Wyman’s is the place for all things Chicago. Bears games are a blast. Chicago dogs are SO close to perfect(you’ve got to steam the bun!). Italian beefs are nearly on point, just the wrong bread roll. Pizza is delicious, excellent sauce and crust is perfect. I wish they had a traditional crust but you can’t go wrong with the deep dish. The staff are pretty awesome. The bartenders have even taken their time learning my name, which is just what I wanted out of my neighborhood bar. If you’re from Chicago and like pizza & sports, which is 99% of people from the motherland, do yourself a favor and have yourself a night at Wyman’s.

Wasn’t into it. The service was good, friendly waitstaff, but I thought the pizza was sub par and the rest of the menu looked like bad Italian and unremarkable bar food. It’s definitely a good layout, I like their booths and high tables, but the soundtrack was shitty rock. I think it’s fine for a low key spot/sports bar, but it was too generic to be cool.

Drove here after a NYE Hawks/Avs game. Hawks won so we were pumped and still looking to party. Found Wyman’s through searches and thought, well, that ought to be fun! Maybe we went too late? There weren’t a lot of people there. Didn’t receive too festive of greetings from staff. It was just too tame in there for an amazing Hawks win AND it was NYE. Ordered a thin crust«Midway Monsta». It was just ok. All in all, it was just underwhelming. We left before midnight to find somewhere else more exciting. The staff were high-fiving and hugging on locals. This is def a locals hang-out.

I love coming here when I’m in Colorado. Especially for Chicago sport games. Pizza is always on point! I do have to say our waiter seemed a little annoyed. I don’t know what it was. Maybe he was having a bad day or what but just seemed like he didn’t want to be there. We got a large pizza and two beers for $ 23.00 so no problem there. Just wish our waiter didn’t seem so down. But we will defiantly be back!

I live down the street and absolutely love this place. True Chicago pub, with true Chicago food, drinks, and service. Always a fun spot to go to watch Chicago sports. The servers are secretly super nice, but come off as grouchy… but if you stick around and talk with them, they are great. I always have a good time there, and always enjoy my food and beer.

Personally I think the thin crust pizza is better than the thick crust. Prices are pretty reasonable. Beer selection could be alot better. We have so many great local micro brews but hard to find much more than Coors, Guinness and Stella on tap. What leaves a bad taste in my mouth is the poor customer service. Maybe they cater primarily to regulars or just can’t keep up during game days. Either way, I have both ordered in and picked up when my order is wrong. They charged me 1.25 to substitute a pizza topping and than didn’t even get it right. Rather than just giving me my money back or crediting me, they told me I could wait 20 minutes and come back for the corrected pizza. Just bad customer service. I live 1 block away but I will find another local pizzeria to support from now on.

Met up with friends here on a Wednesday night. It wasn’t dead, but it wasn’t crowded either. There was a nice rumbling little crowd in to watch a hockey game on TV. Otherwise, it wasn’t packed and crazy. It’s the kind of place you want to get comfortable in. Yet service wasn’t the greatest. My group was there before me and the server seemed to be on the ball with drinks. When the pizzas were ordered on the other hand, she seemed to all but disappear. The whole process of getting the check took a good amount of time, waiting for her to appear. She was nowhere to be found and since we were all waiting to get our checks signed and leave for the night, I decided to try to bring them up to her when I saw her at the bar. She told me to wait, and proceeded to go take care of a couple of tables and chat it up with them. Meanwhile, I just stood at the bar waiting. I thought that was kind of inconsiderate since I was standing right there and we had been waiting for her long enough. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like knowing that someone else is literally waiting around for me. I’d like to hope that this experience is not normal, and I’d like to be able to recommend this place if I can. I would be ok with returning if it’s in the cards to give it a second chance. The pizza wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was decent and not terrible. I’ve had better deep dish. I just didn’t love the crust, reminded me more of toast. On the plus side, they have 312 if you’re into that. Hard to come by around here.

Stopped in on my last night in town(I’m from Chicago) with my boyfriend, we were greeted right away and got beers fast. We were serviced by multiple bartenders which I have zero problem with because we were taken care of greatly, as soon as our beers were empty we were asked for new ones. The food… It made me feel right at home. I had a calzone which was delicious! The pizza sauce was just how I like it, and my boyfriend got the Italian beef which he loved! He finished all of it. He never finishes an entire meal. We were in watching the Blackhawks game and encountered some other really cool people from back home and all around this place just had a nice feel to it. We will be back!!!

Such a great environment to catch Chicago games! Went to watch a Cubs playoff game, and the place was filled with Chicago fans(a great thing, in my opinion!). They have some typical Chicago foods, but the atmosphere is really what makes this place fun.

This is a local Chicago bar so be prepared for crowds when Cubs or Bears are playing. Overall, the service was good but this ambience was way too loud. I could barely hold a conversation with a person sitting next to me. Otherwise, prices are reasonable. Parking is also hellish is this neighborhood so be prepared to walk a few blocks.

Food was good, beer was cold. Place was packed due to the Cubs game.(That’s actually why we were there.) They were quick to bring more beers, but it was too loud for the server to hear our appetizer order. So we thought we ordered something, but he thought we hadn’t. We ended up having to flag someone else down to put in the order. A decent experience, and it was nice to be at the Chicago bar to watch Chicago sports.

+ Decent Chicago Style Pizza + They have Old Style Beer + Fantastic environment for watching 312 sports! + Prices are reasonable + Authentic, cozy, divey interior. — Bartenders aren’t very friendly to non-regulars.

I’m not an expert on Chicago style pizza, so I didn’t know what to expect from this place. I was excited to try it Since I love New York style pizza but maybe that’s why I’m biased. We ordered a regular deep dish pie, 14 inch size with pineapple and ham, over the phone. We were hanging out at the ice cream parlor next door and it took about 25 to 30 minutes for our pizza to be ready. When we got home the pizza was still hot 10 minutes later, it tasted good but a little bit gritty. There was a lot of semolina on the crust on the bottom it seems. The pizza actually tasted better as leftovers the next day in my opinion. I think they offer New York style pizza as well, so I’ll go back and try that. I’m guessing if I like their New York style pizza, it’ll mean that their Chicago style is authentic, and also that I don’t like Chicago style pizza

If I could do 3.5 stars that would be my rating. Really enjoyed this place. Came here Saturday specifically to watch the ILLINI game. The place was empty at 11:30 but by the time we left — around 2 — folks were coming in. We loved our bartender — he was friendly, timely and showed interest in everyone sitting at his bar. We got a small deep dish with pepperoni, sausage, meatball. It was really good and quite enough for the two of us. Why not 4 stars? I’m not a fan of pinesol and that is the first thing I smelled when walking into the bar. Granted — it just opened and the smell went away as soon as the kitchen got busy — but it reminds me of old college haunts that threw buckets of Clorox and pinesol after a really busy night. It just grosses me out.

This is a neighborhood dive that I kinda enjoy… but I’m an attractive female that rarely has more than 3 beers in this place, so I never have any problems with the staff. The table service can be slow if it’s busy — but flag them down and they’re more than happy to get you another round. STRONGSUGGESTION: check to see if there’s a Chicago sporting event of any variety going on before rolling in here. You will not get a seat(or leave with two fully functioning eardrums) if the Chi’s on screen. And to the people that created Unilocal accounts to complain about someone’s brother not being served *because he had a vertical ID* — many bars in Denver have this policy. Technically his vertical ID is no longer valid the day he turns 21, and they can’t serve to anyone with a temporary or expired piece of identification. Mentioning that he has Down Syndrome is irrelevant, and it’s misleading(not to mention insulting to him) to go bandying that bit throughout your reviews. Shame on you for trying to embarrass a business that sticks by its policies, regardless of your personal needs!

EXCEPTIONAL Chicago style pizza… in a super lousy bar. In my opinion, it is a shame that Wyman’s is less of a restaurant and more of a bar. It is literally the kind of bar where you may see someone standing drunken on a table on a Sunday evening(as we did). We were there for the pizza, most others were there to get hammered. So you’ve got the picture… good! The pizza is fantastic– reminds me of my girlhood days chowing down at Giordano’s back in chi –town. Fabulous crust. Layers of sliced mozzarella, sauce, and tasty ingredients– they nailed it! Definite fork & knife windy city Pizza. Hop on the El and come on down! Oh, and service: severely understaffed. The one server and one bartender were no match for the 10 – 15 full tables downing shots and/or noshing pizza. I served the pizza to the table myself, plus found to go boxes on my own…

Ambiance is 5 stars if you’re from Chicago. Half of the bar is dedicated to Chicago sports but the other half shows Denver games. Besides the awesome fact that they show Hawks games, this place is not that great. Service sucks. They only have two bartenders who are also the cocktail waiters/servers. It’s painfully slow and it’s usually busy during games. I’m not sure how they think that’s enough staffing! Forget about splitting bills by couples, they have no system of remembering. Constant miscommunications. Food is not good. We’ve tried the teriyaki wings and the Caribbean jerk wings. Both have a smoky sauce flavor and it’s terrible. The wings themselves are small and soggy. The tator tots were barely cooked and had no crisp, tasted old! How hard use it to stick em in the fryer real quick? Deep dish pizza was a joke. Pepperoni rolls are dry. Nachos are good but it’s hard to mess up chips, cheese, and guac. They use Velveeta cheese. Friends said hot dogs are good but I was over it at that point. They do have beer and food specials during games and during happy hour but check your bill because they forget to ring it in as happy hour.
