Scissor’s Palace

If it could be possible to give a negative amount of rating stars it would be a –5. The place is shady, doesn’t even look open in the dark welcome area and smells like dirty dog. I really wanted a place close to the house and the gal at the desk was very nice so I gave it a try — bad mistake. When I picked my dog up I immediately noticed the hair along his back was choppy — long, short or completely shaved down to the skin in some places. it looked as if she cut him with a pair of dull scissors. I wanted to cry, my dog looked so bad. she didn’t trim around his ears or backside. Even worse I don’t even think she gave him a bath, he didn’t smell fresh and clean like after a usual visit to the groomer. It was the worst cut ever and we took him to another groomer to get fixed, they had to shave him completely down because it was so bad. Do NOT waste your money!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. When walking into this groomer’s building, it smelled awful & barely looked legit. However, we have had bad smelling places do a great job in the past so I still left our bichon/​cocker spaniel. When I picked him up, his hair was cut but it looked like it was done by a blind person. Our dog also left with the stench of the building — worse than when he went in. We took him to another groomer to get him fixed and they found LICE! We have been told the main way dogs get lice is from a dirty grooming facility, they don’t usually jump dog-​to-​dog. Absolutely awful place, do not give a dime to this place.
