Outstanding tacos, and Tony is great, made for the perfect complement to Great Divide.

This food truck has really been more of a 2 star experience for me, but I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt since I’ve never ordered tacos or guacamole(their namesake, after all) from them, and it seems like that is probably the way to go. So, this review is really to tell you what’s NOT the way to go: 1) their green chili cheese fries 2) their breakfast burritos. These green chili cheese fries were literally THE single most disappointing fries I’ve ever eaten. Frozen, unseasoned fries, flavorless(possibly canned?) green chili, sparse cheese… all for a whopping $ 7. Seriously, if you see this truck outside Joyride and you’re craving green chili cheese fries, walk a block over to Sonic instead. It will be the same quality but atleast it won’t cost you 7 bucks. Breakfast burrito was also a huge bummer. Breakfast burritz are my favorite, and it was cheaper than the regular burritos(which cost $ 9), so I was sold… Until I took a bite of it. This was also quite possibly the worst breakfast burrito I’ve eaten. The taste and consistency made me think it was actually made at breakfast and had been sitting in a heating pan for 8 hours. I concede that it may be partially my fault for ordering a breakfast burrito at 7pm, but don’t put it on your menu if you’re not going to serve it fresh. Geez. Overall, I think this food truck is fairly overpriced and underwhelming, but again, it seems to depend on what you get. My friend tried some sort of bacon wrapped jalapenos from here and thought they were absolutely amazing, and they always have really interesting guac ingredients and taco marinades. Some day I’ll give them another try… 3rd time’s a charm, right?
