Love this shop! Mark, Harley, Sean, and the guys here know their sh*t! When I take my bike in for service I always know it will come back ready jam. They can answer all your questions, they are friendly, and they won’t try to up-​sell you. If you are a mt. biker this should be your shop.

Sick little local bike spot. Walked in ready to demo out some mountain bikes. Ended up finding a Santa Cruz demo for an awesome deal. Mark really knew what he was talking about when I asked him all my random questions. I’m bringing my wheel there to get rebuilt, i will def be a loyal customer for all of my tune ups and purchases.

While visiting Denver with my husband he decided to get some mountain biking in. He contacted them via email and got a Santa Cruz rental and some help on what trails to ride. They were easy to deal with and had the bike as promised. The bike was in great condition and they got it all dialed in for him suspension wise. The trail info was spot on, just a nice outfit to deal with all around. Highly recommend.

I went to singletrack factory based on online recommendations and the fact that they carry the brand I was looking for. I’m very glad I did. I’m only giving a 4 out of 5 stars as I hoped to compare two different sizes of the same helmet model and purchase one. However they didn’t have the one size in stock. I stopped by in the few weeks leading up to the arrival of their spring order However i was very impressed with the shop, the employee workings attitude, helpfulness, and friendliness. I WILL return once the season is anew. I look forward!

My husband and I recently moved to Denver and both decided it would be fun to get bikes. Me for riding around the city and for him a mountain bike, so he could ride with me and also enjoy some challenging rides. We went to several stores and felt like as soon as we told them our budget, the staff either stopped talking to us our started telling us how there was no way he could get a decent bike for less than $ 1000.00. Since he had not ridden in 15+ years, we really did not want to fork out a lot of money!
We finally decided to check out the shops in our neighborhood and we are sure glad we did! From the first time we walked in, the owner and staff have been great! They understood what we were looking for and did not pressure us to spend more. We went in a few times before we bought and even though I got my bike from the store a few doors down (I wanted a blue bike) they have been nothing but great to us!
If you want individual service and not a lot of pushy sells guys, look no further than Singletrack! They have a nice selection and the staff seems very knowledgable of their products.

Could not imagine buying a bike at another shop. The only reason I would look elsewhere is if somebody could beat their price significantly. So far that hasn’t happened. I have bought two high end bikes there and am looking to buy my third. I can be a demanding customer and they could not be more accommodating.
STF has been servicing my bikes for 7+ years and I have had zero issues. I would imagine if there was a problem with service it would’ve shown by now. I honestly cannot remember one tune or any upgrade that has not performed flawlessly.
I love supporting the local small business vs the big bike shops in town. Such better CS and they take the time to learn your name. Means a lot.

I have been a customer and loyal patron of the single track factory since 2006. I have purchased bikes, clothing and even had wheels built there with nothing but positive things to say about Brian (the owner), Harley, and Mo. The staff is not only knowledgeable but extremely polite. This is a shop where they do not turn their nose up because you don’t want to buy a ten thousand dollar bike. They are good with wrenching, warranty, and all around questions. I would highly recommend this shop in Denver.

This is a bike shop to AVOID in my view. They are expensive and try to push full tune ups when they are not necessary. They also charge more for their services than other bike shops and cop an attitude. I went there only a couple of times before going to other bike shops (i.e., Turin), where you get better service at a lower price point and have a greater selection of bikes and accessories.

After you purchase a bike, they could care less. Very bad customer service and responsiveness has been very poor. Bad at customer communication, weird hours (sometimes closes early). and never return calls.
Seems like a neighborhood lifestyle shop that charges a premium for average goods and services to the uninformed customers.
Places like Bike Source, Salvegetti, Bicycle Village have much better service, knowledge, and attitude.

I have been mountain bike shopping for some time, but either wasn’t finding shops that had selection of what I wanted or the shops were too snooty to be helpful. That all changed with Singletrack Factory.
Went in on an exploratory visit and met with Harley, who gave me some great advice on a couple bikes to check out. He recommended I do an all day demo which they run for $ 100 where they let you check out two bikes over a day (refunded if you buy a bike).
I had planned on doing that on the weekend, when Harley proactively called me and told me they would be doing a Demo Day at Deer Canyon and that they would have the bikes I was interested in there in my size. And the price was right: FREE!
I went to the demo day and got to ride several bikes on good tough trails to see how they did. In no time, I knew exactly what I wanted.
I called Harley early that week, and spec’ed out what I wanted in terms of frame, component group, wheels, and other specifics. He took a deposit and told me it would be ready on Friday. Sweet, I could be on my new ride by the weekend!!!
Sure enough, I went in on Friday and my bike was ready, they did a full fitting and I was off and ready to go.
To sum up:
1) AWESOME customer care, Harley went above and beyond to let me know about the Demo day, and was absolutely full of good advice and recommendations.
2) SOLID selection of bikes (Santa Cruz, Yeti, Ibis, Niner). No chance I wasn’t going to find what I wanted there. I’m sure if they don’t have it, they can get it.
3) GREAT quality of build and service. My new Santa Cruz is tighter than a bug’s ass and I’ve had no issues, I haven’t even needed to do any micro adjustments yet after several hard rides, and I’m and avowed tinkerer.
4) GOOD prices, well in line with others out there. But for the quality of service and support you get and the rock solid selection, you are getting real value.
Highly, highly recommended.

Love the longboard. Costed a bit more than online but like to support local biz.

Customer service and responsiveness has been very poor. I had a rear wheel component failure on a new Felt bike purchased from Singletrack. I brought the wheel back to them in May. It’s been two months and still no resolution to my problem. They still have the wheel. The manufacturer shipped them replacement parts several weeks ago. I’ve called, they’ve promised to get back to me, they don’t. I’ve left three different messages and they never return my call.
After reading so many good reviews, I’m extremely disappointed in their lack of urgency — May, June and July are good months to have lost the ability to cruise around downtown Denver.

I have now been living in Denver for over 3 years and in Colorado for 9, but this past week was my first time stepping foot in the Singletrack Factory. I went in to get some service on my mountain bike and was greeted with a smile from one of their staffers. He spent a good 15 minutes with me going over possible problems with my bike and actually showed me how to fix the bike. Usually I perform all the maintenance on my bikes, but when it comes to fixing a rear suspension system, I usually leave it with the pros.
The guys at SF took down my info and confirmed with me that my bike would be ready on Friday given the amount of labor it would take to work on my bike. No problem.
Atmosphere: The décor of the Singletrack Factory is very simple with an array of mountain bikes lined up to the left as you walk in and cruisers to the right. The shop also has a lower lever where most of the soft goods are located. Everything was orderly and clean.
A Great Shop: a sign of a great shop is not about how many bikes they can have in stock, but the sort of vibe you get when you walk through the door. The SF has a very non-​intimidating atmosphere and is actually inviting, which to be honest is hard to find in a lot of bike shops these days. The staff wanted to do nothing but help me with my bike. When I came back to pick up my bike they were able to make it run like new again. I spent a little bit of time talking shop with one of their staffers and told him about a bike I was interested in. Surprisingly this staffer actually owned the exact bike I was looking for. He went out back and got his bike for me so I could take a closer look. He walked me through the bike and was truly passionate about working in the shop.
I WILL certainly be going back to the Singletrack Factory. My only complaint is that I didn’t know about the Singletrack Factory until now. Thanks for the great service!

I love this place! I got my Electra Cruiser here last summer, and my boyfriend just got one here last weekend. The owner couldn’t be a nicer guy. He made both experiences fun and enjoyable. We checked other places, and the customer service couldn’t be beat here. Don’t even bother looking around and wasting your time!

I’ve been here a few times, some out of necessity, others out of pricing differences. Being the closest Yeti dealer to me means that i’ve had to come here to buy certain parts that only they carry. In purchasing these, I usually call to double check, and when I ask about the price they seem to wait for a second then just throw a number out. I can tell they are manually putting the price in the computer as well when I get rung up too, but thats ok with me. I like supporting the independent bike shops, and its AWESOME when they give me lower prices than the other bike shops here.
The guys that work here seem nice enough, and are definitely willing to help you out. It doesn’t hurt when you go in asking about $ 2k+ builds, but they have also been nice in helping me with $ 10 parts. They are pretty cheap and have what I need usually, so I will probably keep on coming back here. In terms of service I’d say Salvagetti’s is a little more friendly, but this place has had every part I’ve needed in stock.

I called a bunch of Denver bike shops to find out how much they charged for basic tune ups and to try to get a feel for the staff’s helpfulness. I’m really new to biking, (well, not the fundamental act of it) but the Denver, bike everywhere, über-​cycling scene. I didn’t want to sound like an idiot, or get talked to like one.
The guy who answered the phone was really nice, nicer than everyone else I had called. So that’s where I went.
Well…
I think it’s just the nature of bike shops… I still haven’t found one that doesn’t have condescending staff to some degree, and Singletrack ended up bring the same way.
At least it was tolerable. Sigh.

The staff is friendly.
It’s in my hood.
They have an amazing selection of equipment. If I was looking for a bike, this would be a great resource.
BUT, I was looking for trucks for my son’s new skateboard. The board was a gift (Thank you Jessi and Kevin B). The wheels were a gift (thank you Thrifty Stick). So, all I needed was a pair of trucks.
So, I go in and they tell me trucks are $ 30 bucks.
Cool.
Can they put them on?
Yes! Absolutely.
Sweet!
I will bring back the board the next day and get it hooked up.
Next day:
Oh, we’re out of thoses trucks, but I’ll give you these $ 50 trucks for $ 38.
Um, OK.
Oh, and you’ll need ball bearings.
Um, OK, how much are those?
Price check (I don’t remember). Oh, and you’ll need tape.

So, how much total?
$ 70 something.
It was like «the old bait and switch», and I had the friggin’ skateboard. I could get a brand new, alreayd assembled skateboard for $ 80 — $ 125, and I know for a fact boards cost about $ 70+. So what gives?
.and they charge 50% more for a ski tune than another (will remain un-​named) local ski shop.

I told them my budget was tight and they showed me their least expensive bike, suggested the correct size, let me take it for a test ride, and installed the extras for free (pump, slime, under seat bag). They treated me like I was buying a top of the line bike — answered questions, took their time, were super informative and friendly.
Later when my bike suffered some damage, they fixed what they could and replaced everything else with better than stock parts. They also came by to ask me if I was hit by a truck, based on the damage (I wasn’t!).
I will be buying my snowboard from them, when I am ready for a new deck. I even buy some BMX gear from them and use it for motocross.

The employees are hip, laid back, know their products, and are really great people. They don’t follow you around like you’re going to steal something — if I have a question I’ll ask… OKAY (?!) — and they like good music.
Singletrack Factory is another independent Snow /​Skate /​Bike shop. They’ve got awesome snow gear with the killer hats, pants, and jackets — they have these plaid TO-​DIE-​FOR snowboarding pants that were retro brown & blue.
They’ll wax and tune your equipment and there’s customer parking in the back which is a novelty for this neighborhood.
