I worked with attorney Gayle Carr, specifically, so I can’t speak for the other members of this firm. However, I thought Gayle was excellent. First, she did not charge an outrageous retainer fee. Other attorneys asked for two or three times the retainer she requested. Second, I found her legal advice was always on the money. She was aware that I had very little money to fight a long battle in court during my divorce (ah, the first marriage!) and was very careful with the time she spent/​billed on my case.
In the end, I didn’t do particularly well in the divorce settlement, but that was my own darn fault, not hers! I spent too much time feeling guilty and bad and not enough time listening to her advice. Hopefully, you won’t need to see a divorce lawyer, but if you do, she’s excellent. I have referred her to other friends and colleagues and all of them have been impressed with her knowledge, courtesy, and professionalism.
