This place has the kind of food that, when I was slurping the last bit of delicious broth, I honestly got sad. I ordered delivery from GrubHub, and at first I was a bit confused, because it is listed as «Phở Saigon 9,» so I was convinced it wasn’t on Unilocal, which wasn’t a good sign. I took the plunge while battling the flu/cold/sinus bug from hell, and can’t believe I waited so long! I ordered a medium meatball phở with extra noodles, and oh my god, there was so much food. It served as at least three meals(I supplemented the broth when it ran out– next time if I get extra noodles, I will get extra broth as well) I’m pretty sure it’s the best Phở I’ve ever had. I don’t remember the phở I ate in Boston vividly, but I remember I was always adding more condiments. With the broth from Saigon, I really didn’t need or want to add anything! The boy got the combination plate with extra meat which also lasted for several meals. Our delivery arrived in the estimated time, and the delivery guy was nice, and easy to communicate with. My only small gripes were that the eggrolls were not crispy, as they were put close to other food that sort of made them soft, but they were still delicious. Also, they combine the Sriracha and fish sauce in one container, I would probably ask them to separate them next time, as I don’t always want both in my Phở! This place totally rocks, and although there are other Phở places that are closer, I’m glad we took a chance. We will definitely order again.

I’ve ordered from here twice and impressed both times with the delicious phở, speediness, and value. For $ 6.95 for a medium phở, you get a HUGE container of broth and enough really for two meals. The broth is amazing. The white meat chicken is fresh and free of everything except pulled white meat. If you order the dark meat chicken, you’re basically getting chopped off chicken straight from the bird(bones, marrow, skin and all), so just be aware. Then the basil, bean sprouts, onion, cilantro and noodles are all extremely fresh and tasty. Couldn’t ask for better phở. First time was takeout, second time was delivery, and both were very fast and friendly. Delivery took about 45 min from order to doorstep, but that was over several miles on a snowy night… pretty quick.

Ordered a tofu & veggie phở, and a brisket phở. Specified with the tofu & veggie to include veggie broth. Ended up with 2 beef broths when everything was delivered. Called and spoke to a nice man who appologized profusely and said they would send a veggie broth right over, and it should arrive in no more than 30 minutes. Called to check on the veggie broth after 45 minutes and was told by a very rude woman, «It’s on the way. Wait longer». Veggie broth was never delivered. Complete waste of time and money. Will never order from here again.

NASTY! I ordered chicken with rice. Ended up with the nastiest plate of food that had raw fish on it. Paid $ 9+, I told the girl, she responded by offering me a discount. My response was«I’m not asking for a discount I’m just letting you know your food was horrible». Really ?? Feeding me raw fish with nasty chicken and suggest a discount when you can obviously tell I barely touched the food. Let’s hope I don’t get food poisoning.

I think this was Phở 95? But it’s now Saigon. HUGE portions. Offers all the classic favorite Vietnamese dishes. Favorite was probably the egg rolls… crispy and rolled to perfection. Good service and fair prices.

Tasty phö, succulent noodles, and savory spring rolls! Cool décor with nice music playing in the background. A real gem on South Federal!

After three years of searching for real vietnamese food in Denver, I am finally happy. About as close to vietnamese home-cooking as you can get in this state. Authentic ingredients and no short cuts.

Great food and great service. Eating here is like eating with family. Very close to an experience eating in Vietnam.

Great phở, better than every place I tried on South Federal. The broth is really flavorful and portion is huge. Up until recently I almost gave up on eating phở because there are so many similar, cheap, huge portion, mediocre phở place on south Federal. Then my boyfriend braved this place and recommended to me. I was since hooked. We go there at least once a week. We usually get a phở(well done brisket is my favorite) and a new dish to share. Tip: if you go with another person, order the large bowl and share it. You will have enough that you can both get another meal out of the leftover. The young waitress/hostess could be a little more courteous. She almost looks so bored. But the owner is very nice. Whenever he is in the restaurant we always get served free tea.

TV has new music videos playing. Menu — same menu as when it was Chez Thuy. Great service — server was really attentive and considerate. She offered a to-go cup for my toddler’s drink, brought us scissors to cut our son’s food up. The sun has shining through the window onto my face and she noticed and pulled the shades down for me. Incredibly considerate and kind service! Phở — great balance and flavor, not too salty, star anise comes through, rare beef is sliced really thin so it is easy to chew, looks like it might be tenderized too. If you like your beef rare, you should ask for it on the side because it cooks quickly in the hot broth. They were skimpy on the basil for your phở, but I guess you could easily ask for more. Not everyone eats the same so better to not be wasteful. Can’t wait to come back to try some other menu items.
