Super accommodating and peaceful place, it wasn’t busy when we visited. That made it extra special and private. Loved everything there, couples massage was great. Just one thing was a minus, which is not their fault is that they have to add a little chlorine by law. Bummer, I wish it was hot spring as is. Otherwise a wonderful and relaxing spa.

Wonderful place! Arthur was a gracious host from the moment we called on phone to find out about this place. He told us about the $ 60 day fee per person which includes a half hour massage! Great deal. The massage was wonderful and the resort grounds are very beautiful with amazing views. will definitely come back!

Great weekend getaway for my wife and I to reconnect and be rejuvinated. We were able to relax and found the accommodation clean and well kept. Room 13 had nice views of the mountains on both sides of the valley. The resort has a Mediterranean theme throughout. It was a windy weekend but the facilities were well protected and didn’t affect us much. The gardens were nice places to relax and hear the small fountains of running water where we found beds and sofas for us to lounge on. Hummingbirds were fun to watch as they bathed in the fountains and perched in the trees. They looked like they were just as relaxed as the guests. The pools were warm and inviting and we spent hours soaking. There were beds and plenty of places for us to lounge on in the pool area. Their Spa facilities was also as nice as the room and staff very pleasant.

My husband and I have been coming here since our first wedding anniversary in 2010. This hotel is an absolute treasure, everything about it is just magical, from the clean and well decorated romantic rooms, exquisite cactus garden, wonderful pools, not to mention the wonderful owners! They are so pleasant and delightful and really make you feel at home. The breakfast is delicious! Lastly, the spa is phenomenal, best massages ever, I highly recommend Art. This is a destination for peaceful relaxation, tranquility and a quiet calm surrounds the serene premises, a peaceful escape from the busy city. Love this place so much and look forward to many more visits here.

Just returned from an incredible «Staycation» here! The heated natural spring pools were the perfect start to the most relaxing and pampered 24 hours I can recall. Everyone was professional and courteous. The Tuscan signature massage and facial were both divine. We started our morning with a soak in the mineral spring Roman Bath, with a cup of hot French press coffee. Then on to a lovely continental self serve breakfast of toasted bagel with cream cheese fresh tomato and avocado, local Coachella grapefruit and more delicious French press coffee. Having so much fun talking to other guests we were almost late for our morning massage! Lucky for us we didn’t miss it. Wonderful and relaxing and lots of aromatherapy. I can’t thank Camelia, Arthur and Nicoletta enough for a little taste of paradise in Desert Hot Springs! Looking forward to my next visit.

Cute little place in Desert Hot Springs. Like most other places in the area, the location does not have indoor/​gated parking, which is too bad. However, at least it didn’t seem to be in a sketchy looking part of Desert Hot Springs like some locations. The place has one warm pool and two jacuzzis. It also has a hot room, but I recommend turning it on about 30 minutes prior because it took forever to warm up and we ended up leaving because we didn’t want to wait. Webpage is not as intuitive to navigate through. I tried looking up availability and thought everything was booked up, but it turns out, I had to change the drop down for different rooms to find out if different rooms were booked. It was $ 405 for one massage for two people and one night, so it’s not cheap but not going to break the bank either.
They have specials, so make sure to check them out online. Rooms are standard and have a homey type of feel — don’t expect the Ritz. The gardens are nice and the place was very quiet, which I liked. I had a massage, which was relaxing and nice — the facilities are clean and the masseuses were pleasant. Someone even came and knocked on our door to get us for our massage since we were running a couple of minutes late. The rooms come with robes, which we wore to our massages and to the pool. They also provide nicely smelling shampoo (mango coconut) and rooms have air/​heaters (not centralized).
The pool are is nice — there’s a great view of the mountains. There are also cabanas. Unfortunately, the weather was a little on the colder side when we went, so we didn’t get to take advantage of the cabanas, but I can see it being a nice spot during the summer. Continental breakfast is provided — nothing to rave about — but it was something to tide us over before we left. They do have a TV with a DVD player built in, but interestingly enough, there were no DVDs available in the library like there were at two previous places I have been to. It wasn’t a big deal since I don’t watch TV anyway, but you might want to bring your own DVDs if that’s what you want to do. Wifi was terrible, though — it was sooo slow, so I ended up just using my phone data instead of wifi.
Otherwise, everything was pleasant, and I’d return!

Beautiful, cozy and intimate. One of the best hotels I have ever visited!

My mom and I spent several hours in the wonderful pools overlooking the Coachella Valley before our spa treatments. I had a Roman rain massage with an add on 30 minute scalp treatment with Concepción and it was perfect. My mom had a body wrap + massage add on with Colleen and was equally loving it. The manager was so helpful and welcoming. We felt comfortable and relaxed from the moment we entered. We spoke to a woman who was staying there for a considerable length of time and she loved it.

I got married in Pioneertown this weekend and my (new) husband and I needed a couple days to decompress on our own. We booked a mini-​moon at Tuscan Springs and are very happy. It is very well appointed and the fact that you can use the amenities 24 hours is really nice as we tend to sleep at 2AM most nights which doesn’t line up with a lot of properties. We are here on a Sunday and Monday night in late October and it is not crowded, which is lovely for an intimate couples relaxation stint. The 24 hour snack lounge is lovely and the breakfast spread is lovely. Camellia, the owner, is a gracious hostess and we feel very welcome.

Relaxing, clean and fun. I really have nothing to compare with so its hard to judge. But the service was friendly and very welcoming. The pool was clean and the hot spring water was pleasant. They provide a small kitchen with little finger snakcs to nibble on ranging from fruit, bread, and a side of coffee. Overall I had a nice time and above all else, my friends and family enjoyed themselves.

Generally, the Tuscan Hot Springs is a nicely appointed hot spring venue. However, the dying bird in the pools area will prevent me from returning (read below).
My boyfriend and I have frequented many hot springs resorts around CA and decided to stop by for a few hours on the way home to LA from Joshua Tree recently.
Pros:
–Nicely furnished, decorated and clean in all areas.
–The pools area is beautiful with day beds, loungers, a warm pool and a hot jaccuzzi, a tepid soaking pool and a sauna.
–Lounge room where one can make tea or water.
Cons:
Jacuzzi was a bit dirty with floating skin and hair and we were there at 1030am. The sauna was bone cold.
The jacuzzi is at 104 degrees but the other pools are much cooler, leaving that the only one that was really comfortable.
The wind was completely uncomfortable-​even our towels were blowing away. Its perched right on the valley so the wind comes tearing through.
And last but the definite deal breaker are the glass walls that enclose the pool space. While they provide a view of the unappealing valley and a beautiful mt range, they are a DEATH TRAP for birds.
Within the first 10 minutes of settling in, a pair of birds flew hard into the glass walls, and one was fatally injured. Unfortunately, it did not die on impact. It suffered a hemorrage from its skull and possibly a broken neck. It flopped around, bleeding all over the deck, crying for a good 10 minutes trying to fly away. Mercifully, it then passed. It was incredibly painful and sad to watch this beautiful bird suffer.
When I reported the dead bird to the woman at the front desk, she said «Oh, that happens ALL THE TIME». I suggested that they apply some kind of visual indicators on the glass walls that would alert the birds to the presence of the walls – to prevent all that needless suffering (and trauma on the customer part). Her reply: «Oh, that would ruin the view».
I was floored. Really? Is any view worth that? That statement summed up the mentality of those managing this spa: the view is worth more then suffering.
So while I might have returned, that sealed the deal for me. I will choose a place in the future that holds a reciprocal and caring relationship with the world around them as a critical part of their business philosophy.

The setting around is so bad and the pool doesn’t smells good. Doesn’t worth the money

My boyfriend and I just got back from an extremely relaxing few days at Tuscan Springs.
We have never been to a resort that sat atop its own hot spring so this was an awesome a new experience for us! We were told the water in the area was highly rated. Everything from the shower to the pool water were all from the natural springs. It made your skin feel silky and was delicious to drink.
The Roman bath themed pool was extremely relaxing and romantic despite the horrifically windy conditions and chilly evenings.
Camilia, the owner, is very sweet and made us feel extremely welcome. We toured a couple of other spa resorts in the area while there and we both agreed that Tuscan Springs was BY FAR the nicest and best kept we saw.
All of the décor is Italian. It was so very well thought out from the lighting fixtures to the door handles. The entire resort is relaxing and calming. It has a library filled with magazines, books and games. We got our fill of magazines that we wouldn’t have normally had the time to peruse. It was great!
There are several intimate seating areas all over the resort including day beds, outdoor fireplaces, comfortable couches and chaise lounges, where you can relax, read a book, have a cocktail, eat breakfast, or whatever your heart desires.
The rooms are very clean with exquisite tile flooring, refrigerators, microwaves and comfy spa robes that you will never want to change out of. A huge positive was the DirecTV boxes in the rooms with most all of the movie channels including a DVD player as well! (If you can’t find a movie or show to watch on DirecTV then you can run down the road to Vons and rent DVDs from the Red Box. (Make sure to grab snacks, drinks and cocktails/​wine while you’re there to keep in your room!)
Their spa is on site and we enjoyed a fabulous couples’ massage and a calming facial.
Tuscan Springs is somewhere we will definitely return to!

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, and romantic getaway– this is your place! We just spent an anniversary here and loved it! We were welcomed by the owner at the front desk and she was super nice! We booked a couples massage at the on-​site spa and it was amazing. The customer service here is great! The complimentary breakfast is very satisfying, it’s really more than a continental; we loved it. There’s plenty of space on the grounds so you can have privacy and eat in your room or sit at one of the many tables in the courtyard or near the pool area. The pool and two Jacuzzis have spring water which feels amazing on your hair and skin! Downtown Palm Springs is only 15 minutes away, perfect for restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back here!

The place was sooooooo relaxing. I only wish I could have stayed there more than one night.

This place is awesome. Looked to get away for a night for some peace and quiet and boy did I find it. The grounds are beautiful, like I stepped into an old Italian villa. Mineral water feeds the two jacuzzis and pool. The room was huge too! Clean and maintained to make you really feel like the owner loves this place. I know where I’ll be staying from now on.

Returning customers here. This time we upgraded to a room with a mountain view patio. The room and patio are spacious. The patio is very secluded with a sitting area as well as area to lie down for two people. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Falling in love with it all over again!

We only spent one night here but I enjoyed the the choice or the outside pool and covered hot tub and then the larger enclosed inside hot tub. I have sensitive skin so I tend to rate a place on the water quality. If I don’t feel dry and itchy, I’m happy.
In the afternoon we lay out on the large cabana style «beds» and read. Sometimes I don’t like to be in DHS but, I felt safe in this enclosed compound. What I appreciated most was the conversations we had with some very interesting intelligent people that were visiting from LA. Our room was lovely and the staff very welcoming. I did not have a massage but spoke with people that were pleased. We enjoyed this little get away especially since its adults only. A good getaway place.
