Come have fun with ScubaTech and dive the beautiful emerald green waters of the Emerald Coast!

ScubaTech is a full service dive center. We offer a variety of dive classes to meet your needs. We are a PADI Training Facility and one of the only SSI Training Facilities in the area. We are also a Universal Referral Training Facility, so no matter what your needs we have trained staff to complete your certification. We have a large inventory of sales and rental equipment for use on the charter boat or daily rentals as well as air and nitrox fills, and repair services. While you are in the area, come in and shop for brand names such as ScubaPro/​Uwatec, Aqualung, Apeks, GoPro, Underwater Kinetics, Riffe, A.B. Biller, Sea Life, Mares, and much more.

The Mongoose, our snorkel boat, is a Coast Guard certified, 33 foot pontoon boat. Spend a couple of hours snorkeling some of Destin’s best locations. ScubaTech’s dive boat, the Sea Cobra, is the fastest and most comfortable for its size in the area. She is a 45 foot crew boat, custom designed for maximum diver safety and comfort. There are tank racks and bench seats designed for the scuba diver’s comfort, two drop-​down ladders on a spacious platform, and two giant-​stride entry points. She also has a spacious passenger cabin with a marine head, that can be heated in the winter months.

History

Established in 1986.

Since opening nearly thirty years ago, ScubaTech has been providing not only the equipment needed for such activities as diving and snorkeling, but also classes that get you well on your way to getting wet and wild.

«Our main goal has always been safety,» says Carla Moore, co-​owner. «But our driving passion is our desire to show and teach people the joy of scuba diving. The underwater world is a magical place that so few people get to experience, so our mission at ScubaTech is to share that excitement.»

Nancy and Carla are co-​owners of ScubaTech and have been in business for almost 30 years. Nancy is the boat captain of the Sea Cobra and Carla runs the store. As always, sarcasm is served all day and the abuse is always free. See you soon!
