Established in 2015.

New owners Dave Cleland, Toby Waters and John Elliott purchase the Odelay Tacos/​Thirty Fourteen/​Beetle bar business in late 2014 and changed the name to Southside Bar I Kitchen in 2015.

My boyfriend got roofied there a month ago; perhaps our drinks got switched? He is quite the looker.
The upstairs is a bit dingy and could use some renovations. The reason for 2 stars is that the staff was nice and we didn’t have food, so I can’t comment on that…
It is a Seahawks bar, but when I went, they were all corralled upstairs. They seemed fairly nice, but then the mysterious roofie incident occurred. Maybe that explains the extra smiles?

Sadly, on NFL game days the entire place is taken over by large numbers of unbearably loud –and belligerent — Seattle Seahawk fans who brook absolutely no even-​mildly-​derogatory observations about their team.
If you like living here in Denver, go someplace else.

What a find! We had a craving for a margarita on Friday for happy hour, and stumbled upon this little gem… two dollar fried fish tacos with an AMAZING peach spicy salsa… so good that I ordered chips just to finish off the salsa! Sweeter margs, but definitely hit the spot. Plus, service was quick and friendly. There was seating outside, but we picked a nice high top inside. It wasn’t crowded, but didn’t feel dead either — easy to hear your friends talk but a fun atmosphere. I will be back — this is a new spot for me, and one of the best happy hour deals I have found lately!

Ordered a carintas quesadilla and there was no quesa in the dilla. friend ordered a blt and it was pretty terrible. Staff is friendly. And the drinks are good. Just don’t order anything but the tacos and chips and you will be ok.

We were actually on our way to Pinche Tacos and stopped to check this place out! So glad we did. We happened to stop in on Taco Tuesday… delicious. They have $ 1 and $ 2 tacos. Recommend the carnitas and pork belly. They do not disappoint.
They currently have 14 beers on draft and a wide variety.
New neighborhood favorite! I heard they have brunch along with an amazing patio. Our server was very nice and food came out fast!

If you’re looking for a laid back bar with good food and great beer selection this is your place! The bartenders are all very friendly and super helpful! I will say that Tuesday’s are extremely busy since they participate in «Taco Tuesday’s» $ 1 and $ 2 tacos along with cheap Mexican beers but it’s totally worth the wait. Try the nachos and quesadillas, they are awesome!
Also if you stop by on a weekend night check out the upstairs Beetle Bar, it’s a great pre or post dinner date drink spot! The space is beautiful!

The drinks are good but the staff is inept and the food is meh.
I ordered a medium rare burger with tater tots. The bartender brought me a bacon carne asada sandwich. I mentioned this to him. He apologized and told me they would get a burger with tots to me asap.
10 minutes later, they brought out a burger with out the tots. I had to remind them that tots came with the burger. So the bartender talks to the chef and finds out that they’re out of tots. I bite into the burger and it’s well done and dry as a brick. Luckily, they were nice enough to comp my meal and drinks. After this ordeal, I can’t find myself to come here again.
Don’t come here for the food.
