Hit or miss. Stay away from anything ground there… As far as steaks go they are pretty good. Not sure about actual cleanliness, the station is a bit run down and it makes me wonder what the prep areas look like.

This is the worst place to buy fresh cut meat. First off check the sanitation numbers on the wall, 85.5.I made the mistake of buying from here before i noticed the numbers & I ended up with spoiled meat!!! If u look close enough u can see the brown in all their SO CALLED FRESH MEAT! Just beware before u buy.

As far as amazing meat markets hidden inside of raunchy looking gas stations, it doesn’t get much better than this. Some of the best cuts of meat within 50 miles of Charlotte. I highly recommend spending the extra dollar a pound to get the black angus cuts. Plenty of marinades, rubs, and spices. Not that bad of a wine selection either. Check the weekly specials to find great deals. You can call in advance to get specific cuts, I like my porterhouses cut a little thicker than they do customarily. The seafood is always good, but not always 5 stars. I’d say this place is almost worth the drive even if you don’t live out that way.
