History

Established in 2013.

CFI and Data Recovery was founded in 2013 by Blaine Hamill after he retired from Law Enforcement. Mr. Hamill founded the company to provide Computer Forensic Investigations to Des Moines and throughout Iowa.

With his background and training in Law Enforcement he knows what it takes to maintain the chain of custody for evidence.

Business Owner

Blaine Hamill founded CFI and Data Recovery L.L.C. after retiring from his career in Law Enforcement. During his career he worked for nine years in the criminal investigations division of a department in central Iowa. Mr Hamill investigated crimes including Homicide, Sexual Assault, Robbery, Forgery, Fraud, Narcotics, and Computer crimes.

He became a Computer Forensic Examiner while being a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. He provided examinations for several local and Federal Agencies.
