I recently finished my Makeup School with New Age Spa Institute in Arlington Hts. I love Mrs. Lisa Voigt-Shor, my makeup teacher. She is very professional, she gave me great tips how to build my makeup business. Very friendly person with such a warm heart.
School is great, good and easy connection to the highway as well.

I’m very pleased with my recent experience with both locations. Jasmine who was doing my meni/pedi was excellent esthetitian, very detailed and professional. She spent 150 minutes pampering my nails. The result was awesome. I highly recommend that girl. The place is very clean and specious (Arlington Heights). You can’t beat their prices and if you have lots of time to spare, make an appointment with this spa.
The next day I scheduled another appointment for full leg wax with Des Plaines location. My experience again was pleasant and I’m very satisfied with the outcome. The students try their best and you just can’t go wrong with them. Definitely looking forward to the next appointment :)

Nancy is the best! Be sure to request her for your facial needs — she is very thorough, extremely nice, patient, and wonderful wonderful wonderful!!! I was referred here by a co-worker. You walk in, they greet you, and the staff requests a little assessment for you to fill out (about your skin history/medication, etc.). When your appointment time comes, they have you undress to a little robe (just your top off), and leads you to one of the rooms. It’s not private, but it’s quiet nonetheless with a new age/classical music playing. Your assigned esthetician (mine was Margaret) has you lie down, and they wrap you up in the towel and some blankets to make you a bit more cozy with a little pillow for under your knees. After a few questions and what type of facial you’re requesting, she begins her magic. All the creams, scrubs, and God knows what else smells absolutely divine, and it seems as if you’re getting an aromatherapy session at the same time. I have an extremely dehydrated and a sensitive skin, so she did say that the burning is expected — however, after you get through the slight pain and discomfort, your skin becomes equalized with their Bioelements products. The sessions lasts an hour (sometimes more!). The experience was quite relaxing, and their last appointment is at 7:30 or so — the place closes around 9, so coming after work or when you have a day off is ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! And, instead of paying over $ 100 for this type of treatment at upscale salons, you only pay a fraction of the cost. It’s an institute with certified and in-training estheticians. There’s a small lot for your cars, and it’s right between River Roads and Rand Road in a plaza. Kind of easy to miss, but when you find it, no problem. Make sure to book your appointments before you leave since this place gets jampacked. Margaret was also awesome, and she was also informative on what I should do take care of my skin. I’m a HUGE FAN! I also saw a couple of male customers, so males are welcome — bring your boyfriends, fiances, fathers, in-laws or grandfathers! Other services are available as well, such as body wraps, waxing, etc.

Yay, I’m a Fan but only of the nail tech not the instructors…
During a recent visit to get my nails done at the New Age Spa Institute in Arlington Heights I was appalled at what I saw. An instructor should convey constructive criticism not harrassment and bullying toward a student. As a client, the instructor (Tiffany) was very demeaning to my nail tech and didn’t care who was there to witness this act. I truly feel for the students that have to learn in such a hostile environment. As a client along with many others in disbelief, I could not believe was I was seeing and hearing. I’m sure this post will be removed, but I wil definitely be contacting higher management.

Great school with super wonderful instructors and passionate students. I came here to get microdermabrasion and it was incredible. In the process of getting it, not only did a fall asleep a few times but I also felt like I was far away from home on vacation. This place is above and beyond!!!

Woo Hoo!
If you are as cheap as I am and you want to look simply scrumptous pls call them.
They (used to be totally free). Now the first time you go to them your treatment is free. The next time, depending on what you get — you will pay anywhere from 20 – 30 dollars.
They do THE WORKS, baby. glycolic peels, microdermabrasions, reg facials, waxing. My daughter had some kind of electrolic acne thingy there.
When you are done with their facials you get a neck massage, hand treatment or facial massage.
The beauty products there by bioelements are great. The only thing I didn’t think was worth it there was a fade cream. (didn’t work)
