We loved this crew. They made our day. Funny, nice, courteous… I would recommend to anyone!

Our kids treated us to sail on the Daniel Webster. From the time we got onto the boat, the Crew (Jonathan, Justin&Cameron) treated us (there were only 14 of us) like we were extremely special to them. They went out of their way, serving beverages to making sure we were having a good time, to making sure we were comfortable. Although the weather prevented us from seeing any dolphins we still had a wonderful time. I really don’t think we would have had as much fun if there were 45 passengers onboard. Sometimes less is better. We would definitely go on it again. Thanks Guys.

We sailed on the Daniel Webster dolphin cruise sail boat at 1:00 pm. The seating on the boat was pretty cramped and not that great for a two hour boat ride. The crew was very friendly and very accommodating. As soon as the boat left the dock they started serving free soda, water, beer, and wine.
We made a huge circle the whole time looking for Dolphins. We saw a few, but I think we kept circling around the same ones. That’s hard to predict though, so not their fault.
Watching the crew set the sails up and down was a neat experience. I would recommend doing this dolphin cruise at least once, but I wouldn’t go a second time.

Sea quest best dolphin cruise! Family friendly and seeing dozens of Dolphins put on a show for us was definitely the highlight of our trip! The guys were very entertaining.

One of my absolute favorite memories of our time in Destin! The whole family enjoyed it. We were able to book on the same day during a busy Holiday weekend which honestly surprised me. We made sure to get there early enough to get our tickets and wait. There were some other people who almost got left on the dock, so they will leave at the appointed time. The Captain of our Boat was a lot of fun, his music system went out or else it would have been even crazier, LOL. He made jokes and had us all laughing. The complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks is a really nice touch. It really makes you feel like you are getting more for your money. We had beautiful weather and saw several schools of Dolphins. My brother got slightly sea-​sick but other than that it was perfect. My nephew got to take a turn steering the boat which he loved. This is a great idea for groups.

Excellent!!! Had a bridal party with 8 small children and had the most wonderful, relaxed, exciting time! Highly recommend!

We took the sunset dolphin cruise that lasted about 2 hours and it was spectacular! The music, the crew staff, and the views were unbeatable! The complimentary alcoholic and non-​alcoholic drinks were a plus as well! Definitely worth the money! Sailing in the gulf coast with AJ’s is a must on your trip to Destin!

We booked a sunset dolphin cruise through AJ’s and while it was enjoyable we did not really see many dolphins. Maybe it was because it was the end of the day and they are not as active? I don’t know.
I can’t remember the name of the boat we were on, but it was not the Sea Quest. It was actually a sail boat, where the Sea Quest was a much larger boat with seating for everyone. I wish the person on the phone would have told us that when I asked what the difference was between the two boats (she only told me «one goes fast and one goes slower». We chose the slower one because we had a small child with us). The ride included free beer (Bud Lite), wine (red and white), soda and water. The crew was friendly and seemed to handle the kids well while they were working around the boat. The whole thing lasted 2 hours.
Overall, I would probably do this again only during the sunset time slot. Had we gone during the middle of the day and been baking in the sun it would have been much less enjoyable (especially if we had not seen very much of the dolphins), but the cooler weather at night made for a great boat ride that the adults and kids enjoyed.

I had a horrible experience here. I was here celebrating my best friends birthday and the rude bouncer Palene ruined the entire experience. We heard that AJ’S was a great place so we decided to book there. We were all having fun and keeping to ourselves. That’s when Palene walked over and for some reason made some rude racist remarks about «white people.» I’m not sure what we did, but he continued to walk past our group giving us crazy looks and acted like he was trying to intimidate us or something. Needless to say that was way over the top. We just came here for a few drinks… so basically we cut this visit short because Palene ruined our experience.
Please avoid this place if douche bag bouncers are something you avoid. I’ll never come back here and will never recommend this place to anyone… the red door is a much more chill environment and the bouncers are common people. Not straight d! cks.

AJ’s Seaquest was one of the last group activities we did prior to leaving Destin, and I’d say that for our entire group, we had a blast! Because it was Mother’s Day, they were running a special were all moms were free, and children under 5 are always free, so a few of the people in our group were able to ride for free.
The cruise is about an 1.5 hours long, and in the price of roughly $ 25 a person, drinks, such as soda, beer, chardonnay, and water is included, with UNLIMITED refills lol. A few of the boys definitely took advantage of free refills on beer for as long as they could. We were able to see a few dolphins during our dolphin cruise, and we took a billion group photos and couple photos throughout.
Overall, the service was top-​notch, and the overall experience was great! They have restrooms available on their boats as well so that’s another huge plus!

The afternoon dolphin cruise was the highlight of our vacation… which says a lot, because I really love Destin. I almost rated it a four for two reasons, but those don’t outweigh the awesomeness of the cruise, the guide and the bartender/​waiter.
I’ll start with the booking process. I had communicated with someone from AJ’s about a month before our scheduled vacation. I didn’t want to commit to a day and time, so they told me that it wouldn’t be an issue to call or book the week of the vacation. I liked how I wasn’t pressured to go ahead and book. Well… I waited until the day of the tour. I called that morning and found out that there was availability for the afternoon cruise… score! I arrived and purchased our three tickets. I did hear the lady at the ticket window tell another person who walked up and attempted to purchase, that the tour was full. So, at least call and reserve your spot.
Once we your loaded onto the boat, we chose our seats at the side of the boat… perfect choice. There was a weird observation at the dock, before we pulled off, that if someone at AJ’s reads my review should address. There was a lady who we assumed was the owner or manager practically throwing a fit over something. It was awkward and unprofessional for her to act that why in front of so many people. The only idea that we had that she was carrying on about was the boat was overfilled. She apparently had the crew count the passengers three times. Because they kept counting and reporting back to her. I seriously almost got up in the mix and off of the boat. But I’m glad that I didn’t because once she walked away, everything else was smooth sailing.
We cruised up the shoreline first, the driver/​guide pointed out the celebrity mansions that include the homes of Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, Vanna White and several others. Then it was time to find the dolphins… those weren’t hard to find at all. Once we got into the area, they were in schools and seemed to love the attention of being watched. The absolute highlight was when we picked up speed and the dolphins rode the wake of the boat, they were jumping out of the water, keeping the same speed of the boat… it was amazing. There were other company’s boats in the area and none of them seemed to be having near as much fun as our boat nor were any of those boats picking up speed for the dolphins to ride the wave. To those people in the other boats: OUR CRUISE WAS BETTER THAN YOURS.
Free soda, water, beer and wine and they weren’t shy or stingy with them either. There was one guy in charge of pouring and he ran around constantly pouring and passing out whatever request was made. He was awesome!
When we were far out in the ocean, they lined the kids up and allowed them to «drive the boat». The kids were so excited. Even older teenagers participated and were just as excited as the smaller kids.
Do plan to tip at the end though, because they deserve it. The cruise/​quest wouldn’t be what it was had they not been so awesome.

Disappointed! Took the sunset cruise on the AJs Sailboat that consisted of chasing a handful of dolphins around in the Destin Pass where it meets the Gulf. No sailing there. Also beer included meant Bud or Bud Light. No thanks!

my boyfriend & I paid for & were scheduled to go on an afternoon dolphin sighting cruise. We were at the dock 15 minutes early as we were told to be & after waiting for over 45 minutes we went back to the window where we were told the cruise was cancelled no apology was even offered. They said they had come over to the pier to tell people, but obviously they skipped over us even tho’ we were sitting in the bleacher seats exactly where we were told to wait. Since we were only in the area for 1 day we had wasted a good portion of it & were disappointed that we could not book on another boat from a different company, since they had already left. This was extremely annoying. I would not recommend taking a chance with this company as they are unreliable.

This was one of the best parts of our trip, hands down. We danced, drank and saw an amazing dolphin show. Our son got to drive the boat and we watched the sunset over the ocean. It was awesome!

This was a great cruise! I haven’t found anything like this outside of Jamaica. The crew was very accommodating. Its all you can drink booze which is excellent for the price. We saw dolphins and a hammerhead. Its a good time. I do not recommend children under two. There were many families so even though there is booze its still family oriented and everyone seems to behave. My colleagues have experienced it with their kids as well and agreed that everyone seems to have a great time! I recommend this for any travelers and will certainly go again if back in the area.

The sailboat sunset ride costs more, but is less crowded. Very relaxed ride, beautiful views. Being out on the open water shifts your consciousness, makes me want a job like that.

I chose the Daniel Webster Clements for a morning swim and sail. The crew glistened with sea tans and smiles that made a «ting» sound. Wine, beer and soda was offered almost instantly and throughout the trip. We were made at home and with only one other family aboard it felt like our personal sailboat. My kiddos were able to steer and raise the sails. They also shot off a mini cannon that scared the oysters off the people at the beach resorts. Absolutely recommend!

. Just thought it would be a fun time for our kids who had never been on a boat. It was awesome! Best thing we did on our entire vacation. Loved it so much we came back the next day. Guys were funny, and did a great job serving drinks and letting the kids interact. We paid $ 63 total for 2 adults and 2 kids, definitely a deal!

Went in with no real expectations but at $ 20/​head with free beer/​wine for a 90 minute tour we figured we would give it a shot.
Nice big ship… Solid sound system and good upbeat song selection. Opens with a slow tour through the harbor pointing out some historical spots, restaurants, and celeb houses on holiday isle, then you head out for some dolphin spotting. Sample size of 1, but they were highly successful this afternoon.
Beverage service was very good with draft beer, Woodbridge Chardonnay or zin, and an assortment of sodas. Drinks were never empty.
Crew were great… Good mix of informative and funny banter. Our group agreed it’s the best value in own and we’ve been coming to destin /​Santa Rosa beach area for decades.
Highly recommended.

Such an awesome sunset dolphin cruise! Music, wine, great crew… what more could a birthday girl ask for??? We saw beautiful celebrity homes and yachts around the marina. As soon as we hit the Gulf of Mexico, there were dolphins galore! Such an awesome experience! There are several dolphin tours to choose from in Destin, but if you want to have a super fun time, AJ’s SeaQuest is for you!
