This place is lunch time gold! Their grinders are gigantic, full of great tasting ingredients, and cheap. The Chicago steak on garlic cheese bread with jalapeños is the best! Honestly, you cannot better and more filling lunch than what you get a Bellacino’s. You won’t regret getting lunch here.

Been here a couple more times since my first visit and they never disappoint! Very friendly and fast service. The Veggie Grinder is very yummy with the blend of cheddar and mozz. I recommend adding banana peppers! Very fair price for the size sandwich you get.

Good toasty warm grinders. That’s truly all that needs to be said here. Lunch get’s pretty busy especially when the weather is nice as the nearby office buildings unload their cooped up masses for the rush. They tend to turn things around pretty quick and always seem to be appropriately staff to get things take care of as quickly as possible. If you get the chance to call ahead, it probably makes things a bit quicker upon pick up. I tend to always get the Italian Grinder and it has never gotten old. I always get it without onions and green peppers as those ingredients tend to talk back just a bit at the office. Then I add black olives — and if I’m really feeling it — I’ll at meatballs as well. Yes I know. Overkill perhaps. But it’s oh so good.

I recommend calling your order in ahead. They oven bake each sandwich so it helps with time… that and downtown has a large lunch rush. I am a HUGE fan of the house specialty the Italian Grinder. The bread is always nice and toasty… some complain that it rips up their mouth. I love when the cheese bakes over and spills out of the sandwich and turns into crispy bits of melty cheese. The mushrooms are a nice addition to the sandwich. I always add banana peppers on mine to give it some tang. I also love when the salami gets a little crisp around the edges. The ham is nice and sweet. The green peppers stay nice and firm. The true star though is the Italian sausage balls. I do not know of any other deli/restaurant that adds Italian sausage to their Italian sandwiches… and it is sooooooo good! One thing that I love about this chain is I have been to at least four different locations and they are all consistent. The regular is quite large… the large is HUGE… lunch and dinner sized… You definitely don’t want to walk that back to the office… it looks like a party sub!
