FutureNet Group (FNG) is a Detroit, Michigan based energy and Environmental, Construction, Technology, and Security company that provides infrastructure improvement and protection through innovative technologies. All of the company’s divisions work together, pooling resources to generate cost efficiencies and to add value to every contract by exceeding client expectations. Our value-​added qualities consists of our multiple certifications – ISO 9001:2008, HUBZone, 8(a) STARS II GWAC, GSA Schedules 70 & 899, MDOT and MMBDC – as well as our in-​house proposal teams, and our capacity to build relationships that last.

In mid-​2012, FNG’s subsidiary, FutureNet Security Solutions, acquired the assets of Smith & Wesson Security Solutions. This new acquisition added a manufacturing facility in Franklin, Tennessee and more than 80 employees to the company’s roster, who continue to engineer and build the most competitive perimeter security products in the world.

History

Established in 1994.

1994: It all started with President and CEO, Perry Mehta, whose entrepreneurial aspirations were first realized during his formative years. While working for another firm, Mehta spent his nights and weekends building the firm that would later earn millions of dollars in revenue. When FutureNet Group opened its doors in 1994, it began specializing in Information Technology in the U.S. and overseas.

2003: The company goes through a new strategic planning process and expands into the construction, engineering and environmental industries. Dee Mehta joined the firm.

2004 – 2007: FNG gets certified as company and starts working with the City of Detroit, Planning and Development Department, performing lead inspection and clearances for single and multi-​family homes, and residential buildings. The company embraces an aggressive strategic plan to seek out small projects that would help broaden awareness of its capabilities, while increasing business.

True to his convictions, Mehta is constantly developing his teams and creating strategic alliances with other business leaders to accelerate FNG’s growth and viability. In mid-​2012, FNG’s subsidiary, FutureNet Security Solutions, acquired the assets of Smith & Wesson Security Solutions. This new acquisition added a manufacturing facility in Franklin, Tennessee and more than 80 employees to the company’s roster, who continue to engineer and build the most competitive perimeter security products in the world.

FutureNet Group and its subsidiary now have more than 200 employees and associates, both nationally and internationally.
