Southwest Alternative Care

So after meeting some fellow patients and doing that thing where we all show off the best medicine we can find, I was embarassed by a friend. It happened something like this:
«Check out this Platinum Kush from the place near my house.» I pull out a bag of gorgeous bud from an elite dispensary.
«Nice. Check out THIS Bubba Kush from Southwest.» He pulls out a bag of equally fantastic herb from Southwest.
«I got this for $ 200 a zip, tax included» He smiles, knowing about what I paid for mine.
«Fuck…» I feel ripped off after spending $ 300 PLUS tax ($ 320ish).
I daydream about how many great tacos I could buy in my neck of East Colfax with a hunded twenty fucking dollars.

Southwest is an EXCELLENT dispensary! This is the best marijuana for the price in town, without question. For members, $ 200 ounces all day, and very good sale ounces too. For $ 25 an eighth (ounce price) the golden goat, ghost train haze and bubba kush are probably the best bags you can buy in Denver for the money. The quality of those strains is usually on par with what the Clinic or Mile High Green Cross offer, but at almost half the price. I recently purchased an ounce of beautiful banana kush here on sale for $ 175, and it was only on sale because they needed to make room for the new harvest, not because bud quality was bad.
The location is on Mississippi between Broadway and Federal, so it’s a bit of a troop. And the lobby isn’t very nice, neither are the ammenities. But I don’t care because I’m not a yuppy deuchbag who needs to wait in a leather recliner with complimentary Fiji water to buy meh-​quality bud for $ 45 an eighth. Fuck that.
Hands down my favorite dispensary in the city. In fact, I haven’t bothered going to another since I found Southwest.
