Food is good. Lines are long. Takes a while to get your food. Service is average. Very little seating. Not a good place to go if you are with a large group. Overall a good place to visit.

If there’s one thing I miss about living in podunk Middle America, it’s Dexter Queen. I can’t even begin to describe how a Lotta-Pig sandwich tastes. There’s definitely nothing else like it! Even though the quality has suffered lately(less meat, buns don’t seem to be prepared the same way, they’re too busy adding nonsense items like wings to the menu, etc and so on) this is still a great place. I can’t wait for the day I have a large Lotta-Pig, extra hot with a large order of fries and hot sauce to dip them into sitting in front of me!

I love this place. I normally do not like BBQ and I seldom eat pork, but my boss got me a «pig basket» there one day and I was starving, plus I didn’t want to seem unthankful. I do not like sauces but on this pork sandwich they have a yellow mustard based hot sauce that I actually loved. They also put slaw on their sandwiches, which I would never have ordered for myself, but found I really liked it. Now I am hooked on these things even though I know pork is bad for me. Once you break down and eat the pork it makes it easier to order one of their waffle cones and believe me — their ice cream is outstanding. They have shakes, but I have never ordered one. I know it’s hard to believe, but I am trying to watch my weight. LOL This is an old time fmaily restruant and you can even eat at the outside pic-nic tables on nice days.

Love the Lotta Pigs!!! Sort of a hole-in-the-wall place. The Lotta Pig sandwiches have chopped, not pulled, pork with coleslaw in a mustard sauce. It made my hubby think of childhood BBQ from Memphis. These are not runny, you put your own sauce on them. They also will keep for lunch the next day! The shakes are delicious too. If you are ever close by, take a drive on over and enjoy!

One of my favorite places in the world. A staple in the Dexter community, the Lotta Pig is one of the most unique sandwiches I have ever had. The mustard sauce is great but be sure to try the red as well. Also, great fries(order extra crispy), cheeseburgers & chili! BBQ nachos are great as well.

I’ve been eating here for as long as I can remember! I love the pig sandwiches and the hot mustard is awesome! The chicken sandwiches are also good. Had a milkshake this past drop in and man was it delicious! Prolly one of the best shakes I’ve had! Stop in and get a BBQ and Shake, you won’t be disappointed!

The Lotta Pig is my all time favorite sandwich! The spicy mustard sauce is so good, I order it and have it sent to me! Check them out on my website called Hunger Maps. Since 1949, «The Dexter Queen» has been known for their hickory smoked«Pig» and«Lotta Pig» sandwiches with a secret spicy mustard sauce. The pork is smoked with locally grown hickory. The locals absolutely love this place!
