Woof In Boots

Bell and Woody (peekapoos) have been going to Woof in Boots for years and it’s so nice to be able to drop them off and know that they are going to be treated like royalty. Becca is an amazing person and a top notch groomer! Bella has skin tags and Becca amazingly is able to avoid clipping them every time we go in! THe other staff is also amazing! We are looking forward to the Brews and Biscuits in the Spring!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I am not one to give bad reviews but I was mortified as to what I came home to. I took my Greyhound in about a month ago for the «trial» 3 – 4 hour run they make you do before you can make a reservation to board your dog for any longer. I took him for that and all went well. I then took him in a couple weeks later for an overnight boarding to get him more use to it before I left him for 7 days /​6 nights. He also did fine.
I dropped my dog off last Monday to leave him while I went home for the Holidays. I left him with food for all 7 days plus 2 extra. While home, I received no calls from Woof in Boots so I assumed all was well but decided to call half way through my trip to check. They told me he was getting along with the other dogs and was eating fine, they just had to add some pumpkin/​chicken broth to get him to eat it. This was CLEARLY not the case. My boyfriend picked him up yesterday and I got home later that evening. My dog looked like when I picked him up from the kennel. He looks sick, sad and I could see his ribs (which had taken me quite a bit of time to gain him some weight). I then fed him immediately and he ate what he usually eats in 1 day in 1 sitting. He scarfed it down like he hadn’t eaten all week. I completely understand that dogs don’t like being away from home, they get nervous/​stressed and sometimes they don’t eat. But for $ 38 a day, I DO expect the place I board my dog to call me and tell me they are having trouble with him so that we could fix this problem. Not to mention, no one said anything when my boyfriend picked him up and no one seems to have any record of if he actually ate well or not, which it was clear he did not.
Secondly, when I got home and went to take him for a walk, I noticed all of his tags (name tag, rabies tag etc) were missing from his collar. I called Woof in Boots and they said, «Oh yeah, they fell off, we have them here at the front desk if you want to come get them.» Not only did they fall off and not get put back on IMMEDIATELY, they forgot to give them back when he got picked up and expected me to go back and get them. Needless to say, I told them they would be mailing those to me.
Lastly, I was rubbing my dogs belly when I got home and noticed a 1 inch wound on his stomach. It was scabbed over but puffy around the edges and blood was crusted around the area. I don’t even know what happened while he was there but no one seemed to know about it when I called to confront them. I also understand that dogs play and wrestle and that may have easily been the case but SOMEONE should have seen this and said something to my boyfriend when he was picked up at the least.
None of these things would have been issues if this place had watched what my dog was doing while there and confronted me when the issues arose. It seems as if they are wanting to hide what happened.
I know this place has mainly all good reviews which is what I trusted when I decided to leave my pup here. I will never take my dog here ever again. For $ 38.00/night I can get MUCH better care. I wasted $ 167 for my dog to not be taken care of and that is unacceptable. I feel so horrible for my dog and I hope that no one else ever has to experience something like this with their animal.

Erica is so amazing! She grooms my Australian Shepherd and my German Shepherd and they love her! They always look so amazing and everybody I’ve met there has been extremely nice and welcoming! I will forever go to Erica to make my fur babies look good!

I had a hard time finding a really good cat groomer. Woof in Boots did a great job grooming my cat, she was happy and I was happy too! I recommend woof in boots for dogs and cats =)

Love this place, it’s definitely our go-​to in Denver. Easy and convenient to drop off and pick up our dog. Last time I was out of town my dog got sick from something she ate beforehand and she received excellent care while I was away, which was a huge relief. Thanks Woof in Boots!

I have now taken my little Shihpoo puppy, Maybelle, here twice to be groomed and I just had her boarded over this past holiday weekend. I’m sad and embarrassed to say, but I think the staff here takes better care of my beloved fur child than I do!!! I come in today to pick her up and she is laying in the office chair sleeping next to another friend she had made! It was one of the most adorable things I had ever seen. They also had a television behind the desk playing videos of the puppies and my sweet girl was already featured on the screen!
Woof in Boots has an amazing staff, they seem to all get along and absolutely love what they do! Rebecca has groomed Maybelle twice now and goes above and beyond. I can be a little nit picky at times and I can tell Rebecca has the same eye for perfection.
Bottom line: Pricing is beyond reasonable and less expensive than I had anticipated, especially with the care and services they provide. This will be the forever place where I can bring my baby for grooming, boarding and daycare. Hands down.

I wanted to drop a note regarding WiB and the incredible service they perform. I have a gregarious and emotionally needy bulldog. John, Vincent, Sarah and the rest of the team at Woof In Boots make life easier for me and my buddy, Moe. They always remember him and welcome him enthusiastically when we arrive. He is happy to arrive and eager to get in and see his Woof In Boots family and that means a lot to me as I can go about my day with one less thing to worry about. They do a great job here and I can tell they truly care about all of the dogs they are trusted with. If you’ve checked out out some other dog daycare/​boarding facilities, the difference in service is immediately obvious. I’d recommend this team to anyone who loves their dog!

AMAZING… in Denver we have lots of choices… mostly great but very costly!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them… great staff my dog was not exited to leave :(If you don’t know now u know.

I am so happy to have found Woof and Boots! The staff at WIB treats my pup, Hazel, like one of their own. They seem genuinely excited to see her when I bring her in. I always feel safe leaving her here and I am guaranteed to pick up a happy and exhausted dog at the end of the day.
I can’t recommend this place enough!

My dog is a grumpy old man, and does not take to strangers very well. With that said I only trust him with Jen. She is amazing, super gentle, and gives you that reassuring feeling that she truly enjoys her job! I have been going to her for years, and will continue to follow her wherever she goes! If you treat your dog like family and want a good groomer I would highly recommend Jen!!!

The quality of service here is amazing. Everyone in there is always so happy to greet me and my dog that I feel great leaving my animals in good hands for the day or a few days at Woof in Boots. Their painting evenings are great too if you haven’t gone.

Great staff, great prices, and great workmanship. I have been to other groomers in Denver for my cat but haven’t been happy with the cut. The cat looks great, wasn’t too traumatized (which happens) and they even finished a little early. I will definitely be taking Mugatu back!

Instantly loved it. I got my dog groomed here. I called them the night before and told me to bring him by in the morning. My dog needed his anal glands expelled as well and the owner told me she would not change me if they couldn’t get anything out. When she couldn’t, she recommended a vet. Perfect.
My absolute favorite thing though, was that they let all of the dogs run around together before and after being groomed (as opposed to putting them in crates). My dog was so happy and so tired and we are so grateful.

If I could give all the Unilocal stars in all the world to the staff at Woof in Boots, I would. They are so wonderful and my crazy little chihuahua loves them so much!
The facility is extremely clean. Big dogs have their own space as do the littles which is probably why it always seems peaceful and the dogs very content.
I have done both doggy daycare as well as a five day boarding stint and can’t recommend Woof in Boots enough!

Oh dear. How have I not reviewed Woof In Boots yet? It’s only the go-​to place we depend on when going on a long vacation or just a quick weekend trip. No matter the occasion or how little advance notice we give them, they are always prepared to take in our little schnauzer and boxer in.
Plus, they care for our pups with genuine car and it’s so evident. We don’t live to far, and anytime we walk by, they run outside to greet our hounds. The dogs are always wiped out when they come home, which makes me feel confident that we are leaving them in good hands with lots of playtime when we are away.

I have taken my dog here several times to be groomed now. Each time I get the same wonderful groomer (Make sure and tip your groomers people). Its been about a month since I took my dog in, and everyday she looks cuter. The groomers really groom based on your needs and what they know will make your dog look great.
The staff is wonderful and professional and always have their dogs with them which I totally envy.
They could maybe vinegar the shit out of their floors because the place stinks, but they do well in the categories that really matter. Me smelling pee for the 4 minutes I am in the place is fine when my dog leaves happy and looking great

We first were introduced to Woof in Boots by Vincent, when we left our dog Dylan with him for Dog Vacay. We enjoyed our experience and decided to make an appointment for a grooming at Woof in Boots.
Dylan is a collie husky with an insane amount of hair. In the past, we have made appointments with other groomers that had to be made months in advance, and we were disappointed with the results. We were able to get an appointment at Woof in Boots right away and they did an amazing job on Dylan! Dyl does not enjoy being groomed, but the staff was very polite and professional about his behavior issues (which we were very apologetic about and completely willing to pay an extra $ 10 handling fee for). The groomer did exactly what we wanted and Dylan looks and smells wonderful! :) We will definitely use Woof in Boots again.

A great place for dogs to socialize. We board our two dogs here, one loves everyone and the other can be a total dick. Once we started boarding them at WiB the a-​hole dog started being way more chill with other dogs and visitors to the house. Their inclusion method of boarding/​daycare really helped our dog to adapt to new faces and other dogs. The staff is incredible, they genuinely seem to love animals and their jobs.
My only complaint (and it is minor) is the cost. WiB is a bit more expensive than other places, but this is an instance where you get what you pay for. I appreciate their care and exceptional service.

I have no idea how Tammy S. had the experience she did but Vincent and Woof in Boots is absolutely as good as it gets when it comes to daycare/​boarding.

as well and my trip was the very next day! Vincent took the time to do a pet interview to see how my dog would interact with his and his cats. He took the time to walk me around his home which is practically made for pets! There is a dog run, a relaxing sun deck, couches, toys, anything you can imagine to make a pet-​mom at ease, he had. In addition, Vincent was very responsive through the entire process, not once did I feel ignored or nervous.
After he took me around the house for the tour, he allowed Buster and I to go over to the daycare for a tour there as well. You can truly tell the entire staff at Woof in Boots adores pets. As soon as I walked in the door, they had Buster take his leash off and get to go explore. There was only one dog in a kennel in the back and that was because he was having dinner and you could tell he was not in there long.
I appreciated the time Vincent took to show me and Buster around because I have had individuals before who just take him by the leash, say «thank you» and shut the door, this was absolutely not the case with Woof in Boots. They truly care about ensuring you are comfortable and that you know your fur-​baby is in good hands.
I have since changed daycares to Woof in Boots for all of my pet needs and will not go to any other daycare/​boarding facility. I completely spoil my dog and with the staff here, it is top of the line. I absolutely trust each of them 100% to treat Buster as their own which I have not been let down yet nor do I foresee that ever occurring.
This is the very first daycare where I had to convince my dog to leave. At all other places, he looks like he was just freed out to sunshine for the first time but with Woof in Boots he has so much freedom and friends he has made that he never wants to leave.
This is hands down the best daycare/​boarding experience I have come across and I have non-​stop referred friends over.
