Description

Specialties

Want to getaway from it all? Maybe try an escape to an oasis in the desert? The El Morocco Inn & Spa might be just the ticket…

You can slip into our silky mineral spring-fed swimming pool and Jacuzzi style spa (with over 15 jets!) anytime of the day or night as we are an adult only environment. Enjoy an expanded daily complimentary continental breakfast, along with a nightly complimentary happy hour where we serve our signature drink, the «Morocco-tini» a sake based Martini.

So…are we an Inn, a motel, a hotel, a Bed and Breakfast or what? We’ve been called a «Spa-tel» (a hybrid word for spa and hotel) & offer 12 guestrooms & over 20 different massage and spa services for day use also.

This boutique inn was voted «One of the Most Romantic Inns in the Country», because it’s an unexpected getaway. Check Room Availability, and especially our Discounted Spa Packages online ANYTIME by going to our website @ www.elmoroccoinn.

History

Established in 1955.

Built in the 1955 as a «Spa-tel» (the locals named the inns after the words Spa and Hotel) this place got it’s start because of the abundant hot mineral springs which flow into the swimming pool and spa from our own private well.

As the years went by, with the advent of the «Palm Springs Weekend» crowd, the popularity of the area grew and grew, but with it came a pretty rowdy crowd (who doesn’t like to have a good time?) as well so…

the inn fell into disrepair and sat nearly empty-except for a few lost souls until early in 2001-when the place was discovered by avid inn-lovers.

Reborn as the El Morocco Inn & Spa, the idea was to give folks a spot they could come and «take the waters», have amazing Massage and Spa services and generally just relax-having a quality experience with a good friend or loved one. It seems to be working!

Business Owner

Having run large hotels and inns for quite a while, folks began to notice I was really the «hands on» manager type and suggested I buy a small place where I might be of great service to my guests while helping them feel genuinely welcomed.

You might think you’re coming to stay at an inn… but I think the El Morocco is an experience-my aim is to help you feel as «transported» as possible. I love doing this, love people, and have found my passion. I’d love it if you’d come and give this place a try!
