Starbucks

I usually stray away from big name coffee shops but I strolled in anyway. There was good vibes as soon as I went in. I ordered an Iced Americano with a shot of caramel. The baristas were very informative and didn’t ridicule my simple order. The coffee actually tasted like it was just brewed and the caramel shot was indeed tasted. I love this store and did not regret my decision. Please treat the baristas as if they are professionals they deserve it.

Friendly staff in this busy 16^th St mall Starbucks. My soy chai was as it should be, just right. A bit loud if anything for morning meetings. Not much room to sit.

By far my favorite Starbucks location. It is where you can go to have some quiet time to study, or have small chats with strangers and friends. The people here are courteous and respectful. There are so many spaces and seats so although it has history of becoming over crowded, it certainly meets its high expectations because it’s one of the best Starbucks in downtown Denver.

Many kudos to this Starbucks! Here on Parade of Lights night, and they are staffed to the max and doing a fabulous job getting this enormous crush of humanity our hot drinks and on our way! In hindsite, today would have been a good day to try the app ordering system :).

This has been my usual spot for the last three weeks of mornings and evenings. Every. Day. The espresso is always consistently awesome. This place is typically mobbed w people, the service is always friendly and orders are accurate. Mobile ordering is almost a necessity here, it makes getting your order among the masses a snap. I’m glad this place is here. It’s been a saving coffee grace!

Terrible, slow service. Very dirty location. Definitely in need of new management. I feel bad giving such a poor review because the overall cause of the poor experience was under staffing.
Let’s be real, we all have expectations going to a Starbucks. Epic FAIL.

Came to this Starbucks earlier today. I ordered my usual; caramel macchiato with extra caramel around the cup. When I received it, they guy told me «I just threw the caramel on top just mix it yourself» In a rude way. I said around the cup! Left the place disappointed with like a quarter cup of caramel. :(

Always reliable wherever I go. I use my app to pay and never have issues. Not the best coffee around but they are consistent, fast, and always make the order right if they mess it up or if you’re not enjoying your drink.

Starbuxes are the best! World over, they basically sell the same exact thing, exactly the same way. Size/​Milk/​Beverage. Venti Soy Latte with Cinnamon steamed in? No problema at this particular Starbucks.
This Starbucks is way above average because it has a SUPER PATIO attached to Republic Plaza that is almost always bathed in sunlight (or, this year, rain), with many tables and umbrellas to sip your beverage and ditch work and procrastinate along the 16^th Street mall.
There is always a line, but this one ZIPS, plus they have super cool chalk art!

My second time at this location. The staff was friendly, and approachable. The place looked cleaned and organized. My order was out extremely fast, so I appreciated that of course. The products definitely looked fresh and organized.
I’ll be back!

Stop at all Starbucks all the time… found the workers friendly and efficient. Had no problems.

This Starbucks is right in the middle of 16^th street mall and is a good pit stop if you’re going to spend a day shopping among the many stores and other attractions the mall has to offer. I found this location to be much larger than most other Starbucks locations, especially downtown where real estate is a prime commodity. But I guess that’s why they charge you $ 4 for a small cup of tea. Something that I noticed at this location is that if you want to refill your cup with water, better to get it somewhere else, since I asked to have my cup filled with water, and after handing it to the server, and having H20 written on it, it just sat there untouched for at least 5 minutes while 4 other employees, who were just standing around, looked at the cup and just ignored it. 11 737

Much of the staff has changed (not uncommon for Starbucks, I get it) since I first started frequenting this location. The newer employees are much less friendly and get frazzled much more easily. It usually takes a bit longer to get a drink and I notice that people who were in line after me, who ordered much more complicated beverages, get their drinks before I get my Americano on an unfortunately frequent basis. It’s no longer the well-​oiled machine it once was. Nowadays it’s pretty much just your average Starbucks experience, nothing special.

This starbucks is good. They have a sitting area outside, which I enjoy when I come in for a cup of coffee. The staff is friendly and fast to complete your order. Their bathroom facilities are pretty clean too. That is a high star rating on my book!

The 2600 hacker crowd has been meeting here for years. Usual range of caffeinated beverages to boost laptop typing and suspicious eye movement skills, the window walls make excellent vantage points from which to spot incoming law enforcement, and well-​placed front/​back exits to make a quick getaway. Even the bathroom has a keypad lock on it for the obligatory standoff while you degauss your hard drive and proclaim your innocence. Great business!

Even when I have the ability to enjoy a free breakfast with coffee I still opt for my Starbucks fix.
I was almost deterred from entering this location as the line seemed endless. Another person about to enter assured me the line moves fast so I entered in with the masses and got my place in line.
Service was efficient and I was pleasantly surprised how quickly my beverage was made. I also noticed that this location has a larger variety of pastries if that’s your thing. This location is adjacent to the Sheraton and is convenient for that morning cup of joe.
The caffeine jolt kept me going all day.

Snooty since the remodel?
I have frequented this location for years, it was recently remodeled (last month) and since then either coincidentally or not the service has been rude and atypical of this business.
After today’s experience I think I will hit up one of the many other options available. I was stoked there was only one person in line (which never happens) and it still took 20+ minutes to get a drink which was ultimately wrong. I was greeted with a bark that ‘someone else will help you’…uh ok. Then the cashier while friendly, charged me incorrectly, had to refund and redo and then there was a big olé line after me. No big deal, as long as it all gets processed right in the end, right?
Then once my drink was ready, they set it on the counter without calling my name so I asked about it and got a grunt from the woman on the bar. There were odd toppings so I tasted my drink and it was wrong, so I asked if I could just get a free drink coupon as not to waste this crème brûlée latte but she said no either they could put it in a paper cup and make me another one or just dump it and make me another drink. I asked one more time, explaining that I don’t want to be wasteful but she wasn’t having it. So, as I am getting frustrated I agree to redoing my drink and dumping the wrong one. But, my drink goes to the back of the line and I have to wait for a half dozen other drinks to get made to receive mine which definitely doesn’t have the extra shot in it that I ordered. So all of that for a wrong, expensive drink.
I have been a barista and endured the variety of great and terrible starbux employees in my day but 4 bad encounters in one visit plus an obvious attitude in the air was very off putting. I am forgiving of mistakes and understand that mornings can be crazy, but this was upsetting. Perhaps they are being managed poorly or today is particularly challenging on their end. But, the last couple of times this face lifted shop has served attitude. Ugh.

This location really needs to train their barista’s on how to steam milk. I asked for extra foam and it was pretty obvious that the barista on bar did not know how to make this happen.

I stopped into this Starbucks location while waiting for my sister to take care of some errands downtown. I was bracing myself for the experience of a S*Bux at lunch time on the 16^th Street Mall… but was pleasantly surprised by its lack of line and speed of service.
Unfortunately the A/​C was down, so it was hotter inside than it was out. Being a former slave to the Siren, I know how crummy it can be to work there, so for working there AND working in the heat, on the 16^th Street Mall, during lunch time… well for that I salute these baristas.
The guy behind the register was friendly, as was the lady who made my drink (straight up unsweetened iced coffee). This location was also very clean, based on my short (and unofficial) condiment bar observation.
This Starbucks location, while not ideal unless you’re already downtown, is highly recommended under such circumstances. And if you’ve got the time, the shaded patio outside doubles as viewing space to some pretty rad people watching.

The final starbucks on the 16^th st mall, closest to the capitol building, and by far the strangest!
Definitely an eclectic set of people, always crowded, and the bathroom requires a code to use.
Staff is beyond friendly and helpful and the coffee tastes great!
This is usually where i go for a cup before my annual stair climb at the rebulic, or if we are at this end of the mall and in need of coffee!
