Specialties
We teach and practice the Ving Tsun (Wing Chun) Kung Fu system. Ving Tsun is a southern Chinese martial art known for its efficient and relaxed movement. Focus on the classical details brings the full fighting art to modern life.
Our effective self defense promotes a relaxed mind and body, a healthy life, and a peaceful spirit.
History
Established in 2006.
The Detroit Kung Fu Academy first opened it’s doors in the Eastern Market of Detroit, Mi in 2006. The school has steadily expanded it’s class size and schedule. The school now offers class 6 days a week. We offer classes for adults only. We also have a women’s self-defense program.
In the summer of 2012 we opened a branch in Southfield, in Sherwood square plaza off of Greenfield Rd.
