History

Established in 2014.

While Trommeter Orthodontics is a new addition to the Stapleton neighborhood, Dr. Trommeter is no stranger to the area or the families that call Stapleton home. Dr. Trommeter was born and raised in the Park Hill neighborhood where his parents still reside. His family ties to the area run even deeper as his paternal grandparents purchased their family home in Park Hill on 26^th and Forest in January 1960. Dr. Trommeter’s grandfather actually worked as a mechanic at Stapleton International Airport for Continental Airlines. Dr. Trommeter is realizing his professional dream of using his knowledge and talents to inspire confidence and improve the health of the community he has called home for three decades.

Dr. Trommeter grew up on 26^th and Fairfax Street in the Park Hill neighborhood. Much of his formative years were spent playing in yard with his two siblings and half a dozen cousins that also lived in Park Hill. Dr. Trommeter began to consider dentistry as a career because of his orthodontic experience as a teenager. He remembers the swell of confidence and self-​esteem that accompanied the removal of his braces. Orthodontics was the career for him. Blessed Sacrament grade school and Regis Jesuit High School led Dr. Trommeter to pursue a degree in Biomedical Sciences at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He attended dental school at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and was immediately accepted into the Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics specialty program.
