Just terrible. They continue to allow a neighbor to slam his door, often in a drunken frenzy all night. several nights a week. There is no screening of new tenants. Repair projects are poorly mismanaged and drag on for months. Why would I care about repair projects? There’s a portable toilet outside my window and, because this management company picks such great vendors, they decide to clean, empty and replace units at 4:00 a.m. So I can’t get any sleep at night and, because this façade project has become a lifetime affair, I can’t get any sleep in the morning either. The guy who comes and services my unit says it’s located in a bad place — I ask him, «Why he doesn’t move it?». He literally scratches his head and mumbles, «Your management company wants it that way.» C’est la vie.
I’ve e-​mailed incessantly about a drunk on this floor constantly slamming his door at night. Nothing was done about it. Tairre Sutton even seemed incredulous, «You mean A. I can’t believe it!» Hmm, just because he has a string of titles and does some philanthropy, doesn’t mean he’s a great guy. Perhaps it’s this sort of naïveté that’s destroying the U.S. Fortunately, it resolved itself when the man in question finally found his first job at 38 years old. Recently, as I passed him in the hall of my building, he turned to his girlfriend and said, «I can’t believe he told Tairre I was a drunk.» The girlfriend retorted, «You WERE drinking a lot last summer.»
Update: Is anyone going to curb the behavior of the maintenance guy? Do I need to start a blog with photographs detailing how often I see him in the lobby allegedly «maintaining» an area that’s –what? — 15 by 30 feet? Why do I care? His presence would better serve the building if he were on duty between 11:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. He’s a gossipy troublemaker and, quite frankly, the building could do with some better care.
For example, I can’t recall the number of times he’s told me he received a gift from this or that tenant. He went on and on recently about an old North Face coat that he received as a coat (he must have told everyone about this — I personally saw him tell at least two tenants, as well as the UPS driver and a contractor). Yet, he doesn’t appear to believe me about the noise on my floor and coveys a different picture to Tairre Sutton. When he was on my floor yesterday, he said to a neighbor about me, «He’s quiet NOW. I never know when he’s in or out. But I don’t what he does when I’, no here.» Of course the neighbor quickly replied, «He’s always quiet, M.» It’s absurd. Do I need to bribe him? Security cameras don’t lie. X06 comes home at 1:00 a.m., X07 comes home at 2:00 a.m., and X08 comes home at 3:00 a.m. When the old elevator was still elevator was still operative, it would remain at the last floor where it discharged its most recent passenger. Lo and behold, after being awoken, I would push the call button and the door would immediately open. It means Tairre is not screening new tenants, but is quick to take the $ 500.00 move-​in fee. That fee could used as a basic background check (unless she’s dumb enough to think a credit check tells all, the drug dealer at my last place apparently had a superb credit rating!).

I have nothing but good things to say about Tairre Management! They really care about the properties they manage, and are very quick to respond if there is a problem! That in not something you always get from a property manager.

Can not say enough great things about TMS. Open communication; experts in their field; quick to respond to issues; exceedingly professional. If you need a condo management company, they are the ONLY ones who can really do the job!

They’ll raise your association fees yearly, and their communication couldn’t be more prompt when sending you the bill or letting you know your fees are increased. Just be sure never to need them to act on your behalf, because they develop a sudden and serious case of alligator arms and suddenly lose all ability to respond to more than one e-​mail a day.
