Best tacos I’ve ever had! You can pick from a variety of tacos so I had one of each animal lol(chicken, lamb, steak, and shrimp). The LAMB was by far the best I’ve ever tasted. It was seasoned like it’s been marinating for 3 days. And the music on a Friday night is GREAT. I love the ambiance and the service itself was up to par. I’ll definitely be returning here!

I have heard such amazing things about this place… I wish I was leaving an awesome review but unfortunately I have to be honest. This place is pinche great for drinking but the food is lacking mucho mucho. First, we get to the restaurant and sat down expecting chips and salsa like every single Mexican restaurant out there… nothing, we sit down to an empty table. That made me sad, very sad. Second… we asked for salsa for our tacos and this place doesn’t even have normal salsa wtf?! So we had to order chips and salsa, even that salsa sucks! Not spicy at all and pretty bland… salsa is supposed to be spicy! Grrrrrrrr Third, it is so crowded and you are practically sitting on your neighbors lap, too small, they should consider expanding to make the atmosphere a little more comfortable and not so clustered. Tacos are ok, nothing special, lacking a lot. So, all the creamy crap they drench the meat in when your tacos come out=unnecessary! I just wasn’t impressed… I expected so much more… drinks are on point though… those were the best part of our visit, kind of sad we had to get drunk to enjoy it here. we won’t be dining here again but might go for the limeade it’s the bomb!

Do not go there with only a party of two. They will not seat you even if there are open tables. I understand you want to keep four tips for four people. However, if you have paying customers waiting while you have open tables, that’s just rude. This is the second time it’s happened, and totally frustrating cause I love this place.

I am in love with this place! I usually don’t really care much for fusion/hipster tacos but this place is amazing. Having tried it on a pervious visit to Denver, this was a must go to for my recent trip. The place is small, but in a cozy kind of way. This location seems to be much bigger than the first though. We got the Pinche Papas, Guac; Lengua, Pollo a la Crema, and Carnitas tacos. All the tacos were freaking amazing, as expected! The meats were so tender and seasoned well, and the sauces push it to the next level mmmm. The Guac was pretty good, I would’ve liked an option with more heat. The Papas were pretty basic – just cheese fries with ground beef on top. Overall this place is a must for dinner! The only complaint is that the music is a bit loud and doesn’t really match the atmosphere of the place; it’s almost trying to be a club.

I absolutely love this place. I come during happy hour a ton. I really enjoy the sreak sliders as well as the asada tacos. The fish tacos with the pickled onions are the shit too! The wait staff is consistently awesome. Enough for me to do a review… I never do reviews.

I’m writing this review assuming that this is the other Pinche Tacos location in the Highland area. I have no idea why this business isn’t called that One more note before I get going: these are not your typical hole-in-the-wall delicious tacos and more. This is the gringo-ized version, but I have no problem with that as you’ll soon read(assuming you’ve made it through this boring paragraph). We showed up here for my brother’s girlfriend’s birthday with a group of 16. Pinche Tacos does not take reservations and we knew this ahead of time, we just figured we would use the community table and we were aware that it was not going to be a smooth transition. So in no way do I hold Pinche responsible for our wait. In fact, the host was a champ at slowly moving us one chunk at a time over to the community table as parties of 3 – 5 paid and left. They handled it marvelously. That being said, Pinche is a small place and perfect for gatherings of 4 – 5, but if you’re in a hurry and a large group, I would try and a place that takes reservations. BUT, you should definitely get in here and eat some of their food. What I love is that, while the ingredients are few, they switch it up for the different types of protein. So you’re not going to get the same salsa, onion, lettuce, and cheese for every type of taco. The ingredients are designed to mix gracefully, creating a delicious taco with a well-rounded flavor. Our server was on top of things and managed a loud table of 16 like a rock star. In the end, the entire yummy meal broke down to about $ 13/person. How often to you get to have a satisfying meal like that for $ 13 any more?! I’m happy to know there’s a new location in the Highland, because I want to go there more often now.

Fantastic tacos, especially the carnitas. Every time I’m in I like to try a different one, and I’m never disappointed. Their chips and salsa are really good as well. They have about 3 different salsas and they’re each really great and unique. They also have specialty cocktails that are really good, so always ask what their drink is that day. They environment is great as well, it has that hipster kind of feel, but a nice bar and good food. It’s usually pretty busy, so go in early even on a week night. It’s also pretty cool to order your street tacos the same way as you would some sushi. So for sure checki t out

worst service I have ever gotten… waited over an hour for a table watching others get seated then to only get a rude waiter to serve us. We waited another hour for our waiter to take our order. I’m very laid back and takes a lot to bug me but I’ll never come here again!

AMAZING food, Love this place!!! Very Hipster style restaurant but with GREAT food and drinks. Price is normal for street tacos, Guacamole is very traditional and I LOVE it.

Listen. Chef Morrison is a baller. Period. The locations are small which is a down side but it’s worth EVERYSECOND of the wait. I actually saw a review of their system during a wait, from someone who didn’t even eat the food. I’m sorry but you have got to just wait, and hold the silly place holder. I kind of enjoy being referred to as a tasty taco rather than my name. BAM! I have been to this location a few times. Once for brunch, which was unreal, a freaking Chiles Rellenos taco… With a sunny side up egg. I’ve died and gone to heaven. I take my friends here when they are in town, I go on my birthday, and I go when I want tacos in and around my mouth and a marg in my hand. Grab a drink and buckle up for the best night of your life.

This place is awesome. I really would buy a ticket and fly to Colorado just to eat here(who cares about friends when there’s tacos!?!). I LOVE tacos, though(ok fine, friends, too). The best is always the carnitas, but I was pleasantly surprised by the fried chicken taco. The bestest, though? The Brussels sprouts. It’s a good thing autocorrect capitalized Brussels cause those little mini-cabbages were damn good. I’m not sure what you do to them Pinche, but keep on doing that same thing.

Pretty decent tacos and a good atmosphere make for a good night out. We had a big group out on a Tuesday night for a birthday. They didn’t have much trouble seating us at a big communal table despite being pretty packed. Some people in our party that arrived late had to wait for a few other customers to finish up, but that was expected. Their tacos are small ‘street’ tacos that you order individually, but come on a big plate for those in your group to choose from. The choices are very extensive, with your typical fare of beef, pork, and chicken, but they also have various fish, pork belly and cow’s tongue. While these tacos are good quality, they are slightly overpriced. A $ 3-$ 4 taco here might only be a $ 1-$ 2 taco somewhere else. Add in a $ 5-$ 10 alcoholic drink or a $ 2.50 can of soda(seriously) and you could be looking at $ 30+ per person. Despite the price, it was a special occasion and they took care of us really well with some free drinks and desert for the birthday boy.

Great atmosphere and service and the food is pretty tasty. The happy hour sliders were really good especially the shrimp one. The shrimp taco on the other hand was not, three tiny shrimp and a truckload of pico de gallo, made it overpriced IMO. The Pork Belly and Asada tacos were both very good. For dessert the Churros were excellent and the Tres Leches was pretty good albeit just a tad too much Bourbon for my taste.

Great«street» tacos, in a hip, neighborhood bar. The menu has a great range: the carnitas is a favorite but it’s worth trying the seafood options. Each $ 3-$ 6 plate makes two little tacos; you’ll need three to five for a meal, depending on your appetite. Save room for their churros…

Good lord how I’ve missed these street tacos! My favorite place for cocktails and tacos, bar none. Ordered the plancha, hongos, and pescado, while my friends gorged on the asada and lengua. My friend liked the lengua so much, she went back for more while her eyes rolled to the back of her head in ecstasy. This was my first time at this location — cute, tiny, and great service. If only I could transport Pinche to Seattle, my life would be complete!

I’d give this 6 stars if I could. Pinche Tacos are the BEST tacos in Colorado, hands down. My g/f’s mom is a Mexican native, and was visiting from El Paso, and said they’re as good as she’s ever had, as in, EVER. It’s hard to find a better endorsement than that! We usually do take-out, but when we’ve eaten in, the drinks are always really great, with clever garnishes on the glasses, like chili powder, salt, sugar — whatever’s appropriate to the drink. Finally, if you can fit any more, the churros with genuine Mexican chocolate dipping sauce are some of the best ever, if not the best.

I give the service 5 stars overall because the staff had genuine attitudes. I was not happy with the limited variety or amount of items on the happy hour list. Obviously happy hour lists are quite limited, but this felt very scarce. The sliders… ALLBREAD. Tacos… TOOSMALL. Not a lot of time was put into them

Pinche’s in Highlands is significantly different from the York location. They have a breakfast menu(unlike York) and fewer street taco options. On the day we are here, the kitchen was phenomenally slow. The manager stopped by after we were waiting for our food for over an hour to comp our meal. We were grateful for their attempt to save our lunch experience. When the food finally arrived, everything was delicious. I highly recommend the queso fundido el tequila, chips and quac and the lengua tacos.

When we walked up to the restaurant I saw the telltale red donkey and thought, «This is probably Pinche taqueria» under a different name. Sure enough it was so rather than trying what we thought was something new, we ate some of our old favorites. We had only been to the Denver location so it was a nice treat to have the Highlands location which is closer to home. We had one of our dogs with us so we got to go since the patio tables were all full. I went with my favorite griddled cojita cheese with tomatillos and avocado and a chili relleno that had mushrooms, cojita and an over easy egg. Both were fantastic as usual. The hubs went with lengua, carnitas and the pescado tacos and really enjoyed them too. The tacos are good for nuevo style tacos as I call them and not the traditional Mexican street tacos. The staff was really helpful and I was asked by everyone that walked by while I waited if I had been helped which I appreciated.

Had a lunch here with my boss after attending a morning conference at Regis. I had heard about the place from a number of friends from a couple of my different friend circles, so I was anxious to try it out. We had a little trouble finding it! We followed the map on our phones and couldn’t figure it out… until we realized that the tiny little sign on the corner was theirs. The vibe in there is super trendy and hipster. I can’t say I didn’t expect that considering it’s in the Highlands. The wait staff was all super friendly, and when we told them neither of us had been there before, they were so excited that we were trying it out. We ordered the salsa, which comes with 3 choices of salsa. My favorite was the one with abuela in it! I can’t remember the name of it exactly. Also, fresh made chips which were great. We each ordered 2 tacos and this combined with the chips and salsa was a pretty filling meal. Unique tacos, too, which makes for a fun experience. Glad I got to try it out, and would love to come again to try some other items from the menu.
