RTD-Colorado/I-25 Lightrail Station

$ 5 bus ride from right outside baggage pick up to Union Station downtown Denver.
versus $ 40 lyft or $ 65 cab ride.
$ 13 bus ride from airport to Boulder/​Eldora

Hey, tis the RTD, convenient, lotsa Park-​n-​Ride Parking for events and I most appreciate the train wait below during snow season cuz there’s covering below… now up top, where the buses are, that’s another story…
when it’s snowing and windy and we’re waiting under a small enclosed canopy where pot is legal in the state, believe me, tis wicked in these here parts…

For me, this is one of the most convenient light rail stations. I can get on at Nine Mile, but it seems to take forever when I do that. So I drive a few miles and come here. The trip is shorter, normally there is a place to park and it’s not terribly far home after that either.
It’s well lit, normally clean and well maintained as far as the parking lot being plowed and garbage being not piled up all over. It’s also close to movies, a few dive bars and restaurants if you want to walk a few blocks. All in all it’s a decent mid way point to hop on and off if you live down south.

Decent Light Rail Station. Its always clean. The parking lot is safe. Just dont park in the movie Theater Lot or For Dave and Busters. You will get towed.

It’s clean. It’s as pretty as a bus hub/​lightrail station’s probably going to get in this town (Union Station is shut down right now, y’know.) Twin side elevators lower you from either side of the train tracks down to the light rail, and again back up – or you can take the stairs. Bus boarding areas are clean and well-​maintained, and most are covered. Not any obvious litter, tagging, and well-​lit. 363 parking spaces just to the south in a big parking lot. UA Colorado Center 9 theaters and Dave&Buster’s just to the north.

The continued push to expand the lightrail system in Denver is bringing a whole new awareness of how using Public Transportation can get you to more places faster without ever having to get on the freeway.
This particiulare station is perfect for the surbanites to hop the train for a nice trip to the park, shoppping or any number of possible destinations besides the obvious… There is a vast amount of retail in this area including shopping, restaurants, theatre and gas stations. Not to mention the high rise housing, hotels and commercial space within one quarter mile.
This lightrail stop is convenient to all of this for locations north and south of the freeway.
There is a public bike rack as well as a B Cycle station here too.
The bus connections are for routes 21, 24, 46 and the DD.
The E, Fand H lines all pass through here.
Also, riding your bike is also convenient as you can easily hop your bike on the train to get to your perfect rising sopt or to cart you home if you go farther than your legs could take you.
