We are located two blocks from Coors Field in the exciting and quickly developing Ball Park neighborhood. Surrounded by great food, coffee, drinks, cigars and tattoos, you could make a full day or a night of it. Parking is rarely a problem with ample street metered parking available.

Sanuk Studio features prominent hair care products by Kevin Murphy, Pureology, Moroccan Oil, Balmain Hair Extensions, and Dr. Locks dread products.

Sparrow Stylin’ Salon was rebranded by a new owner from Sanuk Studio in 2008. The location has been a Salon for over 10 year.

I walked by Sparrow and saw they offer ballpark neighbors 25% off so figured I would give it a try… and I’m sold! I had previously tried to dye my own hair and hated it. Lindsey did a great job talking through what I wanted and giving me ideas to fix it. I left with the perfect color and cut and got compliments all night. The salon itself is also adorable. It’s small but cozy and makes you feel like each client matters. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you Lindsey for a perfect cut and experience!

Corra is a fantastic hair stylist and colorist. She is adorable. The salon is small enough that you don’t feel like you are in a factory of ladies. They offer coffee, water, whatever you want and have a downstairs area to chill while your color is doing its thing. I’ve been hopping around from salon to salon for a while now, and I think I’ve finally found somewhere that I like! Corra is reasonable and so attentive, and they were playing 90’s hip-​hop music, which is always a plus.

I found this salon via Unilocal and called to make a same-​day appointment, and I was beyond impressed with the wonderful service I received! The owner provided great hospitality when I walked in, and Corra made my hair look absolutely fabulous. Prices are extremely reasonable and my stylist really cared about giving me the best possible service. I received a color, cut and conditioning treatment– all were amazing. I highly recommend this salon and Corra! Go see her and you will not be disappointed.

I got my hair colored a month ago and because of my lack of communication I ended up with something I did not like. 24 days later I called Lisa and she saw me again and corrected it with absolutely no problem. I am never the one to complain but I told Lisa it was either I apply it with a box from target or I could call her again and see what she could do. I love my hair now and I will continue to go back and be a faithful client. Lisa is very easy to talk to you and even let me bring my small dog!

I bought a Groupon for a cut and color by Lindsay. I have long, thick, wavy blonde hair and I usually don’t like my haircuts but she did an amazing job. I was happy with both the cut and color. The salon was very quaint and comfortable too. I would definitely recommend this place and Lindsay as a stylist!

While I’m often too busy to write as many reviews as I’d like, I have to give credit where credit’s due. A recent transplant back to Denver a year and a half ago, I haven’t been able to find a stylist I really like. On a whim, I purchased a Groupon for a color and cut and wow… Dionah blew my expectations out of the water! Having never gone reddish before, I was really nervous, but she nailed the color I was looking for. Not only was it an awesome experience but Dionah is a really cool chick too. The salon also had an event the following week that I went to with drinks, apps, waxing, blow outs and Botox on the financially saavy side. Super happy and I will be back!

Lindsey K is to die for. I picked this place based on location and reviews and I could not be happier.
The salon: classy, laid back, modern, beautiful in a vintage building. Professional, clean, friendly, they have a lounge you can hang out in while you are waiting– offer you a drink, felt comfortable the whole time.
More importantly, Lindsey: friendly, such a sweet gal to meet for the first time. Relaxed demeanor but she knows her stuff! I could not be more impressed with not only her skill in really knowing how to handle hair (tough hair at that) but she comfortably kept the conversation going at all times appropriate. Also– this lady knows her way around a blow out! My cut and color is exactly what I asked for.
Being new to Denver I am so thankful to have found Lindsey.

Lisa Branham is a scissorista! She gave my hair personality… wonderful layers and bangs I adore. She has an excellent vision for what hair can and should do. It is always relaxing to sit in Lisa’s chair and let her work her magic.

I snapped up a groupon to see LIndsay K for a cut, all over color, etc. When I got there, i talked with Lindsay (who happens to be super fun and personable) about what I wanted… Since my hair is pretty low-​key (long, straight as a ruler, and as dark brown as it gets), I wanted to try something fun… like streaks of bright-​ass color. She was totally game and fit this laborious coloring process into her day.
First, she put the bleach in (b/​c you can’t really color darkest brown hair) and then applied color to cover my grey/​white hair. Forty five minutes later, we needed to get the coverage color out, but my streaks weren’t done bleaching yet. No problem, we washed the color out, and Lindsey reapplied the bleach. She continued to check my hair, but noted that it was going to take QUITE SOME TIME. It ended up taking about 3 hours of bleaching. (I had knitting and people magazines to keep me busy/​entertained). Then we applied the color that she mixed for me, let it set, shampooed, cut the hair (a trim) and voila!
Awesome service. Lindsey kept feeding my meter for me so I didn’t get a ticket and offered to run next door to grab me a lunch/​snack. I’m not typically a fan of coming downtown b/​c I hate dealing with parking issues, but for Lindsey? I just might.

Guy friendly! Surprisingly!
Walking into the place I was a little bit unsure about whether I had made the right choice, given my XY chromosome. Not to say that its overly feminine but it certainly won’t be mistaken for a male targeted barbershop. On the Sunday afternoon that I went in I was greeted by a bright, open, pleasant space with gentle bluegrass music playing and nobody in the shop.
Mallory was my hair dresser and did a great job of assuring me that, yes they did in fact have experience cutting men’s hair. While I usually go to a great hispanic barber in San Francisco who does a great job for $ 15, I decided to splurge while I was in town for a wedding and Mallory was definitely worth it. She was very thorough and did a great job making sure that I was satisfied with the cut. Probably the best haircut I’ve ever gotten and Mallory is very pleasant.
While Mallory probably does many more girls than guys, I’d still highly recommend her if you have a Y chromosome.

I highly recommend booking an appointment with Mallory. She is smart, funny and best of all she listens. I needed a new hair color and as I was picking out the color she was very patient and suggested what she thought would look great with my skin color and eyes. I wore my hair styled to work and received many compliments. I am ecstatic that I found a new stylist that I feel comfortable with.
The salon is super cute and not overwhelming and the location is close to LODO in the Ballpark area!

This has to be the cutest salon I’ve ever been in. It’s pretty small, but the space is used well. The downstairs area/​waiting room is super comfy and they have a ton of magazines.
I called Sparrow’s on a Thursday and was able to get a Saturday appointment with Lindsey Kubla. She was really great about talking with me about what I wanted to get done and made a couple suggestions without being pushy. She did an amazing job with my highlights and cut, and the price is pretty on par with the rest of Denver.

I went there to get my back waxed with a groupon. I got there about 10 minutes early and sat down upstairs. After 3 or 4 minutes, I was ushered to the downstairs waiting room. A minute before my appointment was supposed to start, I was brought into the waxing room.
The whole appointment was very fast (30 min) and extremely professional. I’m definitely going to be coming back.

Lindsey Kubla did a great job giving life to my new hair bob. The length and movement look amazing, she cut off all the damaged dry hair that Colorado gave me as a souvenir.
The place is small but has charm and it’s clean. I will definitely come back to get a fun summer color so stay tuned for my next review.

I purchased a deal chicken for a facial since I’ve never had a facial and wanted to check it out. It was a pleasant and relaxing experience. Jaina was knowledgeable about skin and I felt like she tailored the experience to my skin type — something I have heard other places may or may not do. She was also able to help fix my brows, although the waxing prices do seem a few dollars more than other places I’ve been to.
All in all a good experience, but I am probably not going to make a facial a regular thing — it’s spendy for $ 95 a pop! Maybe a special occasion type of thing for me!

Just got an amazing cut & color done by Lindsey Kubla tonight! The salon is clean and professional but the girls are fun and a great time to be around. Amazing atmosphere very comfortable! I walked in with a graduated bob that had been growing out for almost a year with box dye in it. She was able to even the length, add some layers, and even put some ombré into it! She had me walking out of there feeling absolutely beautiful! You MUST try her out!

Almost 5 years in Denver and I have finally found «home» for my hair. Thank goodness because I was starting to get worried. I love the salon itself, it isn’t gigantic and crowded which I appreciate, it’s small and intimate. The colors and décor are bright and cheery and the products that they use are incredible.
My hair stylist is Lindsey and she is amazing. Cut and color always look great and I finally don’t have to worry about coloring my hair every 4 weeks. She stripped my hair of all the absurdly dark color and went in and made me look healthy again.
I can’t wait to come in here and try a facial, I imagine it will be just as awesome as the other services I have received!

First off, thank you to all the other Unilocalers who led me to choose this place during my visit to Denver. Your reviews were right on. Lindsey is amazing.
I have hair that is in crazy transition right now. Due to medications/​hormones, my hair had gotten really thin and, while I am happy there is now new growth, it makes my hair a little weird. Lindsey took the time to listen to my story/​concerns and really address them. She explained where I was at, how long it might take until all the new growth could really be part of an actual style, and what I could do in the meanwhile. Then she gave me a FANTASTIC cut. She worked the ends so they didn’t look straggly anymore (an issue I had with stylists back home who always wanted to put layers in my hair) and made my hair look thicker and in better shape than it has in such a long time. I actually got misty… twice!
Today is the first day I have felt pretty in a very long time. Lindsey, thank you so much.
