Here at Drs. Branstetter and Sparks, we pride ourselves in providing full scope optometry for your entire family. Whether you are age 1 or 101, our three optometrists, Dr. Laura Branstetter, Dr. Rebecca Sparks, and Dr. Jennifer Carr are prepared to serve you. Our office is equipped with state of the art technology, a well-​trained, knowledgeable staff, and a fashion-​forward optical. Drs. Branstetter, Sparks and Carr are always welcoming new patients. We are open a variety of hours, including two Saturdays a month, to accommodate your busy schedule. Business Owner

Dr. Branstetter moved to Derby as a small child. She attended Derby schools from Kindergarten to her senior year. After graduating from Derby High School, she attended the KU and earned her Biology degree in 1986. Dr. B completed her post-​graduate studies at the University of Houston in 1990 with her Doctor of Optometry degree. Her practice emphasizes primary care for all ages, contact lenses, and the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease. She currently is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Kansas Optometric Association, the Derby Rotary Club, the Derby Chamber of Commerce and Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity. Dr. B resides in Derby with her husband and has two children.

Dr. Sparks moved with her family to the Derby area in 1980. She is a proud graduate of Rose Hill High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science at K-​State in 1992. Her post-​graduate studies were completed at the University of Missouri at St. Louis in 1996.
