I don’t know why I keep coming back to this Starbucks, every time I get a drink here they always mess it up. I just ordered a grande vanilla bean frapp with caramel drizzle on top and they just completely overloaded my drink with MOCHA, my drink is now UNDRINKABLE. Drizzle does not mean smother my drink. Caramel and mocha doesn’t even sound the same. If you’re looking for what you want from other Starbucks don’t bother coming to this one, it’s a waste of time and money. I don’t recommend this one to anyone. BEWARE

Busier than most, but it is smack dab on the on ramp to two freeways. Nice folks behind the counter, good enough coffee and a great place to ‘fuel up’ before a trip anywhere.

I rarely go to Starbucks. Rarely. However, just went with my wife to go get a coffee. We went to the drive thru to save some time. 4 cars ahead of us. Took us 20 minutes. Looked in the window when we pulled up and the employees were just standing around. Window lady didn’t apologize either.

I have to give this place MAJOR props. We take Rossy(our dog who thinks he is human) to this location for a pupaccino through the drive through every weekend. It is to the point where any time we leave he runs to the front door and tries to open it in hopes today is the day we are taking him to get that cup of whipped cream. The reason this place is so exceptional is because my boyfriend, who always orders a girly concoction frapaccino and pretends it is for me, has never once been made to feel weird for ordering the not-on-the-menu pupaccino. I am always along for the ride every time, though I just order a black coffee, which my boyfriend pretends is his– think JD in Scrubs with the apple martinis, and I see his apprehension every time he asks for«a pupaccino… I have a dog in the car with me». As though he would be ordering one for himself. It’s just one of those things that never starts being less awkward for him no matter how many times he does it, and he can’t just not do it because Rossy would be devastated. Every single time he does awkwardly place that order here, though, the person on the other end of the speaker almost reassures him with an enthusiastic«Yes, of course!». THAT is what I need to thank the employees of this Starbucks for. Without you Rossy would not get what is most likely the highlight of his entire life.

Very slow for a highly trafficked Starbucks. I’ve been stuck in the drive thru for 15 minutes + before. It’s a little faster to go in. Both are inconvenient for those ‘in a hurry’ coffee drinkers. More baristas, better trained baristas, more experienced management? Not sure what it will take, but something needs to be done at this location.

Very nice location, friendly staff, clean store. They made our drink perfectly and had most items we wanted in stock except a breakfast sandwich, but were able to offer a good alternative.

I went thru the drive thru to make a very simple order of regular venti coffee with milk and 1 sweet n low, I knew there was something wrong with the lady when she asked me what kind of milk I wanted when I clearly did not care what % sinse I clearly told her what my order was in plain English so I repeated the same order a second time and she exhaled suddenly in a disrespectful manor as the customer I did not give her permission to give me an attitude so when I got to the window and received the order I drove off and had to come back because there was clearly no sweet n low in the cup so I went thru the line and when I got to the window it was a man and I handed him the cup and I said I would like you to fix this order and make it right he then asked me to tell him what was wrong and I told him if you people got it right the first time then we would not be having this conversation at this point the guy is giving me an attitude after I did not give him permission to give me an attitude so I then asked for the manager and he said he is the manager so I left the cup and said I will never come back here and I drove off and I then went to a different location to get pleasant service from people who understand they are being paid to do a job and in there lies the PERIOD!!!

Yikes! Perhaps the most unfriendly Starbucks I have ever been in! No hellos. No can I help you. No smiles. Cashier couldn’t be bothered. I had to engage them to even order. Everyone was doing something(sorta??)…but it looked more like talking and avoiding any eye contact with me. Maybe everyone is just really tired from the holidays. I know I am… but I’m also very friendly to… um…everyone. especially when I am in my place of business. Better luck next time!

What does this Starbucks and the security line at any given airport on a Monday morning… that’s right… they have everything in common. Slower than snot, lines going everywhere, people pissed, people honking, people thinking there should be a «I drink Starbucks 5x a day»… And to top it off… its staffed by people that didn’t qualify to be a TSA greeter.

I visit this location often only because it’s an easy stop on my way out the door in the mornings. It is often busy therefor the staff always seems frazzled. Today was the busiest I have ever seen it and experienced such rude customer service from a woman working behind the bar that I will not return. The staff at the 16th street and Blake location is SO much more pleasant that it is worth going out of my way and getting a much more consistent latte.

10 minute grace period after closing? I’m a fan! Our hearts sank when we pulled up and made the connection between people exiting, 9:03 on the clock, then seeing 9:00 on the door sign. That’s never a good feeling! We were so pleasantly surprised that the barista was not only still willing to serve us but a couple people who came in after. A simple thing which made our days(that were exceptionally hectic/stressful/every word in the book.). Thank you! :)

I hit this location whenever I’m about to hit the highway to get out of town for a few hours or days. I also pass it every morning on my way to work and the line through the drive-thru is always a long one. It’s also one reason I never stop here during the week. The staff here is always friendly. And yes as another Unilocaler mentioned, the lobby is faster than the drive-thru(most of the time), but then the lobby being this is a small location, can become crowded really quick. The one reason I gave this location 3 stars was not anything that they do necessarily, but because I’ve figured out that the more I go for coffee at Starbucks, any Starbucks, the more I find that I don’t really care for what they serve and call coffee. Sure you can have it your way(ala old Burger King slogan), but no matter how many shots or double shots, half whip fraps, mochachinos, drizzled syrups, etc. It all tastes the same basically. And really half the time I can’t taste the coffee, thats«supposedly» what they build each concoction with in the first place. Sorry Starbucks, but you don’t do it for me anymore.

this is the closest ‘bks to my house and therefore I accept the slower than normal service and the mechanical baristas who hand me my coffee with their robotic voices and movements.

I’ve been back a few times since my last review, and I have to say, this place is actually improving! Granted if it is on customer service alone, as the wait times are still lengthy. So, been through a few times where the wait has been long and they bought the drink I had ordered due to the wait. I appreciate this, not because I need something free to feel vindicated in my previous review, or the several long and ridiculous waits I had before, but because it is nice for them to finally recognize that perhaps their wait times have been a bit too lengthy on a consistent basis, so for that I will up my rating. Honestly, I hope they keep improving on any level, I would love to be able to stop here as it is on my way to work instead of other, more difficult to get to locations.

The only Starbucks downtown not basically on 16th(18th and stout doesn’t count) If you do drive thru, don’t do it on weekends, everyone going through needs a bunch of drinks and food, takes forever! Staff is really friendly and helpful. They move the line quick and produce your drink as requested. Good place to stop as you hop onto 25 or 70
