Stopped in one day after having breakfast across the street at Denver Biscuits, only because we were waiting on our Über Driver. Spiritways though, the name alone is intriguing enough to make anyone want to check it out ! Browsed around as I wasn’t really sure what to expect. They had candles, books, greeting cards and all sorts of interesting trinkets. I came to the counter to find their jewelry selection and absolutely fell in love with a mermaid ring with an attached purple gemstone. I forget what type of stone it is, which I keep telling myself I need to call in and inquire. Anyway, I wasn’t going to purchase it, but I absolutely love anything water related (pisces) and the little mermaid is my all time fave disney movie too! So after leaving the store and standing outside still waiting for our über driver I made an executive decision to just «go for it!» Haha !
The ladies in the store were really sweet and had I known they do tarot card readings my bf and I might’ve taken some extra time to sit down and see what that would’ve been all about.

Good vibes and energy. I have been here three times, in which two of those times were for tarot card readings. She was very mindful and affirming.

I have been here for three tarot readings and also love their selection of rocks and crystals.
The store is beautiful, everyone is super friendly, and my few readings have been spot on, despite my general questions. I had both a lady and a man read my cards. To determine how good a tarot reader is, I very much mind my body language, responses, and how much information I give from the get-​go. In this case, both readers they have employed are fantastic, amazing and have yet to let me down (good or bad news). I was also able to be present for the man to read a friend, and her reading was right on the nose as well (she had a very specific question).
I hate to expose this hidden gem, but you must go and have a reading!
Parking is easiest down the street between Denver biscuit and SpiritWays.

I’m still not sure how I feel about tarot card readings. But I was in desperate need of help and someone to help guide me even if it wasn’t legit.
We’ll I don’t know how much was real but everything was right on the money and was exactly what I wanted and needed to hear. I left feeling comforted and hopeful.
I had a strick budget when I walked in and they were very understanding of that. I never made an appointment, I’ve been twice now. I’ve had a male reader, who was food and the Brazilian girl with the shells who is beyond talented. She was very in tuned and insightful.
It was amazing and fun and I would definitely recommend this place for everyone, especially my fellow skeptics

I’ve been going to Spirit Ways for around 15 – 20 years now. Its the most inviting atmosphere I’ve ever been in. Sometimes I go in there just for the energy. Its a calming and grounding atmosphere and helps me «screw my head back on straight». The staff is always will to help me even if they know I’m not there to buy anything. They always lend an ear and have helpful feedback. I don’t know where I’d be without Spirit Ways.
Now I’ve been to the new Isis location and the staff there are horrible and wouldn’t greet me after wandering around for half an hour. After looking at herbs, books, candles and jewelry for an additional half hour, I finally approached the clerk to ask where the Reiki books were and she pointed to a shelf and said they’re over there. Meanwhile, other customers were coming on in and being greeted and helped. Its like I wasn’t even there. I don’t exactly look like your typical pagan, but that’s no excuse to ignore me.
Spirit Ways on the other hand greets me immediately and warmly. They’re always showing me where the new stuff is and can order any book for me that I might be looking for at no extra shipping fee racked on. These are genuinely caring individuals and I love them all dearly.
I highly recommend taking a little trip to they’re store to see for yourself what a real metaphysical store is like.

The people who own this store are on the rude and indifferent side. They are not eager to help people and seem extremely jaded. And they seem not to care much about providing you with information. The people at SpiritWays do not seem very spiritual.

During a high stress day of detoxing from refined sugar and crawling out of my skin because of it, I decided to wander into SpiritWays, and immediately, my sugar cravings subsided. There was so many beautiful things that filled my senses.
They have some very inspiring and cool greeting cards – a lot of wisdom in some of them. Quotations and poetry. Some made by a local photographer. Unique. Beautiful.
A woman who worked there named Amy – was very attentive and went the extra mile by sharing her knowledge about the different wide array of stones and crystals they sell there, and what they are good for. I learned so much from her. I’m a writer/​researcher — so I went home and looked up even more info on the rocks I had bought.
What she told me about each one was right on the mark. She told me she was teaching a stone class — unfortunately didn’t fit with my schedule. I could tell by how she articulated and carried herself, that she would make a great teacher.
The rocks and stones and crystals – that was the highlight for me. I instantly became like a kid in a agave candy store. Small, medium and large ones filled wooden bins so you could feel the stones – the shapes and the energy.
There are also READINGS at Spiritways. I noticed the signs around the store. I wasn’t sure if Amy did them too. I had one done for over a decade. Amy does readings, so I decided to do it.
I take things with a grain of salt and realize that no reader could possibly be 100 percent right. After all, we are humans, full of error
She used the same Tarot deck that I did, back in the day. The Thoth Deck. I was at the crossroads in my life – in a pretty intense way – but I didn’t tell her that.
She read those cards from her heart and most everything she said rang true to me. And since I used to read the cards – I know that she was right on the mark with this too.
I highly recommend Spiritways. It’s feast for your senses and a peaceful learning ground. A great escape from the insanity of Colfax!

I like the readers at this store, but did not find it has a good selection of books, crystals or tarot cards as its competitors.

I didn’t really know what it was but it caught my attention wen me my niece walked in looked around had no idea what we were looking for the lady that helped us was amazing she showed us around and I’m a jewlery type of girl I fell in love with the most beautiful moon stone pendent I had to get it I loved that store so much I’m going back on a regular basis and taking friends pure positive energy I received loved it

This is a really neat store. Great energy and the staff couldn’t be more helpful.

Even thought the folks working here are very helpful, the selection compared to other metaphysical shops that I have been to is somewhat sparse. Unless there is another room that I didn’t see there was no books. Sorry but I was not really impressed.

This store has the most wonderful energy and a great selection of items. Its still near and dear to me. What a great haven in the heart of the city.

If you ever find yourself on Colfax, alone, a bit stressed, depressed, or otherwise trying to talk yourself off the ledge, don’t waste your time or money at the coffee shops, cupcake joints, or bars on the street. Come to SpiritWays for a bit of a refresher. If this place doesn’t uplift your mood, then I give you permission to gorge on sweets, caffeine, and some hard liquor.
I stopped in here just to see what kind of things I could potentially buy. It made me wish that I was more into this type of stuff. Time to do some research before I go back, but the owner is highly knowledgeable about everything. She offered to help me numerous times, without being pushy.
The smells are divine! (How fruity did that just sound?) I was instantly entranced by the spiritual wonders of this place. Men may not like it, but I guarantee that women are enticed by these types of well scented establishments.
I bought some cone incense (which is supposed to extract the negative energy from my life and bring in the positive. Let’s see how it does), and some stick incense. 12 for $ 1.50, which is the best price I’ve seen.
Other inventory: Big selection of candles with healing powers, lots of books about astrology and positive energies, dream catchers, and capes/​wiccan (?) clothing. On one wall, there’s also an area where you can pick up flyers or business cards describing local services and classes.
Even if you’re not spiritual or new age-​y, stop in anyways.

phebe is the most awesomest spiritual adviser ever. no joke. even if thats not your thing, tarot cards aside, she was such a pleasure to talk to. well worth the 25 dollars for a half of an hour. the shop does smell real good. boys if you would like to impress your lady friend with some sweeet smelling gunna get you laid candles this is the spot to pick them up. also they have the most beautiful greeting cards here.

The girls that work at spirit ways are so kind and welcoming. I love phebe, she’s helped me through rough times… and it always smells good in there too !

This is a really pleasant, relaxing store full of books, incense, healing stones, you name it. I took my mother-​in-​law here so that she could buy a new instrument for her drum circle, and the women who worked at SpiritWays couldn’t have been more helpful and patient with her. Plus, they hooked her up with a great drum. I keep meaning to sign up for their Stone Classes, but I still haven’t gotten around to it. Every time I’ve been there there has been a tarot reader on hand, too, although I haven’t attempted a reading. It’s a place of positive energy. Good stuff.

Spirit Ways Metaphysical Bookstore is such a feel-​good energy place. I love love love this store. With a huge scented collection of candles and such for starters, they also carry cool art and lots of books on witches and energy and such.
I’m not big into fairy art and dragons, but if I was, there is quite a selection of cards and posters and knick knacks. They even have extremely cute ornaments with fairies that range from darling to pinup.
The only downside is the last couple times I’ve been in, the candle selection has been depleted and I have to make another trip — no offering to mail out, or order more, etc. Bummer. I’m sure there is some retail value to having people enter the store over and over again, but I’m more of a service type of gal, if I drop in I don’t expect to have to come back later in the week.
