Don’t even bother trying to order delivery from here. I’m a 4 minute drive away and it took me almost 2 hours for my order with no explanation. AVOIDATALLCOSTS.

I order Jimmy’s at least once a week to have delivered to my work. I always order from the app and I select a time frame around my lunch for it to arrive. I have not once had a problem with my delivery. The guys are always friendly and patient with me if I happen to be busy helping a customer.

NOT. FREAKY. FAST. I placed a delivery order today that took almost two hours to arrive to me– had I not been told it would only take up to 30 minutes for the delivery to arrive I wouldn’t be upset about this. After an hour had passed I called the location to check on the status of my order and was told my order«literally just walked out the door» whelp, didn’t know sandwiches could walk. 45 minutes later my order finally arrived. Had there been some form of communication acknowledging the excessive wait time or at least an apology I wouldn’t be writing this.

Unfortunately I am forced to lower my rating for this business. I’ve been eating from this Jimmy John’s for years. And until recently never had a bad experience. But recently I’ve gotten sandwiches two or even three hours after they were ordered. I’ve repeatedly gotten sandwiches made with bread that was stale and even moldy. And frequently in recent weeks have received orders that were just wrong.

Your everyday Jimmy John’s. Nothing special but fast service and they make good sandwiches quick!

I have ate at this location a few times now and every time it sucks. The people that work here are rude. I get it you’re making minimum wage and your life sucks, but look I’ve worked at a jimmy johns before and ITSNOTTHATHARD. Grow up. Make what I asked for and don’t roll your eyes at me when I asked for something and you were too impatient to wait till I said it to start making my sandwich. Anyways I use to love jimmy johns but now… ugh.

Why does this location always take 40 minutes to an hour for delivery. They are only half a block from me. I could walk there and back faster then there delivery service. I sure hope my drinks and food havent sat there for 40 minutes!

If i could id give this zero stars. Foods overpriced. Tastes horrible. My order got screwed up. And the manager was extremely rude and didnt even apologize for getting my order wrong. Also, delivery took forever. DON’T go here.

I love me some Jimmy John’s. This one is located on the campus of Wayne State. If you’re not on foot, you’re limited to street/metered parking(watch out — the meter maids swarm in without warning!), but you are waaaay more likely to find a spot here than trying to hit up the Griswold location downtown. The bored college kids who work here need to learn that it won’t kill them to crack a smile or make a little friendly small talk — but whatever, they still make a good sandwich. About 6 months ago they raised their prices here by a full dollar(I think this is an individual franchise choice), so the regular subs are $ 5 and the club subs are $ 6. Ridiculous, for a plain little sandwich! But… something about the simple combination of flavors, and that amazing bread keeps me coming back. And, like the radio commercials say, they are certainly fast. In and out, before the meter maid can get me. :)

I like Jimmy Johns. But this one seems a little bit sloppy. It is right next to the Engineering School of WSU. The sandwich I ordered(a Gargantuan) was not made well, and they left off the dressings. The soda machine was out of several syrups. We will try them again, but as I said, this one is a little bit sloppy.

We usually order from work every few weeks and always have it delivered. Delivery usually takes 30 – 45 which is better than a lot of places that deliver to the DMC. We usually order between 7 – 15 sandwiches and the order is right every single time! We’ve never had to call them back for anything. Highly recommend for delivery!

I am tired of subway and this is a refreshing change. They are really fast and their hours is a lot better than the Starbucks on the same block. Pretty surprised that their sandwiches is as good as it is since they make it so fast. I also like how they use ingredients that other fast food sandwiches joints don’t. I see myself coming here pretty often.

Place is great. Love the location. And it’s classic Jimmy Johns. Order online and it’s ready when you show up. The only negative is parking. Since it’s right next to the dorms on Wayne State’s campus, it can be tricky to find a spot. But if you can find a spot, enjoy it, it’s awesome!

Good location, but a typical Jimmy John’s. I suspect they keep the music annoyingly loud to get people to get out quicker, since it can be crowded at times.

fast pick up if you order ahead. delivery in the local area is as slow as if an armadillo drove it from texas. took more than 1 hr to go less than 5 blocks from their location. The parking situation is totally nightmarish and usually results in a ticket; unless you have someone drop you off and pick you up. call for selection before you go, after 7pm, because they run out of things. on wsu campus. not my favorite place to get a sandwich because it’s loud and crowded always. service sucks and forget about anyone hearing what you say unless you shout. the manager has all the tact of a tac head.

Would have been faster is FedEx delivered. took almost an hour, and when it arrived my TUNA was room temp and my cherry coke was flat and most of the ice was melted. My first and last Jimmy Johns adventure. Also, the manager was quite rude when I talked to her on the phone after 45 minutes of wondering where the«freaky fast delivery» was. No Thank You!

I was glad when this Jimmy John’s opened up on campus. I was getting sick of subways and all other fast food crap the campus have to offer. This location gets pretty packed during lunch times but you can always find a seat if you decided to dine in. As previous reviewer stated the music is indeed loud and sometimes its hard to carry on a conversation. Nothing else here stands out. Just another regular Jimmy Johns.

Tasty subs, super fast, obnoxiously loud location, moderate prices. Also surprised that NOBODY has review this yet, cuz every time I visit, the place is packed with students and lunch-time munchers. The subs here are pretty decent. I like the sub with the salami and bologna, i always ask for packets of yellow mustard which they keep hidden beneath the counters. A foot-long with a coke makes for a pretty great meal in a pinch. The service is always speedy. At this particular location, the music is often turned up 5 notches above ear-bleed level, and the worst kind of «college music» you can imagine(are they ALL like that? this is the only one I’ve been to). Wish they’d tone that down some, for the customers as much as the workers. I never want to sit down and eat inside the place, always getting my sub to go. The prices are almost reasonable, though I think they lean just slightly into eyebrow-raising territory… but then again, the subs here are far superior to Subway… the meat is definitely more fresh, and their bread, in all its simplicity, is awesome.
