know Whom you can trust these days and I am a very skeptical person, but Matt’s real goal is to keep all his clients for years by building a solid reputation for quality service. The first post was from a couple years ago, it just didn’t show up until today. I’ve continued to use these guys regularly since then. So awesome!!! Matt and Tia are amazing at what they do! Matt always does top notch work and is super patient with questions everyone in the Denver area who rides a scooter needs to know about these guys!

Matt is a stand-​up guy and went out of his way and beyond expectations. He is a skilled scooter guru and complete professional. After several attempts to isolate the problem, Matt made sure they got it right; now we are back on the road, saving money on gas and taking advantage of «movie star parking» as much as we can. We hope more people will support a young entrepreneur and his environmentally relevant business.

Matt and his team are awesome and I’m planning to be a lifetime client. Sometimes the best way to know about a business is when things don’t go perfectly. I learned that Rolling Wrench is there when you need them and they earned my trust, appreciation and respect.
My Vespa had been sitting all winter and I contacted RW when it was having trouble starting. They came out and troubleshot it in less than a minute so I decided to also do a quick tune up. They got my scooter up and rolling and took it for a few turns around the parking structure to make sure. Everything was running great and I buzzed it on a quick errand and then parked it.
The next day I took it for a series of trips and after about 20 – 30 minutes it just stopped on me. After a few tries I got it started again and then a few minutes it did the same thing, then again, and again. Eventually it wouldn’t start.
This is where my story explains why I will ONLY use Rolling Wrench in the future. I contacted Matt and explained what was happening and where I was stranded. Within a half an hour he had one of his team at my site trying to get me on the road again. The gentlemen who came out was friendly, helpful, and worked his tail off trying to get it back up and running for awhile with periodic check ins with Matt on his phone. When it looked like the issue might be bigger than a roadside fix we figured out a way to get it to back to their location and he kindly dropped me off.
Matt and his team then dug into my scooter and kept trying every different item that it might be. They kept me posted all along the way. It turned out to be a very very unusual issue that only occurred when the engine heats up enough. We ordered anew part, got it fixed, they tested it a ton to make sure, and I got it dropped off at my doorstep. They did an incredibly fair price for everything stating that they always stand behind their work, which was FAR more than any experience I have had with the big boys around town. The reality is the time they spent digging into this issue to find what was wrong was above and beyond what they needed to do based upon just a service call.
I had only done a basic service with Rolling Wrench, and then when things got MUCH more complicated and not the ideal scenario their whole team was heroes. They came and rescued me and my Scooter on the side of the road, they went above and beyond to diagnose a very uncommon problem, and treated me more than fairly in pricing. I am sure they spent way more time on this repair than anyone expected, but they stood behind their work in every way.
It is so rare that a business is this exceptional. I’ll be happy to continue working with Matt and his team and I can’t recommend Rolling Wrench enough. This is an honest, skilled, hardworking team. They stand behind their work, and my experience is an example of just how seriously they are committed to those customer guarantees.

I have never had such amazing bend over backwards customer service from the entire team that completely over-​hauled my Yamaha 650 classic and really turned it into exactly what I wanted. I have never been more impressed I will not be going anywhere else. You can not beat the price and the customer service is unparalleled.

Wow– what an unexpected treat! Nick from Rolling Wrench came today and got both my Vespa and Twist and Go Scooter running in a couple of hours. He called to confirm the appointment, came when he was scheduled and did a thorough job. In the past, I would have had to figure out how to get the non-​operating vespas to the shop – more money and more headache. Good value– I found my receipt from my last service two years ago from Erico and Rolling Wrench’s bill was the same. I highly recommend Rolling Wrench. Nick’s boss, if you’re reading this, he should get a raise! He was wonderful.

Nick Rocks!!! What a FANTASTIC concept and KICK A$$ service! It’s the perfect answer to not having a viable way to get your scooter to a shop. Yes you pay more, but it’s worth it! Nick was friendly and knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process and really took care in finding and fixing the problem with my Lance scooter. I would recommend them time and time again. I called Rolling Wrench based on the positive Unilocal reviews. They did not disappoint! During my initial phone call I was told the soonest appointment was nearly a month out, but they would call if they were able to fit something in sooner. I decided the convenience would be worth the wait and scheduled my appointment. To my delight they were able to fit my appointment in just a few days after I called. Matt arrived to tune up my Honda Metropolitan. He diagnosed and corrected a problem with the air filter then changed the oil, checked and corrected tire pressure, and performed a number of other tweaks. He was done in less than an hour and my 7 year old scooter rides like new! Impressive! I will certainly call Rolling Wrench in the future for scooter maintenance!

Matt came out today and upgraded my TaoTao 50 with the 80cc kit. While working on it he suggested an uprated cam and changing the vacuum tubes. The difference is amazing — worth every penny. Matt was friendly, quick, precise and very knowledgeable about everything to do with my scooter. After he finished he took a look at my wife’s TaoTao 150 and adjusted the brakes and fixed a rattle.

Matt is fabulous. Courteous and professional. Came right to the house. Repaired my starter and gas key when they were lost. I’m getting to have them so a mini service come spring. Would use RW again and again.

My experience was pretty much consistent with everyone’s — Matt is awesome. Came to my house when I was not home, fixed my Scooter. I have a Kymco People that never started up when it was cold, and honestly I only have to kick it once/​twice in 10 degree weather now and presto — it works.
I feel like the service from Matt is better than what you’ll get from Sportique or anywhere else. This guy cares and wants your business.

Matt came out and met me downtown by my office and was great. Very professional and very thoroughly explained things and made suggestions but was not pushy at all in a sales type way. I don’t think it gets any more convenient than someone coming to meet me at work, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s incredibly friendly.
Did the mini service plus a few extras on my Buddy 50 and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a tuneup.

These guys are great and it was defiantly worth the two week wait to get them out to my scooter! Jeremy took great care of my ride and was very helpful with telling me and showing me what was wrong and how to maintain my scooter! I had RW come out to my work and service my Honda Metro which needed a tune-​up and was running a bit slow. The tech walked me through everything he was doing and we decided to change the roller weights to give it a little more acceleration. Unfortunately I wasn’t satisfied with the results and called in to see if there were any options. Matt (the owner) came back out and personally made sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. The prices are definitely on the high end but the level of service is basically impossible to beat. I’m a happy customer!

Rolling wrench has been amazing from start to finish. The fact that Matt comes out to you and helps explain every minor detail as to why things may not be working properly is awesome. Even when my scooter was up and running Matt made sure it was running to his liking. Every dollar that went into my scooter was very well spent. After a disaster of a time buying a new scooter (chinese knock-​off type, that arrived with some problems, walked it across town to the one shop that was willing to look at it, walked it back home when they weren’t comfortable trying to figure it out, and just feeling defeated) I found Rolling Wrench.
The shop recommended Rolling Wrench to me, as they have experience with ‘off-​brand’ scooters. Turns out they were right.
Matt came out to my place with his cool set up in his little smart car. Seems that Matt has worked on anything with two wheels (and happens to own several scooters, including my exact model!) He immediately zeroed in on the problem, had all the parts (including a brand new battery, that I really needed) and topped it all off with changing out my fluids and a few other small but important upgrades and a ton of education. This guy rocks!
Matt was very aware of my time and money — as he always outlined any cost of a part, and seemed genuinely interested in making it a good deal for the both of us. He worked very fast but took the time when I had any questions and tried to give me a quick education on taking care of my new machine.

If you have a motorcycle or scooter, these are the people to call. I bought a 150cc scooter from a friend and it had a lot of repair problems. Jake came out, tuned it up, fixed the problems, and caught a few things that a less thorough mechanic wouldn’t have caught. Jake is really friendly, the service is extremely affordable, and they come to you which saves you the trouble of towing a broken down bike. Thanks guys!

LOVE this place! It is so fantastic that they come to you to repair or maintain your motorcycle — or, in my case, scooter. Because when something isn’t quite right, I really don’t want to try to ride my scooter the 10 miles to take it to the dealer.
Matt came out a couple of years ago to do begininng of season maintenance on my scooter. He was so great and took the time to try to show me how to do everything on my own in the future (even though I knew it wasn’t going to stick and I’d much rather leave it to the professionals). This year, Jake came out for beginning of season maintenance and he was just as great as Matt. You really can’t go wrong with either one of them. And, as a single woman, I felt comfortable having both come to my house, which is very important.
It can take a while to get an appointment if it’s a busy time of year. For example, this year when I called the first available appointment was 3 weeks out. But, they will call you if there’s a cancellation and get you in as soon as they possibly can. In my case, it did take the full 3 weeks, but again, it’s worth it as opposed to dealing with the hassle of getting my scooter to the dealer.
Prices are very reasonable. In fact, I think prices are even less than going to the dealer. And, if you check in on Unilocal there’s a 15% off coupon, which is very cool!
Roll on, Rolling Wrench! I’ll be contacting you every year. Next year I’ll just call earlier in the season.

This is a cool concept… passionately executed with class.
Matt and his wife own and operate this small mobile motorcycle repair company. It’s not a repair shop where you drop off your bike and come back later to retrieve it. it’s a mobile «rolling wrench» that comes to you to do the repairs at your house or garage. That eliminates the need to locate a trailer or make other arrangements to get your bike to the site if’n it doesn’t quite run right. Here’s the twist: you can watch and learn how to do the repairs yourself and save yourself money on the same or a similar repair in the future.
I’ve used them twice, once for a carburetor rebuild and once for a 10,000 mile service including brakes, fork oil, chassis lube, etc. One time Matt himself came out and the other time his employee (Jake) came out. I found both of them to be competent (I’m no stranger to the garage, I just lack experience with motorcycles and some specialty tools) and educational. And I saved money over the estimated cost for the same services at a local dealership.
My only disappointment: I live south of C-​470, so I pay a stipend for their travel beyond that point. But they showed up on time both times they came, ready to work each time. They are both clean and professional and I was not at all apprehensive about having them in my garage (where most guys store many of the things to which they’re sentimentally attached) or in my house, though neither entered my house. During one appointment (it took all day due to the number of services I requested) Matt had a minor tool SNAFU and couldn’t finish one repair. I told him not to worry about it, I’d handle it myself, later. He elected, instead, to go out and replace the tool and return to finish the service.
Rolling Wrench uses a menu board pricing scheme. In most cases, you can anticipate the cost of your care, up front. For instance, the full service is $ 500 plus parts (estimated at about $ 150) and my final cost was $ 650…no surprises!
