I grew up in Fort Walton Beach. Graduated from Choctahatchee H.S. Got my B.S. in Computer Science at the University of West Florida. Had a great job traveling the world, setting up computer networks on military installations.

Wanted to do something different, then started renting watersports equipment.

We rented the 12 passenger pontoon boat and 2 jet skis this week. The staff was extremely helpful and nice! We have rented from other boat rental Companies in Destin, Florida before this trip and Luther’s was by far the best and easiest to deal with!!! Luther’s boat rentals went the extra mile and even sent us a text informing us of upcoming bad weather. When the weather forced us off the water 2 hours into our trip, Luther’s refunded 2 of our hours without us having to ask for it. They were so easy to deal with! We cant wait to rent from them again!

Competitive rates, nice and clean pontoons, and great service! Started with quick and easy online booking and ended with great customer service. They Load everything on the boat while we were checking in. After a long eight hour day, everything was unloaded and in the bed of our truck before we realized it. It made our experience carefree and easy.

We obviously enjoyed the Destin/​Fort Walton experience hence all the five star reviews! Luther’s was no exception. Very helpful and friendly staff. We rented a kayak for a few hours and went over to crab island, and near the jetty. Lots of dolphins. Equipment was in great condition. Pfds were not great for kayaking since the back foam is just short enough (for wave runners?) to ride up on the kayak seat.

My family wanted to try wave runners during our annual family vacation. We usually use Boogies for our adventures but decided to try Luther’s. That was a good decision. First, Luther’s staff was friendly. Other rental businesses, especially at the end of the season, act like they’re doing you a favor by serving you. The team at Luther’s seemed genuinely interested in us having a good, safe experience. We enjoyed the wave runners and their friendly service. We’ll visit Luther’s again.

I rented a wave runner with my fiancé for the second time here and it’s a lot of fun!
The staff is always kind and helpful and they make sure to explain all the rules and everything thoroughly.
During peak season, it’s $ 75 an hour to rent a wave runner (during off season it’s $ 70 an hour). It’s so worth it!

Wanted to get a pontoon boat and go out and explore the bay and bayous around Destin and FWB. I chose this place because of the reviews and was not disappointed. They have a very high level of customer service and the boats are clean and well taken care of. The staff was helpful and we had an amazing day on the water. Can’t wait to come back!

Was very pleased with this find. Check in was a breeze and boat was full, clean and ready to go. Entire staff worked very hard to make our trip very nice. We were also discounted because of our small group and boat size available and did not even have to ask for any consideration. It was a wonderful afternoon on the water and would highly recommend this group to anyone visiting the Destin area.

This place was awesome! Great service helping us on and off the boat. Everyone was super nice and the prices were reasonable. If you go out to the inflatables in the bay, stay away from the guy offering free hot dogs with the big slide and Rock It Ball. He told my son and his friend they couldn’t come back because other kids were sliding off the Rock It ball because of them. No warning, no discussing with their parents and through the hot dogs away in front of them saying «oops sorry». When confronted he was very rude, unprofessional and disrespectful about it. Find another inflatable for your kids to have fun on.

An extremely well run business! High quality items that can be rented that will yield hours of family fun. The staff is professional, caring and exceeds expectations. We have rented pontoons from them for the past three years and have never been disappointed. They are the best team all around that care about their customers and go what it takes to provide an optimal experience for everyone. Little John is a class act as well as his new feline Booey. I would highly recommend renting from them. To me, their commitment to service is what makes the experience very enjoyable. I personally love working with the backbone of America, those that work hard to make someone’s experience memorable. Luther’s is the best. Don’t waste your time or money renting from anyone else.

First time renting a pontoon, the team was very helpful giving us a crash course on how to navigate the pontoon. Very friendly staff, clean units, life jackets were provided for our kids (required by law)…will rent from them again! Thanks for making it a great experience for us!

Rented a pontoon for half a day and had a great time the rental includes gas. The guys at the dock are awesome they carry your stuff to and from the boat. It was extra nice to get a nicer life vest to wear for the day since I don’t swim. Would definitely rent from again.

Top notch! I have rented from 3 other businesses in Destin — this was the best. From friendly phone service (offered up a cooler and fishing poles for the kids) to guys unloading our gear in the parking lot, I was impressed. We rented a 24′ pontoon — it was in great shape. We will only rent from Luther’s in the future

We did a half day rental on Friday during our vacation in July ’14 and it was great. The boat was in good condition with minimal wear. It is equipped with a radio but the speakers were ok so we blasted our own music. These guys are fantastic! They provide great service as they load and unload your items for you plus they load it in to your car. A tip for such service is definitely worth awarding. We will rent from them again as we try to frequent Destin when we can.

We decided to go to crab island on a pontoon boat for the first time last year. We used Luther’s and will NEVER use anyone else. The service you receive here is absolutely second to none. Their boats are beautiful, reservations are easy to make and switch. We originally wanted it for a certain day but the weather wasn’t great so they let us switch our reservation for another day. They also valet park your car, which is awesome bc there aren’t that many spots to park in that area. When we got on and got off the boat they helped us load and unloaded it for us– even the trash. They are all very friendly and helpful. We will use them again!!!

Booked a 4 hr boat rental on 6÷18÷14. Boat was clean with little wear. Boat was equipped with a radio and iPod port but you need to provide the 3.5mm cable.
The employees carry your bags/​ice chests to the boat and unloads upon return and will bring items to your car.
Would recommend Luther’s and will book again when vacationing in destin.

We took three family for four hour of pontoon cruising off Destin Bay. Luther’s provided us the pontoon with full tank and all instructions needed.
The team there took all our belonging and situated them on the pontoon.
They also offered nets, fishing poles and ice chest got the trip.
Upon completing the trip, they unloaded all the belongings.
Tips are expected but the staff deserves it.

We will only be renting from Luther’s from now on. We had a wonderful time! We have rented from others in the past but I’m really excited that we found Luther’s. Big John takes your reservations and lil John gets you set up on the water. There are other employees who will help you unload your car, air up any floaties and get you ready for an awesome day. They have competitive rates but they pull everything together including their attitudes that make you feel taken care of. This made me tip twice b/​c other places get you on the boat with very little info. They have maps!
