Tek-​Ease offers computer help, repair and support services in the metro Denver, Colorado area. We are by appointment only. We specialize in assisting small business and families. We recommend, build, fix or speed up any PC.

History

Established in 2006.

Tek Ease was born out of a passion and hobby for computers. In 2006, we started small, with just a handful of clients, selling our service by the hour. As we honed our craft and improved our efficiency, we were able to take on more by bidding by the project. Soon, we established a baseline for how long the average consultation or repair takes and how much attention each client requires over a longer period of time, and we began selling annual service contracts that offer a lot of value and peace of mind.

We’ve now branched out into other IT segments and created strategic partnerships to offer our business clients websites (using a proprietary, in-​house and high-​tech CMS or Content Manage System), graphic design, business strategy, branding, internet marketing and classic marketing, as well as the newer buzzword «SEO» or «Search Engine Optimization». By partnering with a best-​of-​breed group of individuals and businesses, we are able to offer a full complement of IT services.

Ryan has 16 years of experience in the computer field, including 10 years in the corporate world, and 6 years as a founder or founding member of various small startup companies around the Denver metro area. Trained as a software developer, Ryan’s passion evolved into the hardware and troubleshooting aspect of computing. He realized he had found his calling. Through his experience at Tek Ease, Ryan has seen the value of offering a greater complement of services to his customers, without diluting his time and skill, by forming strategic partnership with his business contacts from over the years. Ryan is now poising and positioning Tek Ease to be a leader in the Denver area for its small business and residential customers.

We had Tek Ease out to our house to hook up our internet, fax and modem. He was very knowledgable and was able to get the job done. The price was higher than I wanted to pay, because they charge by the hour including his drive time, but everything works great!

My 1 ½ year old likes to climb up everything and act like Godzilla. He stepped on my laptop and his chubby self was too much for its delicate innerworkings. While I sent it off to be repaired by Squaretrade, I needed a loaner. No problem, Best Buy surely has them. Nope.
Next I looked on
next and saw Tek Ease. It was a drive, but it appeared to be the only option for rentals. I also noticed they have 30 reviews, mostly 4 stars. Ryan, the owner let me know I could rent a laptop, a Lenovo Smartbook for $ 50 bucks for the week. When I went to pick it up, he was fine with me and Godzilla chilling on his couch. Very professional service. Don’t buy one and return it, or borrow a friends, just go to Tek Ease.

Ryan helped me swiftly and professionally with my broken laptop. He gave me candid advice, telling me what the issue seemed to be at a glance and what more it could be to set expectations right, and what the estimate was. He kept me informed, ordered the expected parts, fixed the broken pieces quickly and I was on my way with a reasonably priced repair. Very friendly and professional the entire time. I’ll definitely contact again with any issues.

My dog spilled a full glass of red wine into my laptop… twice. After the second time, it no longer worked. These guys not only fixed that problem, but debugged my system, located and fixed other problems, and spent a ton of time getting my speed up and securing my system at no extra charge. I’m guessing they made about $.30 an hour on this job. Great job and SUPER thorough! Will absolutely go back if I ever need computer help again. Nice guys!

I wrote a review back in September about my unhappy experience with Ryan; he was disrespectful, he didn’t deliver on time as promised, and though he diagnosed the problem correctly, he charged me more than he first quoted. Now, six months later, the work he did failed. My advice: don’t believe all of the glowing reviews on here. I would never take the laptop back to him to fix this.

Ryan is awesome and will take great care of you. I was leaving for a 10 day trip to Thailand on sunday and my PC crapped out on Friday morning. He worked me in and worked late on Friday to fix my PC. He has followed up at no extra cost and I could not recommend him any more highly.

I showed up unannounced with my non-​functioning computer. Ryan was very gracious, diagnosed the problem right away and told me he would order the needed replacement part. He followed up to let me know progress, called me when the computer was ready, and followed up again to make sure everything was working ok.
I was very pleased with Ryan’s timely repair and professional customer service, and will be calling him again if I have problems in the future.

I haven’t written a review in ages but felt that I should for Tek Ease. I was basically pretty desperate since my computer was not turning on properly and I was able to get an appointment the same day. Although there was a slight misunderstanding about the pick up time, Ryan was able to fully fix my old old desktop back to functioning condition. He also explained computer stuff in plain language which definitely helped me since I’m basically computer illiterate. He is amazing with his follow up as well which shows that he really does care what happens even after you leave the shop. He doesn’t try to over charge you or give you ridiculously expensive parts but rather tells you what your computer needs. Would definitely come again and would highly recommend.

Ryan is an expert and a professional. I’ve had my computer back from him for several months now and finally got the time to write a review. I have a high end but 4 year old Lenovo ThinkPad. I didn’t expect much since it was old and I was having so many issues with it, but Ryan’s very reasonably priced repair job made it work better than ever. I have none of the issues I was having before and it runs faster and cleaner. I may actually hang onto this one longer and consider having Ryan upgrade it to a new hard drive.

After reading the amazing reviews here in Unilocal,I brought my laptop to Ryan for a diagnostic, as it was giving me a cooling system error every time I booted up. I brought the laptop to him on November 5th, over two weeks ago. As promised, he called me with an update on the 7th and told me he hadn’t found any smoking guns, but could continue to do some diagnostics to dig further. I was surprised to find out he had not once received the cooling system error that had been plaguing me, but agreed to some more diagnostics.
I use my computer for my work. It is a vital component to my ability to produce income. Since the update I received 13 days ago, I have not received any communication from Ryan about the status of my laptop.
I have called his office number during business hours almost daily for over a week. I have emailed two different email addresses, both

. I finally went into his office at 3222 Tejon St., Studio G yesterday, the 19th of November, to see if I could get any additional information. He was not in, so I asked someone in one of the adjacent businesses if they knew if Ryan from Tek-​Ease was okay. They responded that he had been in the office the day before.
I left a note on the desk in the Tek-​Ease office space and tried calling the office phone number listed on the «out of the office» sign (the same number I have been calling).
I still have not heard from Ryan.
I would love to be another person giving him a glowing review here on Unilocal,but I am now forced to reduce his five-​star average.
His motto on the website is «It’s not your computer, it’s your life!» But, after almost two weeks of non-​communication about my «life», I am very disappointed in this business.

Ryan is a ROCKSTAR IT genius, or computer whisperer, whichever you prefer! Seriously… always shows the utmost professionalism, goes above and beyond, super helpful, and most importantly, of course, he knows his stuff! Ryan was prompt and professional with his repairs. I brought in a Dell Latitude E6410 and he replaced the hard drive with a solid state drive for a reasonable price and definitely in a timely manner. Now my PC is just as fast as my MacBook Air!

Ryan is a life saver! I dropped my laptop on my way to Denver. When i arrived my laptop was not working. Saw the positive reviews on Unilocal and reached out to him. He is very professional, honest, and a pleasure to work with. while he was working on my computer he gave me a loaner laptop so that i could work while he was diagnosing the issue. He was able to repair the problem and was very reasonable in what he charged me.

Tek Ease is awesome. I had a bad hard disk from a fall and dent suffered by my laptop. Ryan met me at his door and explained the options for repair, was upfront about pricing and the time that it would take, and outlined the options for me. He was trying to sell me on replacing my disk drive with a solid state hard drive that was quite a bit more expensive. While I’m usually very wary of this kind of upselling, I found Ryan very trustworthy and knowledgeable so I went with his recommendation. A few days later, my laptop was working better than ever, and I totally love the solid state drive, as it makes my computer twice as fast to operate and extends the battery life significantly.
A couple of things to be aware of – Tek Ease is no longer at the address listed with Unilocal (Bruce Randolph Ave) and since the business is operated out of a residence, you have to make an appointment with Ryan and feel comfortable that you’re not doing business with a storefront operation. I had no problems with this, it just wasn’t what I had initially expected.

I hired Ryan from Tek Ease early this morning for some emergency computer repair services on two laptops in my office. I am a small business owner so having someone I have quick access to is very important especially when it’s someone who is great at what they do.
