Salta Service & Performance

Guys at Salta are informative and knowledgable! They saved me a bunch of money, provided a great service and were super on point! Probably the first time I’ve ever felt that someone was genuinely looking out for the best interest of my car! Thanks guys!

I have now taken my A3 here for its timing belt and a new wheel bearing. This place was recommended to me by a friend and it is everything he promised and more. The owners had my best interest in mind, and had extremely justifiable pricing on their work and parts.
I would be more than happy to continue to trust my car with these guys!

This shop was to cool to change the oil on my Mazda! What a dumb Business plan that is. I’ll gladly take my money anywhere else. Must be to hard of a task for those German mechanics. Dumb mechanics for even dumber car buyers!

This is the ONLY place to get your VW serviced. They know the cars from an enthusiast’s point of view, don’t oversell, and are reasonable. Crap, what am I doing, I should say they suck because they are getting busier and busier. Seriously, the best place I’ve ever had work on my car. I’m keeping my 2002 Passat longer than I thought because of these guys.

Steve and Joe are HONEST, down to earth, knowledgable, friendly and competitive. They specialize in VW + Audi. I brought my 2009 VW Touareg in because of a need for a new xenon headlamp. I called around, and These guys had the best rate for parts + labor. Was able to hang while they tended to my need quickly, and meet the shop mascot Koda. I trust that these guys are the best option for VW and Audi’s!

Salta is amazing — they are honest and quick — always give me a heads up on anything that might need to be done, but never push to have it done right away if it’s not critical. They go out of their way to make sure you understand what’s going on and what you’re paying for. I would highly recommend them to anyone that has an Audit in Denver (and surrounding areas)!!

I’ve been going to Salta for a few years now. All three of the owners work on my car and they always do an impeccable and flawless job. Salta has done everything on my TDI from oil changes to replacing my dual-​mass flywheel. When they did my timing belt, I was back in my ride the same day. Not only that, they will pull codes when something comes up with electrical, which does happens often with VW/​Audis, at the drop of a hat. I don’t see the need to seek any other mechanic in the city when these guys are so spot on and worthy. Go to Salta!

I hate to give this place away, but i also need to say how much they rock!
They are honest, they won’t fleece you for something if you don’t need it.
They are super knowledgeable with audi’s and vw’s.
They know what to look for, what should be looked at and what should be fixed!
They are willing to let you drop off your car early, they call you with the issues, they are happy to do a partial fix (like if 3 things are wrong), tell you what the ramification are and don’t hold it against you.
There is a shop dog, that is a sweetie.
Definitely come here if you need work done on your foreign car!

The guys at Salta found time to take us in on short notice because we were just traveling through the area. They repaired our vehicle in no time at all and offered us useful advise on some questions we had. After talking with Brian for sometime, I came to realize he is a man who sticks to the high morals he sets for himself. I have truly never met a more honest mechanic in my life. The Salta crew will tell it to you straight and treat you the way you always wished a mechanic and person would. A huge shout out to Salta for getting us on the road again!

Had a great first experience at Salta — and would happily choose this garage for future car needs.
Prior to me making my appointment, I called and asked Steve some questions on the types of oil they use/​recommend, how often I should come in (I was switching my Jetta from Synthetic to what they recommended), etc. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the oil, my car, etc. I appreciated the time they took to in depth explain to me the entire process — something that is rare at your average dealership.
When I brought my car in, they took it for a minute test drive and had it in the garage and getting worked on within minutes of me arriving. I went back to where they were working on my car, and one of the auto-​specialists, Joe, explained everything to me. He answered all my questions, and gave me advice — as I am new car owner and am starting to learn about maintenance, good brands regarding parts, etc.
It comforted me knowing that my car was in good hands, and that things weren’t being forgotten or done in a half-​ass manor. Price wise, my oil change was thirty to forty dollars less than my dealership and about 50 less than another VW shop in the Denver area that I was considering.
Will definitely be back to have my VW serviced there.
Overall — WONDERFUL experience. :)

Still using Salta (this is year 3?) to service my 09 Jetta and I’m still loving the service I get from Joe and Steve.

I’ve taken my Jetta in twice, and each time the employees at Salta have been friendly, efficient and honest. Both times they returned my car to me on time and in proper working order. After my second visit I noticed an odd sound coming form my car a couple days after it was in the shop. They told me to bring it in and fixed the problem right away. a minor fix.
Are they the cheapest around? No. But you get what you pay for and it’s most certainly been worth the extra cash because they don’t cut corners. Salta isn’t the most expensive shop I’ve been to either. 5 stars Salta guys! Next time my Jetta needs work (always), I’ll be taking it back to Salta!

If you have an Audi or Volkswagen you need not look further for a repair shop. Erica and Brian will treat you like a person and will make sure your car stays running. They are sensitive to the fact that many people have one car as their daily driver and will always get repairs done same day. Their pricing is extremely fair and they will not talk you into something that you don’t need. In fact, I’ve taken my car in for what I thought needed repairs and have had them tell me nothing needs done.

If all you care about is price, you’ll probably end up here anyway, but if you understand the importance of prodigious knowledge and profound skill, you need to find out about this place. If you don’t have an audi or vw, go get one, and make an appointment to have Brian make it sweet.

These guys are awesome. I brought my car in with a bad clutch and they got it fixed and back to me very quickly. Prices were very reasonable as well. What I liked the most about them was that everyone I talked to took the time to explain things to me. They were honest and straightforward and they do great work. I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been taking my ’02 VW Beetle to Salta for about a year and a half. They are honest, fast, reliable and know what they’re doing. For oil changes to having my transmission replaced, they have been my top choice for VW repair.

Now that the car is out of warranty I’m free to take it to the best place I can.

1. they’re close to my house, that’s a big win since we have one car. I can bike home after dropping the car off
2. I told them what the dealer had most recently recommended. They did a free first time visit, nothing was needed that the dealer suggested, and they found stuff that was far more impressive to me. They did more than a simple open the hood take a peak.
3. they presented the recommended repairs as distinct pieces so we could pick and choose what we did that visit. That’s awesome.
I’m super happy with Salta and my baby now has a new audi day care place :)

These guys are amazing. They are very laid back, friendly and do not overcharge or find more problems just to get you to spend more money. I got the feeling that they not only care about the well-​being of my car but my finances too. They are very laid back and have some great dogs in the lobby which makes waiting a lot more fun.

These guys are the best of the best. They know their stuff inside and out and are one of the few shops that still service older Audis. I’ve had my 200 in for electrical problems, a steering rack rebuild, emissions work… the lot. They’ve always been extremely helpful, up front and honest about all the work they perform. They will always be cheaper than the dealership and you know that your car is taken care of correctly. DO NOT skimp and take your car to a general shop without calling these guys first.

Brian and Erica are awesome. The price was almost 50% less than Prestige Audi and the quality of service was super. They replaced my clutch assembly, flywheel, and CV axel and performed a routine service in less than a day, then Delivered my car to me on their way home!!! No more dealer fraud — see Salta!
